Ministering Spirits
Hebrews 1:14 includes information about the ministry of elect angels to believers: “Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?” Angels are spiritual beings involved in many different tasks, and part of the elect angel’s work is to serve, or minister to, believers in different ways.
The Greek word for “ministering” refers to being in service to others. Being servants, angels are said to “serve” believers, which in the original Greek has the idea of someone waiting a table. The author of Hebrews refers to angels as ministers or servants to those who have trusted in Jesus for salvation, and the context of Hebrews 1 specifically contrasts the service of angels with the greater work of Jesus, since He is superior to angels (Hebrews 1:5–14).
As “ministering spirits,” angels serve believers in several ways. At times, angels are sent by God to answer prayers. An example of this is when Peter was imprisoned shortly after the execution of James (Acts 12). As Peter was in his cell chained between two guards, “the church was earnestly praying to God for him” (verse 5). “Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him up. ‘Quick, get up!’ he said, and the chains fell off Peter’s wrists” (verse 7). The arrival of an angel to rescue Peter was an obvious answer to the church’s prayer. God can use angels to answer our prayers just as He did in this instance, even if it is not in a visible manner.
Another way that angels are ministering spirits is that they are sometimes sent to encourage believers. In Scripture, angels encouraged and attended the Lord Jesus at least twice: after He was tempted in the desert for 40 days and 40 nights and in the Garden of Gethsemane (Matthew 4:11; Luke 22:43). Paul was encouraged by an angel during a storm at sea (Acts 27:23–24).
Providing protection for believers is another service that angels do for the Lord (see Psalm 91:11). An army of angels surrounded Elisha in 2 Kings 6, protecting him from the Arameans. Daniel was protected in the lions’ den by an angel who “shut the mouths of the lions” (Daniel 6:22). Many people believe in personal “guardian angels”; it could be that every believer has an angel assigned to him for protection, but there is nothing specifically stated in the Bible about personal guardian angels.
Despite the ministries that angels carry out for believers, it is important to remember that the Lord of hosts is our Savior, and He is the one who ultimately sends them. Angels do not act on their own accord, nor are they omniscient or omnipresent (Psalm 148:5). The holy angels do God’s bidding. It is God alone who deserves the praise and glory for the answered prayers, encouragement, protection, and service that angels carry out for believers.
We are grateful for the “ministering spirits” that God has ordained, and we give God praise for His care for us. For all their power and glory, the elect angels know their role as servants of the Most High. Like the angel in Revelation emphatically said to John when the apostle tried to worship him, “Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your fellow prophets and with all who keep the words of this scroll. Worship God!” (Revelation 22:9).

Are we all praying for Carl?
You betcha! Any news from anywhere?
I took a quick peek at Marica’s and Sylvia’s, and there are likewise prayers but no new information.
No PMs from anybody.
Did another round of peeking. No luck.
Yes!
very much so
Oh yes.
Of course.
Yes, Praying for Carl as he recovers

Still praying.
Hopeful that he will come through better than before.
Amen! I hope there is some word soon as to how he’s doing…
Prayers for bakocarl and his family.
Since we’re still within the five-year anniversary of “two weeks to slow the spread,” here are two thoughtful essays (parts 1 and 2) by Josh Stylman, which Doctor Malone posted on his website:

“Performative activism” is an expression new to me. The experience, now, is not.
New York has a problem.

I wouldn’t live in New York if you gave me a free mansion there.
AMEN! I RAN from that state and that was when it was a decent place to live.
Leftist hellhole.
Fifty years ago upstate was a decent conservative place. And yes, now it is a Hellhole.
Hubby drove across upstate NY on his way to visit East Coast brothers & he Felt the heavy oppression when he crossed the state lines. There is Deep Darkness entrenched there
Jonathan Cahn: Reflections on the change of the seasons and the history of God’s intervention into the affairs of men. I did find it encouraging.
“God said it’s all planned for the end of March” is the title at the top of the video.
I skimmed through. Cahn appears to be proclaiming Scripture verses and the power of God, mixed in with Cahn’s assertion that “The end of March is a spiritual threshold.”
~20:12: “The alarm is sounding. God is speaking.”
“Those who are prepared will see His hand move in ways they never imagined.”
20:36: “There is a set time for breakthroughs, restoration, and judgment. The end of March is a prophetic marker for this. God does not move randomly. His works are aligned with divine appointments…”
20:55: “There are moments when Heaven touches earth, when what has been delayed is released, what has been broken is restored, and what has been hidden is revealed. And the Spirit is declaring that the end of March is one of those moments. It is not just another passing of days; it is a window for divine appointments.”
In my opinion, one either believes that Cahn is getting messages from God as he claims, in which case one believes Cahn is a prophet, or not. I am in the latter camp.
“In my opinion, one either believes that Cahn is getting messages from God as he claims, in which case one believes Cahn is a prophet, or not. I am in the latter camp.”
___________
Fortunately, in this case, we don’t have to wait long to find out
Yes, the end of March is here. If someone can name one thing we’re supposed to be looking for, or one thing that is supposed to take place at the end of March, I’ll watch and see if it happens.
Tariffs!
Whoops – that’s the beginning of April! Oh, well!
Try it under the Julian calendar.
Did he mention which year???
I don’t think so. My impression was that it was current and he was talking about this year. If he were talking about past years, then we should be able to name those “breakthroughs,” “divine appointments,” and hidden things being revealed.
But all of that is so vague and open to interpretation that people could search around and come up with things that match those descriptions, because it is all subjective. That’s the
beautydeception of this kind of soothsaying.A very astute observation. Kudos.
Jonathan Cahn, as much as one can know from afar, has faithfully been reminding America of her roots in God and pleading with her to quit her sins and return to holiness. This message is the same. He again is pleading with those in compromise to reject their sins and return to God.
And while some might find it jarring to have someone declare what they believe is God’s message in the moment, we do have the body of the cannon of Scriptures giving many examples of this, including in the book of Acts where a famine was warned, and the church made preparations for it.
I skimmed and didn’t listen to every word, but I did not hear the word “sin” or any admonition to turn away from sins and toward God. That would be what any preacher says. Instead, I heard that “God does not do things randomly” (does anyone think He does?) and that the end of March is one of those “appointed times” (for what exactly, I didn’t hear Cahn say).
I don’t trust people like Cahn to tell me what God is saying. That anyone does is puzzling to me.
This appears to equate what Cahn says with what Scripture says.
His Wikipedia page is helpful. He doesn’t strike me as being as specifically prophetic as Julie Green, but he is classified as an end times pastor.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jonathan_Cahn
Julie Green is a tool of the devil. IMO.
Every day I tell myself that I am, too, and try to find ways to oppose it!
The difference is that you are not telling everyone else that God is speaking to you in special ways.
Well, that’s big umbrella you’ve put yourself under, and not what I intended. However, you ain’t making money from it, best as I can tell.
You’re right about that!
I try to be very careful. Money, I’m plenty wary of. But tolerance of sin – that is a ROUGH knife-edge. If we tolerate too much sin and worse yet model that tolerance, we are indeed tools of the devil, IMO. And yet if we are not tolerant of sinners – same. Following Christ on that lesson is hard.
I’ve been watching crime shows about cults – typically “Christian” religious cults – and they are often very extreme examples of diabolical behavior and beliefs sneaking into the body of Christ. These cult leaders are clearly tools of the Devil, and I can certainly see “milder false prophets” as lesser tools. But I can’t excuse myself. I see people placing too much authority on me here, and I know I bear responsibility, even with freedom of speech being proclaimed loudly.
I even have to question how much freedom of speech is NOT a tool of the Devil? Are there limits?
Yeah, I worry too much. I’m just thankful for salvation, because I need it! I know that if there are other believers stating their beliefs around me, the body of Christ will help to counsel me toward the proper interpretation of the Word.
fascinating, which “wolf” do we feed…hmmm…
I have known about him for a long time.
I’m making a very basic point: When someone proclaims that God is speaking to them and telling them what God wants the rest of us to know, I don’t understand why people just accept that.
In this case, the pronouncements are so vague that they can’t be disproved.
Cahn: “There is a set time for breakthroughs, restoration, and judgment. The end of March is a prophetic marker for this.”
It is now the end of March. What are people supposed to take from that? And how does he know the end of March is a “prophetic marker”?
Cahn: “There are moments when Heaven touches earth, when what has been delayed is released, what has been broken is restored, and what has been hidden is revealed. And the Spirit is declaring that the end of March is one of those moments.”
So anyone who experiences a healed relationship or who gains clarity about a problem they’ve been working on–or who reads things into political occurrences–etc., can state that Cahn heard this from God? What about all the people who don’t have some kind of “Heaven touches earth” experience? In the minds of True Believers (in Cahn), that’s okay because God spoke to him. And they know this because…Cahn said so.
Some responsible adults, people who work and raise children and fulfill their commitments, those who will not allow themselves to be conned by shysters, those who warn their children about people who will take advantage of them (and worse), will fall for the word of anyone who wraps their rhetoric in Scriptural references, who proclaims the greatness of God while stating He speaks to them, who seems “nice,” and especially, especially, especially adds a touch of mystery.
Heeding Cahn’s words, one is led to think about what mysterious things might be happening at the end of March. And those who believe Cahn will most likely find something.
I am not a prophet, but here is a “prophetic” word from me: I admonish people to think critically and to use discernment. Don’t blindly accept the word of anyone, but steep yourself in the Word of God. This does not come from a place of being critical for the sake of it; it comes from a place of tremendous concern. Praying for discernment and wisdom is a valuable practice.
I’m making a very basic point: When someone proclaims that God is speaking to them and telling them what God wants the rest of us to know, I don’t understand why people just accept that.
Don’t you assume that what you hear every Sunday when listening to your pastor’s sermon is the result of God speaking to your pastor?
No, I don’t.
Our preacher would understand why someone might believe that way, but he would be quick to explain that his sermon was taken directly from the Scriptures, the Word of God.
It was a lesson prepared by himself, a regular man, taken from God’s Word.
That rings true.
To elaborate on my “No, I don’t” reply:
I believe that good, sincere pastors pray about what to preach and that they might have answers to those prayers. IMO, that is entirely different from a self-proclaimed prophet teling people that God told them something.
Pastors are expounding on the Scriptures, not imparting new revelations that are extra-Biblical.
I don’t believe we are to take what pastors say as coming directly from God and therefore being infallible. Pastors are human beings and, as such, make mistakes and can allow their own prejudices to infiltrate their thinking. On the other hand, sometimes a person can come away from a sermon with the thought that it was exactly what they needed to hear at that time. Was that directed by God? It’s highly likely, IMO. Does that mean that everything the pastor says is as a result of God speaking to him? IMO, no.
Unity in the Body
(Psalm 133:1-3; 1 Corinthians 1:10-17 KJV)
1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.
9 (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?
10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)
11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
No.
Not much different than a high priced psychic session.
I find your reaction to have a refreshing level of clarity.
Something I just realized. There is no requirement that religiously discerning thoughts be puffed up as prophesy. It is surely possible to state that one intuits exciting and important times at the end of March, and yet deny that this is a prophetic utterance. So yeah.
IMO that line should be clearlly drawn, but it isn’t. When someone states something over and over without saying that it’s merely their own thinking, then a lot of people will leap to the conclusion that it’s a “word from God.” And IMO that impression is willingly promoted. People are drawn to mystery, and this presents something to ponder and watch for. That also brings people back for more.
When someone builds an entire business around “religiously discerning thoughts,” then I think people start to see it as prophecy.
YES – and this is because followers will tend to assume things are prophetic, AND leaders will succumb to pride and vanity.
One way to fight his, and still have predictive thoughts about religious things, is to hold discussion, as opposed to shoehorning such thinking into preaching.
Although, TBH, some “discussion format end-times crap” is still crap. I tend to run from such programs.
“People are drawn to mystery…”
Truer words were never spoken.
That makes me want to find all the places in Scripture where the word “mystery” is found.
I think that’s what the word “gnostic” means, isn’t it?
Good question.
Wikipedia says: “Gnosis is a feminine Greek noun which means “knowledge” or “awareness.”.” I guess gnostics wanted to advertise that they were “in the know”
Which probably should raise our suspicions right away!
The New Testament contains the word “mystery” quite a few places:
https://biblehub.com/search.php?q=mystery
I mainly think if it in terms of the Trinity, the Eucharist, and the Gospel itself.
Here’s more on the Greek:
https://biblehub.com/greek/3466.htm
Not “just” knowledge. Special, secret, hidden knowledge.
People want to know things they have no business knowing. People want to know things others don’t know.
I am very suspicious of modern day “prophets.” I have been exposed to enough charlatans of all stripes to be very wary. And once ANY “prophecy” they make is revealed to be untrue, they are exposed as fake. The Bible assures us that true prophets are ALWAYS correct.
Further, the word “mystery” in the New Testament is used to refer to secrets that were not revealed in the Old Testament, but were revealed in the New Testament.
The Bible is the full and final Word of God. It is complete, and it is enough. Seeking truth outside of its pages is dangerous and false. Interpretation of its contents is allowed, but should not include outside sources. The Bible is the source.
When someone says, “the Spirit declared,” and they present that “declaration” to everyone else, IMO that is more than just a “thought” and it crosses into the realm of prophecy.
Yes – that is a bit of a word game, IMO. One of the gifts of the spirit is prophesy – right? That’s what is being alleged.
There is a shadow to the spiritual gift of discernment too. It’s thinking more highly of yourself than others, and the fruit of that spirit is not pretty.
Malachi 3:18
Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.
1 Kings 3:11
And God said unto him, Because thou hast asked this thing, and hast not asked for thyself long life; neither hast asked riches for thyself, nor hast asked the life of thine enemies; but hast asked for thyself understanding to discern judgment;
It is Scriptural to ask God for discernment.
Absolutely!
Hebrews 5 (KJV)
Warning against Drifting Away
11 Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.
12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
Yes! Discernment has to be fair and always turn to the Word for clarity. But when it is not practiced at all, as a form of putting the [alleged] discernment of others first, it can be deadly.
Many of the victims of cult leaders will always take the word of the cult leader over their own common sense. Cult leaders who demand the wives and children of followers for their own wicked pleasure (which is surprisingly common), are far too frequently accommodated by followers who cannot trust their own common sense and ability to interpret the Word of God for themselves. I find it quite shocking.
Other victims of these bad leaders aid in the commission of crimes and even murder – same thing. These poor people seem on the surface to be exemplary Christians – their innocence is startling – and yet they simply cannot think of themselves as being more morally fit than their leader who demands things that very obviously fly against the Word of the Bible.
Reflexive, knee-jerk self-debasement is problematic. But so is “I’m never wrong!”
(The cult leaders are tricky. They say “God’s never wrong.” The poor victims have no skepticism or discernment to argue back.)
The person who is truly anchored in Jesus Christ of Nazareth, and worships Him in spirit and truth, will not easily be deceived. But we are warned that it may be possible for the elect to be deceived. And we are indeed instructed to GROW in our discernment. Which is where a godly family and a solid church support this growth.
17 The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband:
18 For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly.
19 The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.
20 Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.
21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.
22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.
23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
You got it.
There are others here that agree with you. And there are likely some that do not agree with you. But those who agree will happily concur.
And perhaps those with an authentic Christian faith that sees God in more places than you will keep to themselves because of the hostility. I don’t know. Could be.
Is perceived “hostility” the reason you have responded to me repeatedly without addressing even one of the concerns I’ve brought up? Because that is what typically happens: I get blamed for “not being nice” when people don’t want to face the points under consideration.
We are in agreement on so much. And Wolf’s points about dangerous cult leaders must be considered as well.
But my question remains. Is this discussion about a specific persons’ life, a reaction to a different cultural presentation (raised in Jewish faith with a similar speaking style), or a reaction based on theological differences?
Gudthots, to answer the sense of your question as opposed to the specifics. I think the debate is how the purpose and practice of prophecy, both in the Bible and in the contemporary world, is to be understood. How do we balance our expectations of how the Holy Spirit and Scripture can be used to discern what God is saying to the Church and to the saints? There are clear schools of thought on what that should look like. Schools that were formed centuries ago who are still debating the same questions. Of course, world views and cultural realities influence the debate, often bringing as much confusion as clarity. From my perch on the theological tree, such matters for the individual can never be resolved by anything other than prayer, Scripture, and introspection. These differences are not problems so much as terminology, communication, and differing understanding of a pilgrim’s walk with God. We cannot forget what Paul, with whom I agree, said, that we, in the best of circumstances, are looking through a smokey glass.
Not to mention the spiritual battle to hold fast to Faith, Hope, and Love.
Without speaking for TT, I offer this viewpoint.
I think that TT’s position reflects a widespread theological position, in which modern prophesy (as in prediction of future events) has almost zero, if not zero footprint. Indeed, I think that Catholic theology, accepting some modern miracles and mystical revelations containing statements about future events, as divine or divinely inspired, after much study, is considerably more accepting of modern prophesy than the position that TT holds.
Here is a strong explanation of a position similar to what TT asserts. This source is often used by both myself and bakocarl.
https://www.gotquestions.org/gift-of-prophecy.html
I am perhaps somewhat closer to the Catholic position, but still fairly skeptical of modern prophesy about future events.
The Orthodox Church has a perspective too. They handle it very cautiously and keep lots of skepticism on hand.
I agree with this from that source:
“Christians are to be very wary of those who claim to have a ‘new’ message from God.”
And this:
“…the truth of God today has already been fully revealed in His Word, while, in the early church, it had not yet been fully revealed.”
But for the sake of discussion, say that modern prophecy exists. Would it be given daily to people who write it down so fast that they don’t know what they’re writing until they read it back later? Such a scenario was never described in the Bible, so why shouldn’t we be wary? We are told to test the spirits.
I John 4:1:
“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world”
Would prophecy be something to gain a following from and to make money off of? Because there’s a lot of that going on today.
Would prophecy be something that doesn’t makes sense and that does not edify and instruct people? There’s an awful lot of vague, mysterious musing passed off as prophecy.
And what should people look for in a prophet? Someone whose prophecies come true? According to Scripture, yes. Yet many Christians devoutly follow those whose prophecies have failed many times.
My impression is that all someone has to do is appear to be a nice person, quote Scripture, talk about God, and state that they have received a message, and people will flock to them. It is beyond my understanding, but IMO it’s a much more serious issue than whether I understand it or not.
The scenario you present is one that I too reject based on the scriptures. But it appears to be a straw man for me in this case.
I don’t know specifically what you are referring to.
It would help greatly if you would be specific about your opinion about Cahn: whether you lthink he is being spoken to by the Holy Spirit as he claims; if you do think that, what informs your opinion; what you think we are to take from his statements about the end of March; etc.
My experience is that finding the good in another child of God is enormously harder than seeing the errors. And that, while earnestly desiring to be discerning and wise, at the same time I am want to be extremely cautious any time I notice I am about to pick up a stone to throw.
Again, no specifics presented, which prevents all conversation about the things I’ve mentioned.
No doubt there is a great deal of good in Cahn. Do you believe he is someone to whom the Holy Spirit speaks, and who relays such messages to the rest of us?
The pattern given in the New Testament of church life is that each city had a team of overseers, appointed by the apostles to begin with. Prophets were not just setting up shop and holding conferences. Those in the church were deeply instructed in the faith, even if they were waiting to be fed to the lions. Those that lived would grow in maturity within the community of faith.
This is how the body of Christ stays healthy. When everyone walks carefully before the Lord with the awareness that they have chosen His path which may lead to martyrdom. And when each stays in community where every day will create opportunity for ego, pride, deception, and even depression to surface, then each can be helped to overcome the world, the flesh, and the devil.
That’s why it’s helpful when inspecting the fruit of a person with a public ministry of any kind to ask the question, “what is their history with working in the community of faith?”
IMO a better question is “Do they adhere to Christian orthodoxy?” because many false teachers have done good works. That’s why they have so many followers.
Of course.
But there are plenty of teachers in the church that have the right theology but the fruit of their lives reveals they are not living to the standard they proclaim.
As for a specific person’s life, which in this case is Jonathan Cahn, there are questionable things about his life and his teachings that can be found by researching. In my experience, the true believers act as if those things do not exist. I also don’t agree with the premise of his book The Harbinger.
This goes beyond theological differences for me. The questions begin when something doesn’t resonate or make sense, both in my experience of living in the world and in light of Scripture. It was the same when people said that a double had taken the place of Ruth Bader Ginsburg because she was already dead and *they* wanted to announce her death at a politically convenient time. I won’t rehash all the problems with that, but many people on the internet were insistent even though they could not flesh out the theory and describe how it would work, even though the things they insisted had happened were impossible, and even though there was no evidence to back them up.
I find somewhat similar aspects in this case. I have zero reason to believe that the Holy Spirit is speaking a message to Cahn that I should listen to. And when that message is just specific enough to present a date range (the end of March) but so vague that it’s impossible to tell what he’s talking about or to have anything to test his prophecy with, then I have major problems with it.
The questions I have asked are genuine, not intending to be argumentative. I truly don’t understand. This has come up before, both with political theories and with others whom people consider prophets, and no one can ever defend their position. The idea is presented, questions are raised, and the questioner is denounced instead of anyone presenting reasons why they believe what they do. It seems that people are just expected to accept things in certain realms of thought, when they wouldn’t dream of doing so in other areas of their life. It makes no sense to me.
I’m with you on the “doubles” theories. Has always felt like a fringe type distraction to me. IF it were true, what would it change in my world, right now?
As for prophesy in the church today, I don’t feel like it’s a matter of “defending a position” as much as an opportunity for a long conversation where both sides can gain understanding of another viewpoint. Which means you aren’t going to see me trying to rebut you or prove something to you.
I am very clear how you see it. You’ve been very direct and very outspoken about it just about every time it comes up.
I hope and pray that we will continue to build each other up in love while discussing these things in the future.
I’m not asking you to prove something. And it’s impossible to have a conversation when one person doesn’t address ideas that the other broaches.
That’s good. I am completely in the dark about what you think specifically about Cahn.
Building each other up in love is a good goal, but forgive me; I am puzzled. You talk about discussing these things in the future, but we haven’t had a conversation about the things I’ve mentioned.
As I said before, this is how it always goes. People will disagree with me, some will get defensive, and some will attack me, but no one will address the specific questions and/or concerns I mention.
If that is your choice, so be it, and I will honor that. But I will not pretend we have had a discussion about issues that are of great concern to me.
You are asking me to offer my opinion about Jonathan Cahn. And I am declining to offer my opinion. And I’ve given you a couple replies trying to indicate a bit of why I have declined.
However, it’s obvious that I had some kind of positive opinion because I choose to post this video (that youtube served up to me for some reason). At the time I was just thinking that there are some here that might find some encouragement in it.
Now, what youtube served up for a header page when I posted it was NOT what I saw displayed when I clicked the link from inside of youtube. And as soon as I saw what it posted I thought, uh oh, this is going to be an interesting discussion incoming.
There’s more I can say on another day when I’ve beat this chest congestion/crud that’s got me down at the moment. Please know that I appreciate the time and thought you put into your replies, forgive me for where I have failed to understand or respond clearly.
Hope you feel better soon. The cough crap that’s been going through our family for more than a month has rather kicked many of our butts
Thank you; no need for forgiveness. I hope and pray you have a speedy recovery.
In no way was it my intention to find the spiritual gift given to the church to be equal with accepted Scripture.
In my example do you see the difference between accepted Scripture (book of Acts) and the story in that scripture (multiple believers prophesying the coming of a famine to Jerusalem)?
(which might to some, sound similar to motivational speakers of all stripes, btw)
Indeed.
Book A, which you trust implicitly, says that someone (B) said something.
That means B opened his mouth and uttered the words. If you trust A, then you believe it to be a certainty that B uttered the words.
Not that the words B said were correct.
Right.
Moses (in his accepted writings) instructs Israel to check the lives and the theology of those claiming to be prophets. If they led them to follow other gods, their words carried no weight, and they were to be dealt with as a danger to the nation.
Paul (in his accepted writings) instructs the church to JUDGE prophesy. His instructions are different, yet similar. The church is to listen to prophesy, to compare it to Scripture, and to GROW in discernment. The book of Acts has the most examples of this gift in operation in the church.
As a child of God, in communion with the Holy Trinity, each one of us may be hearing, growing in discernment, and learning from God in every encounter in our lives.
I do not trust my own ability to hear God clearly, but I do trust God’s ability to guide my life.
Spending time in His word, examining my conscience daily, not forsaking the community of faith are essential. Rejecting sin, allowing life’s difficulties to prune my ego, pride, and other sins of the flesh are the work of each and every day.
The longer I linger on this earth, the more I recognize the finger of God in the lives of those that are not “like me.”
“I do not trust my own ability to hear God clearly, but I do trust God’s ability to guide my life.”
I very much resonate with this statement–TY for articulating it!
Setting aside questions of prophesy (i.e., authority, etc.), I get a sense that this IS a critical time. I think that many sense it.
He has done good work. He might be starting to believe his own P.R.
That would make him fall under Romans 1.
https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=romans%201&version=NIV
The Wikipedia page on him shows me someone that isn’t bouncing around or switching up things at a moments notice. I read his first book when it came out. He seemed like a man with a message like John the Baptist. REPENT.
I will say that I do not know the man’s heart, but I do know his message, and the fruit of his life that is visible publicly. And we are called to inspect fruit. Especially in the lives of those we allow to instruct us in the faith.
My question today is, what is this discussion about?
Is it about the value of a word of exhortation, correction or comfort? Is it about the style of presentation?
Or is it a theological discussion regarding the operation of the Holy Spirit and whether a person may speak as a prophet to the church in our world?

Well done!
They pissed it away over a decade ago as far as I am concerned. Can you say LIE WITH STATISTICS?
When ‘Trust in Media’ started slipping badly they changed how they reported trust.
They use a 5 point system sort of like this
Trust – somewhat Trust – neutral – Mostly do not trust – Do not trust at all.
Originally they reported just the numbers in ‘Trust’ when that started slipping below 50% they suddenly COMBINED Trust & somewhat Trust so they could report a higher number.
Technically you are correct here since you only specified a lower bound.
But it’s a bit like saying a neutron star weighs over a ton.
Actually, it weighs nothing.
Its mass, on the other hand …
True that.
This trips up better people than me, because we don’t have a verb meaning “to have mass”.
Weight->”x weighs 200 lbs”
But for mass:
Mass->”x _____ 100 kilograms”
There’s also no verb for “measure the mass of” either, though we have “weigh” for “measure the weight of”.
But in a crazy sense, the neutron star does have a weight…if something is on it. It pulls on that object with a certain force (very large for that object’s mass), but that object also pulls on the neutron star with the same force. Just as you can weigh the earth by simply flipping your bathroom scale over and standing on its underside. That’s the weight of the Earth in your gravitational field. Actually just leave it right side up; the scale measures both simultaneously by Newton’s third law (the one about actions and reactions).
Once can also view any part of the neutron star as “weighing” on any other part of it.
But yes – we need a verb for having mass. Maybe we can distort the meaning of the verb “to amass” in that weigh.

Because that family has the biggest amASSes around

Without USAID $$$ they can not pay the protestors. SorryAss isn’t going to actually cough up the money.
Now it’s clear. The fake news that George Soros moved all his money into his NGOs was a deception to cover up the USAID+multi-transfer switcheroo that was stealing tax dollars for leftism.
It looks like it. There is no way I would believe they would spend that much of THEIR Money when they could use OUR MONEY…
The question is now whether they will spend their own money now that they can’t spend ours.
How important is this to them?
At $400 – $1,000 per protester per day PLUS transportation, signs etc you are talking a LOT of money per protest.

Coyotes Are Smuggling Migrants Out of the United States
Great news. More of the same, please!
Slow Guy figures the US would be happy to see the illegals walk or drive across the border.
I’m missing sumthin.
I believe it’s because at this point the border is so secure, that people without “papers” can’t leave without risking getting dinged for being here illegally.
You know what?
Take their names (so we know never to let them back in on a visa) and let them continue. I’ve no interest in arresting them if they’re going away. It’s the ones who won’t go away, or committed some other crime while here, that I’d arrest.
Take their DNA to keep on file too.
Somewhere i read the feds have stated something like.
If so I’d have to change what I just wrote, about collecting their names on the way out so we’d know not to let them in.
Likely fear of getting dinged for new crimes while here or they need to hide their return for fear of being picked up back at their home.
I’m not sure, but I think the issue is that the government is keeping tabs on everyone. Those who do not self-deport and remain here illegally can one day be deported and never let back in. Those who voluntarily deport would have the opportunity to come back later.
I think some people want to fly under the radar and not be involved in either of those scenarios. And again I’m not sure, but I’m wondering if “checking in with the system” might involve being held in detention until deportation, which some people might want to avoid.
Don’t look at me, I’m not a coyote any longer.

Who suggested defunding the DC courts and just plain getting rid of them.
Uh … I’ve been in favor of eliminating the D.C. Circuit for about 3 years.
Ok, in so doing they’d end up under the jurisdiction of whatever circuit Maryland is in (most likely) [the fourth circuit, which also covers Virginia].
I wonder what sort of local court system DC has, or is it directly to federal judges?
I note that there is also a “Federal” circuit that gets used in “certain specialized areas of law.” [quoting wikipoo] Do you want to get rid of that as well? (I guess the correct answer depends on what the “certain specialized areas of law” means.)

NEW – RFK Jr. Sounds the Alarm on the Link Between the Federal Debt Crisis and America’s Chronic Disease Epidemic
“It’s existential. If you love our country, you got to take care of yourself.”
HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. laid out a chilling connection today in Martinsburg, West Virginia, tying the nation’s exploding federal debt to the chronic disease crisis in a speech that hit hard.
Here is @SecKennedy dropping truth bombs:
“Within about ten years, if we continue on this trajectory, 50 cents out of every tax dollar that we——that you pay to the federal government, is going to go to servicing the debt.”
“Within 15 years, 100%.”
“It’s not sustainable. It’s existential.”
“If you love our country, you got to take care of yourself.”
“President Trump said that he wants to make America healthy again. He wants to make it strong again.”
“We cannot have a strong country if we have sick citizens.”
“President Trump says that he wants to restore the American dream. But a person who is healthy has a thousand dreams. A person who is sick only has only one.”
“And there is 60% of our country now that has only one dream, which is to get better.”
“And we need to give them a pathway to doing that.”

History is running in reverse. So it’s possible a new Bolivar emerges. And this time, he could be successful.
The century is still young, but I think the next Bolivar may be @nayibbukele. Because he didn’t simply inherit a functional state. He built it from scratch.
And he did it without budget, without track record, in the most inhospitable environment you could imagine.
So, even as praised as he is, President Bukele is still underrated.
I mean, everyone is talking about state capacity, but El Salvador presents the most important case study in the Western Hemisphere. A model for achieving peace and unity in a multi-ethnic country after decades of civil strife. A model that could be important.

Wolf, you posted this a few days back on your X feed. I read it, and it sounds stunningly smart. Cross reference voter rolls to property records. But the self-promoting tone of these guys is sort of off-putting.
They do prove the problem. They do offer a solution. But instead, how about totally getting rid of mail-in ballots.
That answer crushes this issue without depending on tech that people can’t touch, see, smell, or feel.
https://omega4america.substack.com/p/voter-id-does-nothing-to-stop-election
Excerpt:
The other day DOGE or some organization was comparing voter rolls to federal databases that include “American citizen”. May have been SS or the like.
Should help erase illegal AND Dead voters.
Yes.
Also – having control of the Dept. of Injustice will scare off a lot of the cheating if they start making some examples and publicize it.
The major problem the cheaters have is matching the physical presence of illegal invaders with fake ID’s and registrations. With the massive deportations they lose a lot of their leverage since the majority of invaders have been in blue states and cities.
The major issues are mail-in and drop boxes tied to using the illegals, non-existent people, and using the ID’s of those who do not vote themselves. Sort of like the fake donations in Act Blue.
Clamping down on the SS and Medicare rolls theft rackets removes the older generation Americans from their cheating data bases.
Bondi and Kash must send Hobbs and Griswold to prison. Until Demmunists who fear only prison, and not God, get prison when caught, will they even think about not cheating.
It’s a twofer, because any DOJ or FIB who defend the cheaters can be fired for cause.
I just love it when you talk dirty like that.
LOL!!!
I have been listening to the videos at: https://rumble.com/user/Omega4America/videos
I think we need to do both.
Get rid of mail-in ballots AND CLEAN the darn voter rolls. AND ALSO HAVE ONE DAY VOTING!
If you just get rid of mail-in ballots you get what we had here in NC in 2016, where 50% of the counties had MORE VOTES than live adult bodies.
NYC, for example, was notorious for having buses full of ‘voters’ going from polling place to polling place. You can still do that with dirty voter roles. Heck you can just have boxes of ballots in place all ready filled out and ready to slide into place of valid ballots if Chain of Custody is not carefully observed.
The DemonRats have a multitude of methods up their sleeves.
I just had a thought. This is me spitballing/bjrainstorming. If there’s something wrong with this idea I actually WANT to hear about it.
Mail ballots out but require they be hand delivered by the voter, check their ID, cross them off in the book as having voted. That shortens the chain of custody considerably AND makes them prove their identity before casting a vote. We can even have the voter put the ballot in the ballot box. It seems to me all we are doing with this suggestion is letting him fill the ballot out at home rather than at the polling place.
Anyhow, throw rocks at it if you see a flaw. please.
Aren’t most people using the mail in ballot because they don’t want to go to the polling place? That’s why my elderly Mom and elderly MIL use them.
Yes. What this scheme would save them is the time spent standing in line while people ahead of you fill out a long ballot.
You can also have curbside hand-in like we have for the elderly at my poling place.
That leaves the bedridden and military as the only ones not required to show up.
Do they check an ID at this curbside handin?
If so it becomes functionally equivalent to my suggestion, if anyone were allowed to use it.
As I said this is me spitballing/brainstorming; if there’s something truly wrong with the idea I am hoping someone brings it up.
There is certainly something to be said for requiring able-bodied people to put some effort into voting.
In NC you had to show an ID to vote, so yes.
People can also have drive-up ID and exterior ballot confirmation BEFORE they drive up further to the collection box and deposit it themselves.
You could use a ballot collection box similar to a post office drive up box with a shoot.
Seems they are changing them.
https://www.al.com/news/2023/10/your-post-offices-blue-collection-box-may-be-going-away-heres-why.html
The main [initial] problem is chain-of-custody. If you mail a ballot, you are allowing an unknown number of anonymous persons to have temporary custody of your ballot.
This makes that voting scheme unreliable, along with the results.
Yes…If I mail my ballot in that’s an issue. If I hand deliver it to an actual office of the County Clerk and Recorder [not a drop box!] (which I will do at a bare minimum–remember that Colorado mails ballots to everyone and has done so for years), the chain of custody is shortened; in fact it’s exactly as long as it is with in-person voting at polling places. It doesn’t guarantee that someone else won’t vote a different ballot in my name, though. Requiring hand delivery with ID, on the other hand would plug that hole; you’ve basically forced the guy carrying the ballot to prove he’s the rightful “owner” of the ballot, and there is no more chain of custody than there is if he had filled the ballot in right there.
Now there is a longer chain of custody in getting the blank ballot in front of the voter (since it would be mailed to the voter), but is this actually a problem? I’m asking in earnest. This is fundamentally a security issue and one always has people look over one’s proposed solutions in case they see a hack you didn’t see.
I like it. I think it will work. It will certainly help. But I think there are even more problems with chain of custody. IMO they must be put into the box by the voter, NOT by any poll workers.
When I handed in our absentee ballots at a curbside box here, not only were our IDs not checked, I observed our ballots being SWITCHED for others, by the Demmunists manning the collection site. The distance from the box was being used to hide the switcheroo. Somebody came to the car to retrieve them. I was watching with eagle eyes for a gimmick, and spotted it. They had a good scam going, to swap out ballots and sub in others. It was an MITM (man in the middle) attack.
OK, I even made actual delivery to the ballot box by the voter an option, and you’ve made it clear I should have made it part of the suggestion.
Yes that would require him to get his hindquarters out of his car, which for an able-bodied person would IMHO be a good thing. (If you’re able-bodied and can’t be bothered to get out of your car, maybe you shouldn’t be voting. This isn’t the Mickey Dee’s drive thru.)
Good grief, voter fraud evil truly never sleeps!
I like the idea of being able to fill everything out before I arrive. And having everyone else do it would speed up the process to some degree.
The main rock is that good people often never see their ballot. The next rock is that fake IDs are way too easy to pair with a fake ballot.
For rock #1, you need a remedy for people that don’t get their ballot that doesn’t open other doors to vote theft.
For rock #2, other nations require a national verified voter id paired with a single day of voting.
Then let’s call it rock #3, the funny business with the voter rolls has to be dealt with. Omega’s tech can tell you the invalid voters by address cross-checks, but what about the way the rolls change EVEN AFTER THE ELECTION IS DONE. Audits and Federal enforcement are going to be needed.
Absolutely have to have enforcement. The fraud was found but the courts tossed most of the cases based on STANDING.
Every single citizen, by BEING a citizen MUST BE CONSIDERED TO HAVE STANDING PERIOD! All elections effect everyone of us, even local elections in another state can have future consequences if the grifter advances up the political ladder to state and then federal office.

Barry Goldwater, 1964
My dad loved Barry Goldwater. He told me in 2015, when I was soooo excited about Donald Trump, “find that Goldwater book in the attic, read it and then learn what they did to him, I was never so mad; it’s good to be excited but always put your trust in the Lord”
If I were to mention Goldwater to him today, he would shake his head and be angry still.
You come from good stock.
My very old-school-liberal mom voted for Goldwater.
She may not have liked his politics much, but she knew Johnson was corrupt and that was harder for her to stomach.

Good point. They’ll be plenty of other vids and pictures of the President that we can use to compare.
Also apropos of nothing in particular. Since Flat Earthers have nothing in particular to stand on.
A Flat Earther who comes here every once in a while tried to argue that direct flights between Australia, South Africa and South America do not exist. (That would make sense if the Gleason’s Map were true.) Listings were found and presented to him by (IIRC) Wolfmoon.
Not only is there a Sydney to Santiago flight (and return flight) non stop, but one of the participants (Critical Think, who did the experiments with the scale) in The Final Experiment took that flight, and livestreamed himself getting onto and off of the flight from Santiago to Sydney in order to prove it was only 13 and a half hours long.
The latest desperation from the Flat Earthers is that the jet stream gives a speed boost to the aircraft, so it can go almost directly across the disk in the time allotted. Well, lets assume the jet stream is actually fast enough to do this (it isn’t; it’s fast but the distance to be made up would be enormous). It ONLY operates west to east. Santiago to Sydney is east to west and should have had to fight a jet stream headwind.
In fact it does in the real world have to fight a headwind. Generally the Santiago-to-Sydney flight is 1 1/2 to 2 hours longer than the Sydney to Santiago flight. Still, that’s a reasonable flight time if we are on a globe, and impossible (regardless of jetstream helping or hindering) on the Gleason’s Flat Earth.
Excellent! Yes, that was me who found the flights across the South Pacific.
BTW, I’ve seen similar arguments by Lorentzian neo-etherists that two-way light speeds are fundamentally problematic in excluding an ether because of headwind/tailwind averaging. Cyclic ether motion also seems relevant to the dark matter and energy questions as well. Interesting possibilities.
Yes. In fact, Will Duffy (Mr. ‘the final experiment’) is a YEC (but not fully committed to it), and has raised this very argument. Also you will find it on the “dialect” YouTube channel [which is excellent for qualitatively explaining tensors and space time curvature, BTW]. In essence the claim is that we have never measured anything but a round-distance trip time for light; therefore we are making an assumption that the speed is the same in both directions. Duffy uses this to argue that perhaps the light from distant stars got here instantaneously (one direction of travel). [He doesn’t dispute the distances.] The problem with that argument is that it’s quite a coincidence that light just so happens to travel with infinite speed toward the earth but with a much slower speed away from the earth no matter where you are in the universe. That puts us in a very special place (the end of all vectors along which light travels at infinite speed).
YES! I totally agree with that argument. The loss of specialness is the forward direction of science, bluntly. Arguments to the contrary need higher proof, IMO.
Also, that level of difference in light speeds seems neither physically rooted nor plausible, and I would go further and say it seems unlikely that such a difference would be without physically observable effects in other phenomena, right here on Earth. Small differences, on the order of real stellar and galactic velocities, seem quite reasonable, and could still have interesting effects.
Indeed. Here’s my favorite speculation in that direction. There is supposedly no “fixed” reference frame, one where you can say you’re standing still in an absolute sense. That goes all the way back to Galilean relativity.
When we measure the cosmic microwave background, it’s proclaimed to be very, very uniform. But that’s after we remove a dipole–in one direction of the sky the wavelength is shorter (more energetic), in the opposite direction, it’s longer (less energetic). This is actually factored out before people write the popularizations about how uniform the CMB is, because it’s interpreted as due to our speed of motion, both in orbit around the center of our galaxy, and the direction of the galaxy’s motion towards some supercluster. Since the dipole is due to us moving, we can factor it out and ignore it, since we want to see patterns in the actual microwave background.
But that does give us a candidate “absolute” reference frame: the one in which the CMB shows no dipole. I would look there for a frame in which light speed might differ in one direction or another, depending on the motion of the source of light against the CMB.
Standard disclaimer, I am a non-astrophysicist talking out of his ass. I’d love to hear what an astrophysicist would have to say about this.
As for the “Cosmological principle” (i.e., the principle that we’re not in a special place) there is some speculation that we might be in a relatively empty part of the universe as a whole (we’re talking granularities of a billion light years or so). Others complain that this would violate the principle and I disagree; we’re allowed to be somewhat off average. In fact we already are; we’re in a galaxy rather than out in the void, and most of the universe is void. Only when we average things out at a very coarse granularity can we even hope to claim we’re in an “average” location.
granularity is awfully close to granular so I’m getting SD PTSD
LOL but in this case I’m referencing the general matter distribution of the universe. If you look at a sphere centered on us, 50 million light years across, it looks lumpy, because everything is clumped into galaxies. Zoom out a bit and you can’t see the galaxies, but the clusters of galaxies make it look lumpy. Zoom out further and it looks reasonably evenly spread out, every bit of what you can see seems to have the same numbers of filaments (consisting of galactic clusters) in it.
The “granularity” refers to how much you zoom in or out.
TY

Who is this “Brennan Center” and why are they always fighting to keep the current cheat-friendly systems in place?
Trump’s executive order and the SAVE Act simply add teeth to current prohibitions on noncitizens voting.
https://thefederalist.com/2025/03/27/21-million-voters-cant-provide-proof-of-citizenship-making-the-save-act-even-more-necessary/
The left-wing Brennan Center for Justice claimed that more than 20 million Americans “lack ready access” to proof of citizenship documents. What’s more, the group asserted that survey data shows nearly 4 million Americans “don’t have these documents at all.”
The Brennan Center apparently relied on the honor system when performing its survey, so it’s not clear that the respondents are even American citizens — as is often the case with the current voter registration system. But even if they are citizens, failing to require proof of citizenship still poses a threat to the integrity of U.S. elections. Yet the left and the propaganda press oppose the SAVE Act because they claim Americans are essentially too lazy to get their citizenship documents in order.
President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Tuesday to promote election integrity. Among the provisions is a mandate that prospective voters provide proof of citizenship in order to register to vote. Some examples of acceptable proof of citizenship include a United States passport, a REAL ID that indicates citizenship, a military identification card, and a valid state or federal government-issued identification.
In line with the lawfare that has plagued Trump’s second term already, the left-wing group “ActionLink” said that while Trump’s executive order is “going to be challenged in court,” the SAVE Act “does much of the same thing” and therefore must be opposed.
The Safeguarding American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act would require in-person voter registration and documentary proof of citizenship in order to register to vote. While it’s already technically illegal for noncitizens to register to vote — and vote — current law is largely toothless. The only thing standing between a noncitizen and voting is a small square box on the federal voter registration form that requires an applicant to attest that he is telling the truth about his citizenship status under penalty of perjury. In other words, the only thing preventing a noncitizen from registering to vote is the honor system.
Just this past October, a Chinese college student who is not a U.S. citizen allegedly cast a vote illegally that was counted in the final total. The 19-year-old registered to vote, having “signed a document identifying himself as a U.S. citizen,” according to The Detroit News. While noncitizen voting is illegal, the student’s vote still counted because ballots are secret. Once a vote is cast and run through a tabulator, it becomes impossible to identify who cast the ballot (and therefore impossible to know which vote to remove). Noncitizens have also voted in Georgia, Ohio, and other states.
According to the Brennan Center, approximately 21.3 million persons living in America of voting age do not “have proof of citizenship readily available” — some say it’s locked away in a family member’s home or a safety deposit box. Of the 21.3 million, 3.8 million supposedly have no proof at all because it’s been “lost, destroyed, or stolen.”
But the Brennan Center’s data only underscores the necessity of the SAVE Act. The Brennan Center has no way of actually knowing whether these 21.3 million self-described “Americans” are actually American. In order to be called “American,” you need to first be a citizen — but if they lack citizenship documents, that means the Brennan Center simply relied on word of mouth — meaning even the survey wasn’t protected from possible noncitizens falsely claiming to be citizens.
That’s exactly why Republicans are trying to pass the SAVE Act.
If passed, it “will stand a better chance of being upheld in court than [Trump’s] executive order,” ActionLink said in a statement. It also means elections would be safeguarded against fraud and foreign election interference.
As such, leftists are now calling on their foot soldiers to urge their representatives to fight the legislation.
“Take action now!” ActionLink says. “Our friends at Nonprofit Vote put together a call to action to tell Congress to vote ‘NO’ on the SAVE Act, which is expected to come up for a vote in the House of Representatives next week.”
ActionLink also spreads the insulting and unsubstantiated claim that a married woman who has taken her husband’s name will have issues registering to vote. This ridiculous claim was parroted by the AZ Mirror.
“The SAVE Act would require birth certificates that match current names, creating hurdles for name-changers” like “married women,” Pinny Sheoran writes. But women are not stupid. As Cleta Mitchell, senior legal fellow at the Conservative Partnership Institute, told The Federalist, “When women change their names upon marriage (or divorce) there is a process for changing/updating name from birth certificate or a prior marriage.”
“Millions of women do it every day so they can operate their lives under their married names,” Mitchell told The Federalist.
Meanwhile the Brennan Center says the SAVE Act, if passed, would “become the first voter suppression law enacted by [Congress] in recent memory, and perhaps ever.” Like ActionLink, the Brennan Center says the legislation would “disenfranchise millions of American citizens” who lack immediate access to citizenship documentation.
NBC News, citing “election officials and advocates,” said the act would “still disenfranchise many eligible voters who do not have ready access to these documents,” while NPR said that “obtaining these documents takes time and money” and could reduce voter turnout. But laziness is no excuse for compromising election security. In fact, it’s almost insulting that leftists rest their argument on the claim that Americans are incapable of obtaining basic documentation.
The left likes to pretend that it supports prohibitions on noncitizen voting. Michigan’s Democrat Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson said as much in a video denouncing the SAVE Act: “They are trying to take something that we all agree on — that only U.S. citizens should vote in U.S. elections — and use that to make it harder for millions of eligible citizens to cast their vote.”
Trump’s executive order and the SAVE Act simply add teeth to current prohibitions on noncitizens voting. If Benson and the rest of the left agree that only U.S. citizens should vote, why all the opposition? Wouldn’t they want to know whether, for example, 21.3 million voting-age people in America are actually citizens and eligible to vote?

can they do anything about Motor/Voter laws? that’s a big fraud. they give driver’s license to illegals and automatically register them to vote.
I was thinking the same. It used to be you had to show citizenship to get a driver’s licence so your driver’s licence served as proof of citizenship. NOW they are complaining that they mucked that up. (At 16 it is a LOT easier to prove citizenship than it is at age 82!)
PURPOSELY mucked it up!
OF COURSE!
they do this so that later they can come back and say–wow we were wrong about this–trying to get you believe it was a mistake instead of an EVIL PLAN all along.
Pre-necessity alibi preparation.
I don’t know what state ever required proof of citizenship to get a driver license. Certainly no state that gave me a license. The only proof of I.D. that I needed in California in 1968 was a draft card.
I had to show certified copies of birth certificates at multiple junctures in my life, in multiple states. First passport, too, IIRC. They sometimes demanded fresh copies. I have a slew of copies, guarded like THE PRECIOUS.
Provided that “precious” passports and DLs and such are OK, and BCs are made/kept easy to get certified copies, I’m not sure why we can’t make Demmunist cheating harder.
By the way, even an expired passport is proof of identity (and presumably of citizenship) provided your photo is still recognizably you and hasn’t magically transformed itself into the photograph of a kid (while you still look the same, ha. ha. ha). You just can’t travel out of country with it.
TX
Proof of U.S. Citizenship or Lawful Presence (if not a U.S. Citizen)
Proof of Texas Residency
Proof of Identity
Social Security Number
Evidence of current Texas Vehicle Registration for each vehicle you own.
If they pass that fed law, then geezers like me will likely be unable to prove citizenship. Despite a voting record that goes back several decades.
BTW, a valid drivers license has nothing to do with citizenship and it never did. Neither does a military ID.
There has to be staggered dates of applicability. If someone has voted for 10 years, that person should be presumed to be a citizen who can vote. They can still be checked, and they should be. I can recite the important milestones of my genealogy – I just can’t prove them.
Let me ask 3 questions:
1) Were you born in the United States?
2) Can you obtain a certified copy of your birth certificate?
3) Is the certified copy of your birth certificate useful to establish US citizenship?
Exactly.
Number 2 is doubtful. I tried once before and got zero response.
side issue: since I was legally adopted, is my adoptive father or my natural father the one I should list?
… is my adoptive father or my natural father the one I should list?
That is a good question. As my parents would say, I don’t have the foggiest idea.
Sometimes the building holding the certificates burns down. That happened to a friend that was applying to join the Army. In the sorting out from that was when she discovered a whole bunch of funny business with the family history and who she was, v.s. who she had been told she was. Someone the Army figured out enough to accept her in. It’s worked out very well for her.
School records, baptismal certificates, military records, employment records, healthcare records, sometimes are used to collaborate. Social Security has to use that kind of documentation for some people.
I think your adoptive father is your legal father.
My mom was adopted & it was kept secret. Her birth certificate was amended upon adoption & showed her adoptive parents as her parents.
After her mom died & her dad was incapacitated she allowed me to pursue inquiries about her birth family & obtained her original birth certificate to assist in the search. Apparently there were either 2 forms of the original birth certificate or 2 different ways that the info could be released to her. The bureaucrat tried to get her to accept the lesser info form but she asked for the one with all the info on it. That birth cert not only listed her birth father’s name it had his signature on it as well.
Some years later we met her birth father’s surviving siblings, he was already deceased, as was her birth mother. Anyway, Mom brought that original birth certificate with us to that event & her birth dad’s signature was about the only thing that convinced his sister that he’d had a child out of wedlock as a teenager & had kept that info from her for his entire life.
That birth father’s signature was also what convinced one of Mom’s half sisters that they were indeed siblings.
Mom was able to obtain the original birth certificate because when she was born the law governing access to original records allowed for the birth mom to keep the info hidden or let it become known. Mom’s birth mother had not opted for the info to be hidden so Mom was able to get the original birth certificate. If her birth mom had chosen differently it’s possible there wouldn’t have been enough clues for me to follow, though maybe a PI or genealogist could have figured something out, to find the birth families eventually.
Basically adoption makes this a complicated business. However if your adoptive parents are American citizens you probably fell under their citizenship too, at least at some point, depending on governing laws at the time & location. Perhaps Aubergine has insight on this as well…
Minor nit on 3): for naturalized citizens, the birth certificate alone won’t do this, but that plus a naturalization certificate (or whatever the right name for the paperwork is), will. And that should be allowed.
Thinking of FG&C, he is missed —
yes he is. i must missed why he is gone again. ???
I figured he was just doing flights.
All I remember was a bit of a tiff between FG&C and another commenter.
i must have missed that. I hope you’re right and it is just him taking flights!
He’s an overly sensitive sort sometimes.

There were several of those, but I am certain that it was my warning not to post AI thinking without declaring it openly that got his attention.
I’m not an enemy of AI, any more than I am an enemy of humanity, which I am not. But IMO the use of AI without citation to argue points on this board is antithetical to our purpose, and comparable to plagiarism. We are here to escape AI influence bots. Period. No terminators allowed through the door.
I will not use Apple Intelligence until I can turn off immoral features that do things like “improving” my writing. Same thinking. I want AI to help me by my own standards – not to “be me” and drag me toward the “great averaging” which is a bad outcome of AI, IMO.
AI can be a tool of free and honest morality, or of corrupt and lying socialist morality.
I wondered if he got in trouble for using AI without attribution?
He has not posted (as far as I have seen) since Wolf replied to his post, which contained what Wolf called “BS AI”, with his new, “No BS AI” rule.
TY GT for I don’t think I’d seen FG&C since then either so didn’t know if he got banned or was taking a hiatus in some type of a snit (potentially). It was nice having him back commenting even if he’d get pugnacious periodically.
Is that for Real???

Wish-casting.
That all he needs to say, and that’s all I hear when his lips are moving.
Your observation caused me to LMAO!!! Excellent work.
On sheer points of political strategy he’s sometimes worth listening to.
Sometimes.
Memorial Day is before April Fool’s day?
Or is that the whole point of quoting him? I gather he’s admitting he was wrong about something else.
He is talking about DJT doing a crash and burn. Carville thought it would happen before Memorial Day, but in his opinion it is happening now, before April 1st.
Sure nailed the Disney movie trend.

Enjoy prison Aubrey!
I’ve been watching you!
Go Trump go! This is what counts. The person who hides behind anonymous accounts. (And @elonmusk I told you so.)
AUSTIN, Texas – The Department of Justice announced the unsealing of charges against Canadian national Aubrey Cottle, 37, of Oshawa, Ontario, in connection with the theft of data relating to the Texas Republican Party in 2021.
Canadian authorities arrested Cottle on Wednesday and are pursuing charges under Canadian law. A criminal complaint filed in the Western District of Texas alleges Cottle gained unauthorized access to a third-party hosting company’s computer system to deface and download a backup of Texas Republican Party’s web server, which contained personal identifying information.
The information was distributed and made available for download online.
Cottle allegedly claimed responsibility for the attack on social media.
A search of Cottle’s electronic devices revealed he was in possession of the data stolen from the Texas Republican Party. Cottle has been charged with unlawfully transferring, possessing, or using a means of identification with the intent to commit, or aid or abet, or in connection with, unlawful activity under state or federal law. If convicted, he faces a maximum penalty of five years in prison.
Acting U.S. Attorney Margaret Leachman for the Western District of Texas made the announcement. The FBI Austin Cyber Task Force is investigating the case, with valuable assistance from the Ontario Provincial Police and the Durham Regional Police Service.

This is the same scumbag who hacked and doxxed the Canadian trucker protest’s GiveSendGo fundraiser. Hope he gets a one way ticket to an El Salvadoran prison or Gitmo.

I thought Canada was not dealing with us any longer. Something about taking its tariff ping pong ball and muttering while going in the house.
Apparently she violated a Canadian law, one that Canadians actually care about.
PDJT met with Canadian PM late last week and they announced that everything is wonderful and cozy now.

Maybe the better way is to deprive the Circuits of jurisdiction over nationwide injunctions UNLESS they take them en banc.
That forces the Circuits to discipline the district judges because of the toll it would exact on the Circuits.
Margot Cleveland
@ProfMJCleveland
“Potential” brainstorm: Just remembered while SCOTUS now has near complete discretion over appeals it takes, previously some had to be heard. So, statute requiring SCOTUS to hear expedited appeal in any case w/ nationwide injunction entered against federal government. Solution?
3:32 PM · Mar 29, 2025
Nope. Would need an amendment IMO.
OK…let’s say we could actually pass such an amendment.
Should we, or is it a bad idea (in addition to being nearly impossible)?
Right now, SCOTUS has exclusive jurisdiction over state vs state disputes.
Yet they denied standing to a sovereign state [Texas] that sued another sovereign state [Pennsylvania].
So to my way of thinking, it would do nothing.
OK I’m a bit confused here. The original suggestion was to require that SCOTUS hear cases involving someone appealing a nationwide injunction from a circuit court (or even lower level). That has nothing to do with states suing other states.
I agree you’d probably need an amendment in order to require them to hear such cases (said amendment would have to prohibit denying cert). The question I’m trying to ask is whether the system would function better if such an amendment were to be passed.

Thank you, Bakocarl!
This verse comes to mind – Hebrews 1:6-7 – which says GOD makes his angels ministers and a flame of fire.
“6 And again, when he brings the firstborn into the world, he says, “Let all God ‘s angels worship him.”
7 Of the angels he says, “He makes his angels winds, and his ministers a flame of fire.”
“The book of Hebrews was written to explain the gospel of God’s grace to born-again Hebrew believers. The writer wants to show that salvation in Jesus Christ is far superior to the Hebrew religious system. First-century Jews revered the ancient prophets and angels, some to the point of worshiping them (Colossians 2:18), so the author of Hebrews begins by establishing the superiority of Jesus Christ over the prophets (Hebrews 1:1–3) and angels (Hebrews 1:4–14).”

A curiosity about the DC District Court’s judges
By John M. Contino
As Beth Brelje recently reported in The Federalist,
The recently infamous James Boasberg, chief judge of the D.C. District Court, is one of the 15 principal judges on that court. There are an additional 10 older, senior judges who occasionally hear cases, all of whom were born in the U.S.
This seeding of foreign-born judges to the D.C. court is another “transformational innovation” that can be traced back to Barack Obama, who in 2014 appointed Judge Tanya Sue Churkan, born in Kingston, Jamaica. “Before sitting on federal court, she had no experience as a judge. Chutkan is overseeing the legal challenge to DOGE’s work to slash excess government spending.”
Joe Biden picked up where Obama left off when he nominated Judge Ana Cecilia Reyes, born in Montevideo, Uruguay, yet another appointee with no prior experience as a judge.
Judge Amir Hatem Mahdy Ali was born in Canada to Egyptian parents. Educated in Canada, he earned a law degree from Harvard Law School in 2011 and became a citizen in 2019. Ali worked for the Biden campaign and nonprofits “but never served as a judge until Biden appointed him in 2024.”
Before slipping out the back door, Biden (or his autopen?) got Judge Sparkle Sooknanan confirmed on Jan. 2, 2025. She was born in Trinidad and Tobago in 1983, came to the U.S. in 1999, and earned a law degree from Brooklyn Law School in 2010.

There’s nothing inherently wrong with appointing a foreign-born judge, but someone not born and raised in the U.S. may have less regard for traditional American values than a native-born individual. In any case, it’s obvious that these five judges were chosen for their ideological purity, certainly not their wealth of experience and reputations as actual judges.
There’s a lot riding on how Chief Justice Roberts will act, or fail to act, in the coming months — not only for his legacy, but for the integrity of the constitutional republic in which we are reputed to reside. Let’s hope he “gets his mind right,” so to speak.
https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2025/03/a_curiosity_about_the_dc_district_court_s_judges.html
“There’s nothing inherently wrong with appointing a foreign-born judge…”
Yes, there is.
I will never be convinced that anyone who was not a native-born American citizen should have any legal authority over those who are. I’m sure there are plenty of non-native people living here who are great; Elon Musk is a prime example. But he works under President Trump’s authority. I would NOT support him having authority over us on his own.
Culturally, America is UNIQUE in the world. People not born and raised here by American parents will in many cases never understand the American way of thinking.
Perfectly stated.
With over 300 million people I see no reason to have non US born citizens in law enforcement of any type or in the judiciary.
This!
Thanks!
Absolutely. 100%. Roughly the same for police hiring those not loyal to U.S. or God firbid illegals.
Amen!
well said!!
I am showing my ignorance but I was under the impression that judges have gone to law school and have a thorough understanding of our laws. it doesn’t sound like these people do.
I really would be surprised if anyone had a thorough understanding of our laws!
So would I.
But there are underlying principles that presumably any law school graduate would understand…heck any one who took a civics class but that’s ANOTHER complaint.
Alas even if they understand them, they may not agree with them.
The flaw in your logic is that pleny of people who WERE born and raised here by American parents also will never understand the American way of thinking.
I would love to have a test for “does this person understand the American way of thinking” but “were they born here” is not it. As you’ve conceded it creates false negatives by rejecting good immigrants, but it also creates false positives.
Even leftists who are born and raised in the U.S. think differently than people who are not raised here.
I contend that pretty much all Americans are so spoiled we don’t know we are. We have an abundance of wealth; the poorest American can’t conceive of the poverty of India, Somalia, or even China. We have free speech like nowhere else in the world; leftists pretend they want censorship, but they don’t even really know what that means.
Even the worst American is more American than some judge born and raised in Haiti or India.
The poorest Americans can’t even conceive of the poverty of Portugal.
Hear, Hear!
D.C. Circuit should be abolished. There is zero need for it.
It’s being used as a political ladder.
Candace Owen is at is again, this time against RFK, Jr. She says he is blackmailed because of his past. Whatever.
Owen is a grifting, click-bait liar. I know that for certain, after her b.s. about Kamala Harris’s grandmother not being the person she said. I was able to debunk that in about an hour of actual genealogical research. But she beat on that horse for all she was worth for weeks. And it was NONSENSE.
Believe the crap coming out of her moronic mouth at your peril.
I have seen other stuff about Candace that makes me think she is very much Controlled Op.
^^^ This. Controlled op.
Maybe “(s)he is blackmailed because of [her] past,” to paraphrase our resident Purple Peach.
She’s something.
SALLY Q
UPDATE
Sally is no longer reliable, able to concentrate on keeping her arms down on the ceiling track lift and so she slips out of it.
This may also be due to medication and to her emotional mental state and attitude.
Over the years, with her caregiver, me and her father, she has slipped out of the lift. Most of the time it has been because of unpredictable episodes of histrionics. When she has fallen out, sometimes thankfully she was not injured. She has fallen onto the toilet, onto the floor.
The worst injury was when she slid out of the wheelchair when she reared back like a toddler having a tantrum, and slid out of the wheelchair, down the leg rests lined with pillows, twisting her legs behind her, breaking both femurs. She was in the hospital a couple of weeks, aggravating her heart and diabetic conditions and ended up with a pacemaker.
To try to prevent falls, I made a belt that goes around the chest part of the frame with arm bands that would keep her arms from lifting and keep her in the frame. It would work fine, but with her sedation, and her temper, unreasonableness, irritability, hostility, lack of cooperation, it’s been impossible to get her arms in position in the frame and put the belt and arm bands in place.
It looks like it’s time to switch to a sling and hospital bed part time at least. We need to schedule maintenance on the lift motor anyway, so we will get the technician (who lives in a nearby town) to come as soon as he can. (I wrote him – and he’s coming this week)
Last night, she woke up crying only 3 hours after a pain medicine dose. Then was crying 5 hours later needing another dose. I had been trying to prevent pain giving medication every 5 hours. That may not be enough. Our current Rx allows 2 hydrocodene pills and a sedative every 4 hours, which heretofore, I have not given. I tried 1-1/2 hydrocodone and she got a flushed face, so I didn’t give that higher dose again and the flushing went away.
When she feels pretty good, she is still difficult – refusing food, acting haughty and contemptuous, hostile, hysterical – her behavior is unpredictable and she can be totally irrational, screaming loudly without a reason. For decades, there’s been no winning or workable longterm solution for the outrageous behavior.
Only recently, have we seen research studies attributing the behavior to the degeneration of the cerebellum in this disease.

You gave up your authority my sweet dear
I gave you calming music you listen not
You let ‘it’ control you and you got caught
There is no medicine that can cure ‘it’
There is no formula than can detour ‘it’
I gave you the power to stop this attack
I gave you the means to pick up the slack
Exercise, breathing, and thought control
All of these will again make you whole
Emotional turmoil blocks rational thought
Eliminate it and you will be as you ought
Change your attitude change your life
Positive thinking diminishes strife
Movement replaces emotional confusion
All of ‘it’ is actually an illusion
You can take control and beat your distress
By changing your thoughts eliminate stress
By exercising you switch your concentration
Your physical movement serves as activation
Your shiver and shake ceases to be
Your uncertainty dissolves instantly
Your mind directs your body to move
And your anxiety begins to improve
God gave us the ability to heal mind body spirit
We just need to learn how to clear it not fear it
The body does what the mind commands
It moves it rests it contracts it expands
So it is with emotions as well with control
Our thoughts can trigger disconnect or cajole
Our attitude plays a part in this scenario as well
It is where we decide we are going to dwell
Negative thinking brings about negative outcomes
The opposite is true and to what it succumbs
When we take authority of events in life
We eliminate the stress and the strife
Whatever the problem or issue that disturbs you
It is nothing you and God together cannot subdue
When God enters the situation the solution is clear
You will have eyes to see and ears to hear
So Settle Me, Lord as only You can
Help me to see and perfect Your plan
Take away the illusion of ‘it’
Cleanse me from all and every bit

LET GO AND LET GOD
From where did this concept come
Made up to release us say some
From what are we excused
How are we to be recused
If we can do nothing without God
Then letting go would be flawed
Truth be told on your own power
Eternal value will not flower
Are we so bold as to take credit
From He whose Spirit led it
Can we bring forth fruit from effort
Is it possible to accomplish befort
Letting go does not mean sitting back
Allowing God to take up the slack
Acknowledging His power to ease
Waiting for God to appease
If apart from Him we can do nothing
Then how do we accomplish something
We claim we are doing it for Him
How empty is this thoughtless whim
If we lean not on our own understanding
We open up to God’s mind-expanding
If we trust in God with all of our heart
Then we acknowledge Him from the start
We see His part in all of our ways
We need Him for all of our days
For without Him we will surely fail
In all we try we are beyond the pale
So what then are we letting go
Are we letting God manage the show
The struggle the strife of the fight
Are we attempting to take flight
If we are his hands and feet on earth
Are we missing the point of our worth
Can we operate alone in tact
Then go to God after the fact
So is letting God and letting go
Mean we play no part in the show
How can His kingdom ever come
If we let go before the job is done
What is it God wants us to do
What job has God given to you
What is it He commands
What is it God demands
Has He ever said you are on your own
I am here if you need Me on My throne
No He said Follow Me
And Be the Best you can be
Love Me with Mind, Heart, and Soul
Love your neighbor and be whole
Nothing is impossible for Me
Trust in Me and you will see
Let go of your arrogance and pride
Let Me live and in you abide
My Spirit will guide you throughout
Show you what My will is all about
So let go and let Me show you the way
The truth and the light when you pray
Acknowledge Me in all that you do
Allow Me the pleasure of seeing you thru

GA/FL
Thank you for the update.
Your update, and your Novena, are so deep and heartfelt.
Hydrocodone is powerful stuff.
Changing to a hospital bed and a sling sounds like a good idea.
Please, please, take care of yourself. Getting a decent amount of sleep is so important. I don’t know how this can be arranged for you now that Sally Q’s pain medication condition has changed.
Has the Hospice case manager or Charge Nurse arranged for a sympathetic pastoral counselor / Chaplain?
Does Sally Q listen to music? Could she listen to quietly-played, relaxing music?
You are an amazing person, with all the work you’ve done over the years for Sally Q. I, personally, have learned much from you.
Sending Deep Courage to you and also to Sally Q’s father.
Suggest changing from hydrocodone to oxycodone.
oh GA!
this has got to be difficult for you. You have the patience of a saint!
I keep you and Sally in my prayers and always will!!!
May God give you the strength, peace, wisdom, & comfort to endure to the end. May He reach into Sally’s heart with light, love, & life. God be with YOU!
EACH DAY WE TAKE UP THE OFFENSIVE WEAPON OF THE WORD OF GOD – THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT – ONE VERSE OPENS THE DOOR TO THE CONTEXT OF THE CHAPTER MESSAGE
Verse of the Day for Sunday, March 30, 2025
✟
“But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.”
Mark 11:26 (KJV)
COMMENTARY ON MARK 11
“Christ’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem. (1-11) The barren fig-tree cursed, The temple cleansed. (12-18) Prayer in faith. (19-26) The priests and elders questioned concerning John the Baptist. (27-33)1-11 Christ’s coming into Jerusalem thus remarkably, shows that he was not afraid of the power and malice of his enemies. This would encourage his disciples who were full of fear. Also, that he was not disquieted at the thoughts of his approaching sufferings. But all marked his humiliation; and these matters teach us not to mind high things, but to condescend to those of low estate. How ill it becomes Christians to take state, when Christ was so far from claiming it! They welcomed his person; Blessed is he that cometh, the “He that should come,” so often promised, so long expected; he comes in the name of the Lord. Let him have our best affections; he is a blessed Saviour, and brings blessings to us, and blessed be He that sent him. Praises be to our God, who is in the highest heavens, over all, God blessed for ever.”
19-26 “The disciples could not think why that fig-tree should so soon wither away; but all wither who reject Christ; it represented the state of the Jewish church. We should rest in no religion that does not make us fruitful in good works. Christ taught them from hence to pray in faith. It may be applied to that mighty faith with which all true Christians are endued, and which does wonders in spiritual things. It justifies us, and so removes mountains of guilt, never to rise up in judgment against us. It purifies the heart, and so removes mountains of corruption, and makes them plain before the grace of God. One great errand to the throne of grace is to pray for the pardon of our sins; and care about this ought to be our daily concern.”
Commentary by Matthew Henry, 1710.

Thank You, Jesus, for blessings received and prayers answered !!!
WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL
PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.
Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.
PLEASE PRAY FOR ABUSED, MISSING, AND TRAFFICKED CHILDREN
BE MY VOICE
JESUS LOVES THE LITTLE CHILDREN
CHILD NOT CHOICE
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen.
AMEN!
PLEASE PRAY FOR ONE ANOTHER
MAPA = MAKE AMERICA PRAY AGAIN
HEAL US, LORD
In the morning, we are reminded
Of what we need to do today
We try to remain broad-minded
As we attempt to make our way
As our eyes open to a new day
We think first thoughts of You
For it is You who will guide our way
Over, above, and through
Without You we would be lost
Confused in mind, body, and soul
Through this maze we would be tossed
No way we would ever be whole
What would You have us do today
Where are we needed the most
Who needs a prayer a clearway
Nearby or at a distant coast
Be we anxious or just be concerned
About another in the mind
Whose life may suddenly be upturned
Or it may be one in a bind
Whatever it is the Spirit knows
For it is He who guides us
Through many sorrows even woes
With happy blessings He abides us
Inspire us Lord as we make our way
Guide us Lord in all that we do
Make this a most prosperous day
As we praise and glorify You
Not for us do we work so hard
Not for us do we normally pray
Not for us do we stand guard
But to help another make his way
Help us, Lord, to be of service
Help us, Lord, to glorify You
Help us, Lord, not to be nervous
About what it is we must do
Open our hearts and clear our minds
Open our ears wide to listen
Help us to open the spiritual blinds
Pray for those we need to christen
Many are lost in ways unknown
They have been brought to the edge
They need to know they are not alone
They must come now off of the ledge
There is healing in the Blood of Jesus
There is healing in His mighty Word
There is healing in His love that frees us
It is by His love that we are stirred
It is You in whom we find comfort
From worldly concerns of the day
From all that brings discomfort
Help us, Lord, to drive it away
Strengthen our bodies and minds
Bring peace to those around us
Bless Your people of all kinds
Let not turmoil surround us
Heal us, Lord, as only You can do
From whatever it is that ails us
Let us not be discouraged or blue
Break up the evil that assails us
Give us peace of mind, body, and soul
Help us stand strong and not falter
Give us back that which they stole
Grant our petitions left at the altar
Bless us, Lord, and heal us
From all that would keep us aback
From all adversity seal us
Protect us from ev’ry attack
Under Your wings we are sheltered
From all that could ever harm us
With Your love we are weltered
Nothing will ever alarm us
Thank You for hearing our prayer
For guiding us on our way
For nothing could ever compare
With blessings received each day
AMEN

Sick. And they want to discuss human rights here?
https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2025/03/britain-is-lost-white-men-uk-face-tougher/
Starting Tuesday, white men in the United Kingdom will face tougher sentencing than ethnic, cultural, or faith minorities, as well as young people under 25, women, and pregnant women.
They used to call this racism.
So now, if you are a white man, you can expect more time in prison than a minority person.
This is the same country that arrests you for smart-a$$ comments on social media.
Britain truly is lost.
What a humiliating end to a once-great empire.
Via Caldron Pool:
From Tuesday, new judicial guidelines in the United Kingdom will introduce sentencing policies that apply differential treatment based on ethnicity, gender, and age—leading to harsher punishments for white men compared to other groups in society. The move has been met with criticism from Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Justice Secretary Shabana Mahmood, both of whom have expressed concerns about the fairness of the policy and signalled potential legislative action.
Under the updated guidelines, judges will prepare pre-sentencing reports where necessary for defendants from ethnic, cultural, or faith minorities, as well as young people under 25, women, and pregnant women. Historically, such reports have resulted in mitigated sentences, including reduced jail time. The practical implication of these changes is that white men, who do not qualify for these reports, will face relatively harsher sentencing outcomes.
The policy has sparked controversy, with many arguing that it enshrines racial and gender-based discrimination into the judicial system. Critics say the new approach is a violation of the principle that justice should be blind to race, gender, and background.
And OfCom (UK MiniTrue) is attacking GAB and Andrew Torba, threatening them with 18 million pounds or 10 percent of their worldwide revenue (!!!!!) in fines if they don’t knuckle under to them.
How can the UK (or ANYONE, for that matter) levy fines on income generated in another country????? Especially when the company in question (GAB) is not based in the UK?????
Labour appears to be a labor of Satan, sad to say…..
To hell with these satanic monsters!
Theyre awful. Uk has been in a semi fascist state for at least a decade, in more widespread use.
They have been since the 1960s, or even the 1950s… Harold Wilson, also from “Labour” opened the gates to “Asian migration”, read: Moslem invasion (mostly Pakistan)… and it was downhill from there…..
I’m thankful every day that America broke away from Britain with a definitive defeat.
Amen.
Defeated twice. And Thank God!
Unfortunately we now have to defeat the SOBs for a THIRD time!
For some time, watching the deterioration of the West and Britian in particular, I have been reminded of a passage from Isaiah’s prophecy against Egypt, Isaiah chapter 19 verses 2-15. The government can act the fool for a long time but eventually we can expect God to take notice and intervene. It seems if the West is going to survive politically, a lot of Trump-like leaders will have to emerge. The Bible infers in several places that God despises injustice and, over the long haul, will not tolerate it. Isaiah chapter 10 verses 1-2.
It could or may devolve into a “Let God sort them out.” Post major conflict.

Eventually they’ll go back to electrocuting gasoline vehicles.
Wait, they didn’t do that.
Did I just give them ideas?
Actually I’d love to see them try that.
Given the level of stupidity they display going after Teslas, they’d be very likely to electrocute themselves trying.
Yes, why not? They’ve set themselves on fire…
LMAO! So horrible! But I know accounts on Gab and X who would leave the damned swastikas on!
A couple of quick tips on using the new notifier.
On phones, you can click, hold and drag the list of notifications left, right, up and down.
On a computer, you can click and hold, and then use the arrow keys.
Both of these methods let you see things that might be off-screen.
On a computer, when I do that the whole window scrolls…taking the notifier popup with it (not how a GUI is supposed to behave, by the way). It does not move the notifier with respect to the page. (right and left arrows don’t work at all.)
Not sure if that’s what you meant or not.
It is! When I click into the notifier and hold, and use my arrow keys, it scrolls the notifier text, not the whole window. The page up and down keys work similarly, but will then page the browser content after the notifier tops or bottoms out.
OK, actually it sounds to me like it ISN’T based on your description here.
If I left-mouse down and hold, and use the up key, the entire window scrolls up–which is to say the text moves down, replaced at the top by more text that was off the top of the screen. The notifier area remains glued to the window so it goes down as well, rather than remaining attached to the black menu bar as one would normally expect. So if it was covering a link to a post that’s on the sidebar, it still will be.
Similarly for the down key, but the notifier will immediately start to disappear off the top of the screen, since it’s already at the top to begin with.
Of course I just realized that’s what the notifier does anyway even if I scroll without the benefit of holding the left mouse button down.
Interesting! I’m using Brave, not Firefox. That may be part of it.
This comment right here that I’m now replying to actually formatted correctly in the notifier on Brave (nothing missing off the left hand side).
But the scrolling behavior is identical.
Bonestock firefox does not format correctly, either.
I am using Brave on Ubuntu and have no problems.
Thanks!!!
Brave in Windoze 10 works fine too
Checked on an utterly bonestock firefox installation, as well as the customized one I normally use.
His directions worked fine for me on my computer
Thank you for the self-portrait!

WOW. That is huge.
First he shows the autoworker union(s) that he’s bringing manufacturing back, then he does this. It’s the right order to do things.
As far as I am concerned there is a heck of a lot of difference between a union at a commercial business and a government employee union.
Bad public employees should NOT BE PROTECTED PERIOD and that is what these unions do.
Worse the loyalty of the employee is now FOR the Union and NOT for the USA and their EMPLOYER the American people..
It’s about time he listened to FDR.
[he disliked public sector unions].
That is Awesome AND Way Overdue!!!
Possibly interesting, maybe.

Yep…
Kind of a sheepish remark on their part…

Is this anything like Colin Powell telling the public and strongman Raoul Cedras to leave power so they could put Aristide back into power since they just launched the 82nd Airborne from Ft Bragg, that they were in the air and would be making an 11AM airborne assault on Hatti if he did not. If it was okay then and American press applauded the action, it must be okay now.
Now I’m hearing in my head (gosh, all those echoes), “Eres Tu” from back in the 1970s, only as “Aris tide”….
I don’t believe Goldberg. Not sure I believe Waltz, either.
Agree on both.
Nor have I settled on this nothing burger being a set up, to screw over Goldberg/Atlantic.
If Walz doesn’t get canned, I’ll buy into the set up.
I don’t think the governor of Minnesota is involved in this.
Agree. Another spelling failure.
Other sources are claiming Waltz was a source for Goldberg before now.
Trump will get rid of him after the furor dies down, and for a completely unrelated reason. Wait and see.
Interesting prediction which I would be reluctant to bet against.
More like Gold Turd…..

Okay, for the wqq-wqq minded among us, what could this mean?
I’m going to take that at face value, personally.
I was thinking that the wood might be used as the White House Staff, for casting spells of command.
LOL!
I think they could use the wood for some very nice objects and ornaments.
A podium to be used to announce when the Income Tax is abolished would be nice.
Remember the commandment for oversexed politicians: Thou shalt not share thy rod with thy staff.
I think the site from where it is removed should be named Jackson Hole
I personally think that God allowed this to happen under a President who greatly respects Andrew Jackson! Praise God!
The tree will surely be used for things which could last for generations, if not centuries!

I was reading a story of a family going through terrific stress today. The wife was being treated for breast cancer and some of the hormone treatments were changing her personality. It almost cost their marriage. But they made it through.
Which reminded me of Wolf’s comment that “they” are taking those leftists that can be manipulated, right up to the edge of psychosis.
The easiest to manipulate might just be the Trans people because their hormones are not their own.
We know the testosterone used in Female to Male can cause rage and increased aggression.
Forbes: Testosterone Therapy Increases Anger Expression And Control In Transgender Men, Especially If Their Periods Persist
52??? That is a strange sample size… And rather small.
Doesn’t anybody remember ‘roid rage? That was due to supplemental synthetic male hormones also IIRC.

Those hormone suppressors are well known to cause nasty side effects. One of them can even cause uterine cancer. My oncologist tried for months to get me to take them, but I didn’t even consider it.
Trans people are also a self-selected group of the most highly suggestible (and self-suggestible) people in the human population. This is part of why they are so politically useful. The high percentage of XY male Antifa who self-identify as “transwomen” shows how much group overlap there is between trans-self-ID and leftist radicalism.

Hello PhoenixRising. Good to see you!
Did you watch the full 2+ hours?
What was interesting to you?
Any cliff notes summaries for this?
I only got through a bit of it.
It’s a guy in a hat with a Scottish accent scolding the Saudi Arabia for not doing anything about Israel’s atrocities against Muslims in Gaza on the a holy day “Eid” which is happening right now. And he scolds the Arab world for not defending the Yemen people from US Military strikes. Strikes, he claims, that are being done by the US to defend the Straits “for Israel.”
Hmmm, thanks for that info. I’m not likely to watch as too much to do for tax slavery
It was a puzzle to me. What is the purpose of this? And finally I just said, nope, this isn’t how I need to spend my time.
Blessings on your work on your taxes!
I don’t prefer to watch videos anyway & if I do they’re usually fairly short &/or I tend to play them on higher speeds to get it over quicker.
TY for your kind thoughts on my tax prep efforts. At least I’ve gotten much of the prep work done so hopefully I can begin filling out the forms tomorrow, depending on how things go…

The traditional media has been lying to America for decades. Some have been outright lies, others have been lies of omission. While this has been going on for 50 years or more (and maybe has always been going on), it took the advent of Donald Trump and social media for the lies to become transparently obvious, starting in 2016.
The heroes in uncovering those years of deception have largely been social media truth seekers.
Unfortunately this has resulted in too many Americans trusting ANY social media sources so long as their narratives deviate from the mainstream media narratives.
Guess what? Social media influencers are as prone to untruth and distortions as the mainstream media is. Reflexively trusting a source from the fringes just because it presents alternative views is just as stupid as believing everything CNN says.
I believe that in this modern era, American citizens have a duty to be skeptical of all they hear and read, and do their own due diligence.
The Internet is awash with primary sources: full texts of speeches, original polling data, original scientific studies, full legal opinions from court cases, government archives, archived news stories from long ago, etc. etc. There is no excuse not to do your own research on what matters to you.
And if no primary sources are available on a subject, seek out wildly contrasting opinions on the matter and strive to deeply understand how those opinions arise and differ. The truth usually lies somewhere in the middle.
Trust no one fully, verify always. (That goes for verifying what I say as much as anyone else, just so you know. We all make mistakes and are victims of our own biases, including me.)
Do your own research, it’s your duty as an American.
Truer words have never been spoken.
“If the CIA doesn’t get you one way, they’ll get you the other.”
“What do the simple folk do?”……
Amen Carl & thank you for setting up this teaching even as you yourself & your loved ones are likely experiencing God’s ministering angels’ presence & intervention as you have undergone surgery & are hopefully well into the recovery process.
You’ve been on my thought & in my prayers. Hope you are doing well! God Bless YOU!
Amen!
