Unless I miss my guess, I think I had it in December when a wave came through here, and I didn’t have a fever at all, just a nasty cough that took a couple months to go away.

Too bad we can not trust the testing or medical establishment on the testing.
That’s why I haven’t had the anti-body test yet.
There was that one in December, a post nasal drip in February where I did the zinc thing and it never developed, and then that NASTY one in March which was labelled Influenza A. I still have lingering effects from that, specifically the fever. Been taking vitamins and eating a lot of meat and dairy. That seems to help.
Trying to drop a dress size is just going to have to wait.
Leave out the bread, pasta, sugar, carbs… and you can eat all the meat & Cheese you want and still lose weight. I lost 30 lbs on a veggie/heavy on the meat diet and didn’t skimp on the fats. You NEED fats to build a healthy immune system and to protect your nerves…

Lots of hugs from me and my friend who was riding a more temperamental mare in front of me. That mare would have spooked instead.
I really loved that mare. She was the smartest and easiest to train equine I have ever had. A real western COW PONY bred off working ranch stock. They now call them Foundation Quarter Horses since they have very little racing thoroughbred blood. My racing thoroughbred was the DUMBEST horse I ever had.

No they are not like dogs.
They are PREY so their minds (and eyes) work completely differently.
Dogs, cats, people have eyes in the front of their heads and binocular vision with depth perception for hunting. Since they hunt they are more inquisitive and bolder.
Prey animals have their eyes on the side of the head and when eating have almost 360 vision. They are very sensitive to movement. In a horse and other prey animals they will have to raise their heads to shift their focus. (We don’t) That is called ‘Alerting’ And most other herd animals will respond to a raised head and stare.
If the animal thinks what they see is dangerous they will run a short distance and check to see if they are chased. If they are not chased they will stop and stare and then return to grazing. When they lay down there is ALWAYS one standing guard .

Since horses are herd animals they have a hierarchy just like a pack of dogs does. In training you want to be on the TOP of that hierarchy. Once you have established
1. Your are at the top.
2. You are to be trusted to lead safely.
Then it is a matter of communication. Horses are very, very sensitive to non-verbal cues from humans so being very careful to use EXACT repetition is important. Probably the biggest problem for novices is the fact the horse does not have the facial muscles a dog does and that makes them much harder to ‘read’ They are also much more reluctant to trust quickly. I think part of that is from them being bought and sold over their life times. We usually give a new pony about 6 months to a year to ‘settle’ and get to know and trust us before we start working with them. It can take a year or more for them to get over bad training and mistrust. Sometimes, like with my thoroughbred it can take years.
Can horses become good friends with humans like dogs do? Yes very much so. I have had horses, even lesson horses I was attached to, recognize me years later and greet me with a whine or gallop over if they are in a pasture.
So, when mounted police are riding by, just be still?

From a local doctor, via LIFELOG:
Study showing that some unexposed individuals may have some T-cell response to the SARS-COV2 virus.
In this study they found that 81% of unexposed individuals still had a T-cell response to the SARS-COV2 virus. So it is proposed that coronaviruses causing the common cold could cause a T-cell response giving individuals who have not been exposed some inherit immunity. Here in a previous blog we proposed that some type of cross over immunity from coronaviruses causing the common cold could be an explanation as to why some patients are asymptomatic. This appears to be some evidence of that hypothesis.
In addition they found that the severity of the disease correlated to the levels of antibodies that were found in patients. Meaning that patients with severe disease had higher levels of antibodies. However, this was not the case with the T-cell response as even mild cases still mounted a strong T-cell response.
So this is good news meaning that it is very possible that many people already have some immunity to the SARS-COV2 virus.
Coronavirus Update 7/01/2020 – Fatality Rate

So today at the time of this writing there are 46,042 new cases and deaths are at 764. Nationwide cases are still way up over the past week or so days going from 26k to now 40k per day . Deaths are actually still steady or trending down slowly. We also have now had 1,143,334 people recovered from this virus and should now have some degree of immunity from this horrific disease.
Locally, in Texas cases are still rising rapidly. We had 5,182 new cases which again is one of the largest numbers we have ever had in Texas. In addition we had only 36 new deaths with a still declining mortality rate of 1.5%.
There are 74,628 active cases in Texas. The number of active cases continues to rise at a steady rate. We have risen significantly over the past 2 and half weeks now. Cases here in Texas along with hospitalizations have risen sharply over the past two and half weeks and another 475 today. We now have a reported 6,533 patients in the state hospitalized currently with Covid-19 and we were below 2,000 on 6/8. As I have said previously we now have 50% of hospitalized and 30% of critical care Covid-19 patients are under age 50 now. So while most in this age group live many still get very seriously ill and require significant hospital stays prior to recovery.
In addition we have 84,818 recovered now. While we still have plenty of hospital and ICU beds they are filling up at too fast a rate with now over 450 per day for the past 4 days.
Today in Dallas county with 601 new cases and 20 deaths. Harris county with 693 new cases and 2 new deaths. Collin county with 119 new cases and no new deaths being reported. Denton county with 70 new cases and no new deaths. Tarrant county with nothing reported. Brazos county with 121 new cases and no new deaths. Travis county with 508 new cases and 4 new deaths. Fort Bend county with 6 new cases and no new deaths. Bexar county with nothing new reported.
For the newbies we have been predicting an overall fatality rate somewhere in the 0.3 to 0.7 range when we finally correct the denominator.
American Academy of Pediatrics recommending kids return to the classroom in the fall.

Beyond supporting the educational development of children and adolescents, schools play a critical role in addressing racial and social inequity. As such, it is critical to reflect on the differential impact SARS-COV2 and the associated school closures have had on different races, ethnic and vulnerable populations.
The AAP strongly advocates that all policy considerations for the coming school year should start with a goal of having students physically present in school. The importance of in person learning is well-documented, and there is already evidence of the negative impacts on children because of school closures in the spring of 2020. Lengthy time away from school and associated interruption of supportive services often results in social isolation, making it difficult for schools to identify and address important learning deficits as well as child and adolescent physical or sexual abuse, substance use, depression, and suicidal ideation. This, in turn, places children and adolescents at considerable risk of morbidity and, in some cases, mortality.”
The quote is easy to understand and emphasizes the importance of school in pediatric development intellectually, socially, culturally and physically. They go on to say that children and adolescents appear to not play a major role in amplifying SARS-COV2 outbreaks. In addition evidence suggests that children and adolescents are less likely to be symptomatic and less likely to have severe disease in COVID-19. In addition, children may be less likely to become infected and to spread infection.
Policies to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 within schools must be balanced with the known harms to children, adolescents, families, and the community by keeping children at home. Finally, policy makers should acknowledge that COVID-19 policies are intended to mitigate, not eliminate, risk!
So this means that the risk of a child going to school is minimal. And that this risk must be weighed against the risks of not going to school causing mental, physical, social and intellectual issues. And that the policies that are put in place will only slow the spread and not stop the spread of the virus.
They have specific recommendations for each age group and specific school activities. There is way too much to write all of the details for each age group but it is worth reading if you have school age children.

It doesn’t goes out of ‘style’ within a year since it never was ‘IN Style’ thus I saved myself tons of money.
Actually, for me, my mom went back to work at one point and had my sister’s and my hair cut short so she didn’t have to deal with it. When she quit that job, we both grew our hair back out and it’s been long since.
It might be jealousy, but to an extent I see it more as a herd mentality, and outliers aren’t supposed to be allowed.

When they’re “in” the thread, I can quickly see whether I’m interested enough in the content to read/watch, etc. or scroll by, but if I have to check every link and open a new page to see it, I find myself scrolling by most of them.
The easiest method is to copy the text of the tweet and on a separate line put the link with a star in front of it.

This rule in Pennsylvania is nonsense. And the Radical Left Democrats will ALWAYS interpret a rule to cause grief and nonsense.
I’ll say this – any R govs who follow PA’s governor on requiring masks is headed for one term. Voluntary is fine, but people need to be empowered.

I know when to wear a mask and when NOT to wear a mask. I’m already dealing with hypoxia and messed up lungs. I’m probably immune, too, so the mask doesn’t really do ANYBODY any good except make the mask Karens feel better. Sure, I can do that. But PLEASE don’t force it.

If I was Rev. Theodore Rothrock, the first thing I would do is drop the religious title ‘Reverend’. The word “Reverend” only appears one time in the WHOLE Bible, and it is in reference to God:

I would note that among the qualifications given by God in order to be a Bishop (a.k.a. Elder) in His church, one must be:
1) a man (husband)
2) the husband of one wife
3) with a faithful child or children
And these qualifications in God’s Word are given not once, but twice:

Some of the qualifications are obviously judgement calls to be made by the congregation appointing the bishop or elder, but obviously several of the qualifications GIVEN BY GOD (not given by men) are matters of verifiable fact, i.e., being a man, being the husband of one wife, having at least one child.
God is not obligated to explain Himself or His reasons to us, but in this case, He did — God chose to explain why He required the qualification that a man be married with a child or children in order to be a Bishop (a.k.a. Elder) in His church:
“(For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)” (1 Timothy 3:5)

Then I would ask Mr. Doherty if he would present his wife and any children, to demonstrate that he at least meets the factual requirements necessary to be a Bishop (a.k.a. Elder) in Christ’s church.
And if he can’t, then by definition, he is not qualified to be a Bishop in Christ’s church, and has no authority in the matter.
He could be a Bishop in some OTHER church that is not Christ’s church, where men make up the qualifications for themselves, and that’s a whole other can of worms, but according to God, Mr. Doherty is no Bishop in Christ’s church, if Mr. Doherty does not meet the qualifications which God set forth.
And then when I was sanctioned further by these scoundrels, I would go right up the line, all the way to the Pope, who claims to be the Bishop of Rome, publicly asking him to present his wife and his child or children, if he is able to do so, or to remain silent if he cannot.
Unless any man dares to claim he is a higher Authority than God, God is the highest Authority, and God determines who is qualified to be a Bishop (a.k.a. Elder) in His church.
God’s Word is very plain and clear on this subject.
So I would quote God and then stand on His Word, and let them try to argue with God.
And whatever they may say or do from that point forward, the whole world will see and know the truth.

A natural extension of any such defense in the pursuit of Truth is to first establish the Authority of whomever ordered the suspension, for if the individual doing so is without Authority, then as a natural consequence, the suspension itself is likewise without Authority, and can therefore be disregarded completely.
Would ignoring the suspension not, as a predictable and logical consequence, inevitably lead up the chain of Authority within the organization? And at each step will the same challenge to the qualifications of the individual claiming Authority not apply? Do any of the bishops — up to and including the Pope — have a wife and at least one child? If not, then how can any of them meet the qualifications given by God in His Word that He required in order to be a bishop in His church?
If the bishops do NOT claim to be members of Christ’s church, then of course they are free to make up whatever qualifications they like and do whatever they please, within the boundaries of the law.
But if any claim is made or asserted that the bishops are members of Christ’s church, then Who besides God has the Authority to determine the qualifications necessary to be a bishop in His church?
What man would presume to take it upon himself to contradict, countermand or overrule God, to put himself in a position of Authority over and above the Authority of God?
How is this not a simple matter of Authority and identification?
If the claimed identification is positive (i.e., if the claim is that the church is Christ’s church), then the highest Authority in Christ’s church is Christ, and no man has the Authority to usurp Christ as the Head of His church:

Therefore, are the qualifications given by God, in order to be a bishop in His church, not valid? Do they not apply to anyone who claims to be a member of His church, who seeks (or claims) the office of bishop?
Therefore, how can it not be a valid challenge to anyone claiming to be a bishop in any church which claims to be Christ’s church and represents itself as belonging to Him and being under His Authority?
God’s Word plainly gives the qualifications necessary in order to be a bishop in His church, in two separate passages, whether the translation referenced is the KJV or the Douay-Rheims or any other of which I am aware.
God is (to put it mildly) a valid source of Authority, and obviously the highest source of Authority; who has higher Authority than God?
Every church which claims to be of Christ is, by definition, under His Authority.

First off, part of the issue is demands from advertisers. Any time a site monetizes, or beefs up the ads, you see this switch.

My dad is on a kidney preservation diet so we have to be careful with that.
That makes it a royal pain. Tea is a bit of a problem because of the caffeine (Bad for kidneys) that causes a loss of potassium and then my blood pressure goes up and I get leg cramps…. Can’t win for losing some times!
I have switched to decaf tea with ONE glass a day of my green tea and now also drink the tonic water (with lemonade)

It is July 2nd and almost four months since the national crisis started. I still don’t know a single person in real life who has had the virus. The closest I’ve got is a relative who heard that a former coworker’s family caught it. I’ve visited a few, and they are artworks designed to be lived in. Beautiful, and evocative of peace and balance (though I did have to slam a 110-year-old French door in the face of an attacking German Shepherd….). Their works are not merely to be regarded, but are also to be experienced through the hours of a day. Houses by Greene & Greene are recognized as the Ultimate Bungalows and have served as models for Disney’s Grand Californian.

I’m curious about bare Twitter images (pictures with Twitter URLs) – Twitter could theoretically slow those down. We need to test those. Those are the ones where we have to change the image address to make it end in .png or .jpg, etc.
But right now, it looks like the Twitter plugin – the part which “reformats” pages after they load – is the true bad actor. That is what turns bare Twitter tweet URLs into embedded tweets. I’m seeing a bit of slowness still, but VASTLY reduced because we’re seeing far fewer embedded tweets today.

Epstein Confidante Maxwell Arrested In New Hampshire
In a surprising move, Ghislaine Maxwell, the British heiress and confidante to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein, has been arrested in New Hampshire. Maxwell’s arrest could have a ripple effect on both criminal and civil matters ranging from the still uncertain status of Prince Andrew to a number of defamation lawsuits. One of Maxwell’s principal accuser was Virginia Roberts Giuffre who has filed lawsuits against Maxwell as well as figures like Harvard Professor Alan Dershowitz.
Frankly, as a criminal defense lawyer, I am surprised that Maxwell risked returning to the United States. She was believed to be living in Paris. It was well-known that the Justice Department was pursuing the case, including demands to interview Prince Andrew.
Her arrest may be unnerving for figures like Prince Andrew. She would be the ultimate cooperating witness if she decided to cooperate on broader criminal inquiries. Giuffre and others have alleged that she was the primary procurer of young girls for Epstein to abuse.
Such prosecutions are not easy given the passage of time. However, the government clearly has live witnesses like Giuffre who might have a significant impact on a jury. The government would have to show more than her mere presence at these homes or parties.
One interesting twist will be the infamous deal cut. I was a vocal critic of that deal with Epstein. Despite a strong case for prosecution, Epstein’s lawyers, including Alan Dershowitz and Ken Starr, were able to secure a ridiculous deal with prosecutors. He was accused of abusing abused more than forty minor girls (with many between the ages of 13 and 17). Epstein pleaded guilty to a Florida state charge of felony solicitation of underage girls in 2008 and served a 13-month jail sentence. Epstein was facing a 53-page indictment that could have resulted in life in prison in jail. However, he got the 13 month deal. Moreover, to my lasting surprise, the Senate approved the man who cut that disgraceful deal, former Miami U.S. attorney Alexander Acosta, as labor secretary. He later resigned.
That deal does not mention Maxwell but it expressly stated that federal prosecutors “will not institute any criminal charges against any potential co-conspirators of Epstein, including but not limited to Sarah Kellen, Adriana Ross, Lesley Groff, or Nadia Marcinkova.” Any criminal charge linked to the Epstein case against Maxwell would seem to be a charge against a “potential co-conspirator of Epstein.”

The Senate unanimously passed Republican Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul’s bill to stop sending social security money to dead people Tuesday but seemed unaware that they had actually agreed to pass the bill.
Paul asked the Senate to pass the bill and Republican Tennessee Sen. Marsha Blackburn asked, “is there objection?”
“There is a unanimous consent request pending. There is a reservation and the right to object,” Blackburn said. Her question was met with several seconds of silence.
“If there’s no objections, I guess it passes,” another senator said. Blackburn asked again if there are objections, then announced, “without objection.”

The Bronfman’s and the Agnelli family did a lot of business together in regards to gold acquisition so they sent Tome to insert himself into the Canadian Spirits mogul’s ranks to spy on him. According to Bronfman, Tome met with him at a rodeo in Wyoming and pitched his services
Giuseppe Tome was a financial adviser to the most prominent family in Italy to follow the Royals of Italy, the Agnelli family. They are the “Henry Ford” of Italy (FIAT motor company founders) with the status of the Bush Dynasty in the USA. Liked by many because they don’t know their REAL history.
Bronfman was alerted by Maxwell’s protege from NY that the Agnelli family was spying on them through Tome and that the bank he was using was owned by the House of Savoy.

I had a revelation today that explains the anti-fireworks psy-op and renewed mask hysteria. They are actively trying to make Independence Day as miserable as possible.
My city has gone overboard this past week. Masks are now required everywhere, including outdoors in the summer heat. The bars were forcibly shutdown. The fireworks psy-op that hit my neighborhood may have been to associate fireworks with negative emotions instead of joyous celebrations. The police already announced that they will spend the weekend cracking down on mask compliance, fireworks, and gatherings.
I kept thinking, “Why now? Why is this happening four months into crisis?” And then it hit me. They hate America so much that they are doing everything they can to stop us from celebrating our nation’s birth. They don’t want us having any positive emotions about America at all, even fond memories of Independence Day cookouts and fireworks.
Find some other way to celebrate, then!!!

My take (as a resident of Austin)
I politely listened to the Gov’s entire video and kept an open mind while doing so. That said, I am at complete loss as to what is going though Abbott’s mind.
My biggest problem is that he did not address a single concern of his own base re: the virus. He did not address:
1. artificial increase due to more testing
2. possibility or likelyhood of contaminated test kits
3. recent political protests causing the increase
4. political interests in spiking the numbers higher and reasons for same
5. Etc
6. Etc
That all said, I am gravely concerned because I know Gov. Abbott is a very smart man. How could this very smart man MISS the need to speak directly to the concerns of his own political base re: a highly politicized plannedemic??
Rather than allay concerns he has only stoked them!
And as you all know, I HAD been thinking Abbott was the man to run for POTUS in 2024.
