This is notice to all Republicans and RINOs that while I will allow a wide variety of views to flourish here, I am PERSONALLY not going to support ANY Republican candidates who cannot make the following PROMISES:

(3) to NEVER say that Trump “legitimately” lost the 2020 election. NEVER AGAIN.
(4) to NEVER cave to the WOKE MOB on ANY issue ever again. NEVER AGAIN.
(5) to NEVER implement mandatory vaccination. NEVER AGAIN.
(6) to NEVER stop raising hell about the FBI’s political prisoners. NEVER AGAIN.
(7) to NEVER stop trying to FREE the FBI’s political prisoners. NEVER AGAIN.
(8) to NEVER support ANY further restrictions on 1st or 2nd Amendment freedoms. NEVER AGAIN

Vignettes from the state of things —
On Saturday, I had my first Mod Pizza in over a year. Mod can do custom pizzas or salads in an assembly line. My favored pizza is insanely complicated and monitored throughout its creation. I also tip well. When all the BS masking happened, I just kept going for weeks after everyone else had shut down. I always made sure to be done before 5:00 pm so that I wouldn’t be in a crowd.
And then they hired a Karen. So I walked out. I hadn’t been back for a bit. Mostly new crowd — and their questions threw me off a bit so I missed the asiago under the mozzarella. And they’re now cutting their salami slices in 1/4s….but I can get back.
The oven guy remembered me and remembered the last two steps. I told him I was glad to be back.

On Sunday, we visited the Oakland Zoo. They were big in “masked inside, vaxxed unmasked outside”.
Seemed like far too many people were masked where they did not “need” to be, for virtue signalling reasons. OTOH, there were a number of people who were clearly in “screw this” mode. You pretty much had to wear a mask to get through the entrance gate, to get on the gondola, or to order food. Once you were inside, or the gondola’s doors closed, or you got your food and sat down, lots of masks dropped.

At my local Lucky’s, roughly 60% of the employees have just dropped the goddamned things. I understand that management is talking about retaining mandates until the end of the year, but indications are that they’ll have a helluva time filling shifts — including the Assistant Manager.
