Abstract
Background: Reports of waning vaccine-induced immunity against COVID-19 have begun to surface. With that, the comparable long-term protection conferred by previous infection with SARS-CoV-2 remains unclear.
Methods: We conducted a retrospective observational study comparing three groups: (1)SARS-CoV-2-naive individuals who received a two-dose regimen of the BioNTech/Pfizer mRNA BNT162b2 vaccine, (2)previously infected individuals who have not been vaccinated, and (3)previously infected and single dose vaccinated individuals. Three multivariate logistic regression models were applied. In all models we evaluated four outcomes: SARS-CoV-2 infection, symptomatic disease, COVID-19-related hospitalization and death. The follow-up period of June 1 to August 14, 2021, when the Delta variant was dominant in Israel.
Results: SARS-CoV-2-naive vaccinees had a 13.06-fold (95% CI, 8.08 to 21.11) increased risk for breakthrough infection with the Delta variant compared to those previously infected, when the first event (infection or vaccination) occurred during January and February of 2021. The increased risk was significant (P<0.001) for symptomatic disease as well. When allowing the infection to occur at any time before vaccination (from March 2020 to February 2021), evidence of waning natural immunity was demonstrated, though SARS-CoV-2 naive vaccinees had a 5.96-fold (95% CI, 4.85 to 7.33) increased risk for breakthrough infection and a 7.13-fold (95% CI, 5.51 to 9.21) increased risk for symptomatic disease. SARS-CoV-2-naive vaccinees were also at a greater risk for COVID-19-related-hospitalizations compared to those that were previously infected.
Conclusions: This study demonstrated that natural immunity confers longer lasting and stronger protection against infection, symptomatic disease and hospitalization caused by the Delta variant of SARS-CoV-2, compared to the BNT162b2 two-dose vaccine-induced immunity. Individuals who were both previously infected with SARS-CoV-2 and given a single dose of the vaccine gained additional protection against the Delta variant.

I have close personal friend who is 83 and took the Moderna when offered here in East TN in early April. He was in really good health for his age and very active. He can now no longer stand for more than a few minutes at a time. What once was a mild case of psoriatic arthritis is now ravaging his body. He now realizes it was the jab and said he would die before taking the booster.
I have a close 67 year old cousin in FL who also took the Moderna, whose hair is literally now falling out, has no stamina anymore and cannot find a suitable drug she can afford to help her previous immunity depressed system since her past one no longer works. She had a mild case of the COVID before having the jab in April. Her pre-school grandson she sits for while her daughter is at work has now caught a mild case of the Delta. She does not understand why all of this is happening to her/them. The sad part is she is a die hard conservative who bought the government lies and is suffering as a result, but has not yet given in to realizing it was not the right thing to do. She will probably try the booster and it will probably kill her at some point.

Yup. This disease / vaccine combination was designed to cull. Both are designed as immune attacks.
Much of this is big pharma trying to scrounge bucks for research. The phony crisis and forbidding of cheap drugs is all part of that. What you say about “a drug they can afford” is critical. The covid commies and their pharma coconspirators are pushing the “whatchamab” drugs which are expensive.
Please have your two friends consider (if they are OK to take either of these drugs) a regimen of LOW DOSE aspirin or ibuprofen. I’m suggesting HALF a baby aspirin per day, or 1/4 of an advil tablet per day. They need to experiment. This will shift the platelet balance and provide an antiinflammatory background. If they don’t get results, they can increase the dose, but IMO the secret IS the low dose.
Wolf, there are also many natural anti-inflammatories, like Oregon Grape Root, garlic, etc. that might be beneficial without being harsh.
People need to experiment to see which of the 4 active ingredients provides the best spectrum of activity for their own spectrum of disease. They all work by different mechanisms – and have different codrugs present (in the case of naturals).
Wintergreen / aspirin / methyl salicylate = salicylic acid
Chamomile / chamazulenoids / “profens” = X-profenic acid
Oregon grape root / similar naturals = berberine (alkaloid)
Garlic = garlic organosulfur compounds
All of these work by significantly different mechanisms, and have significantly different effects on other aspects of the immune system. For instance, berberine (OGR) is as effective against type 2 diabetes as synthetic drugs which bear NO resemblance to it. Aspirin and profens all have platelet effects, but they are also significantly different mechanisms between the two drug classes. And garlic sulfides have an entirely different immune enhancing mechanism.

Natural “Profens” of Chamomile
The reason I’m specifying aspirin or a profen would be in part to deal with the platelet effects of both COVID and the clot shot. Thus, it may be better to try chamomile or wintergreen – but if diabetes is present, then OGR may be doubly useful. And garlic is T-cell stimulating, which is going to be useful for people who have had the clot shot and may have distorted their T cell response.
Experimenting by the individual is going to be necessary, IMO.

I should also point out that I tried the baby aspirin thing a couple of years ago…..and it triggered a major attack of gout (my third of, so far, four).
One doctor put my husband on baby aspirin and last year another doctor told him to stop using them that they do more harm than good. He stopped and seems to do well.

Thankfully full recovery with no issues, thus far. We are fortunate.
There are papers about using minocycline as an immediate stroke treatment to reduce inflammatory damage. Minocycline is an interesting drug in terms of inflammation.
I know the Indian medical practitioners were using doxycycline and that also affect inflammation.

Also, for whatever you were doing, consider a low-dose profen instead. They are milder inhibitors of platelet formation.

I’m actually somewhat hopeful that a couple of months of iodine might help, but I’m only about a week into that.
One thing I’m a stickler about is never having non-iodized salt in the house. A container of salt can last for years, and if you use a carton of non-iodized salt, that can change iodine intake for the worse for YEARS.

@RedPedePolitics it means that the vaccine did as it was designed – leverages the person’s cells to manufacture spike protein. The problem is that spike protein doesn’t just cause immunogenicity the way flu virus does. It actually causes damage to pulmonary tissue. So it is an incredibly risky thing to give people. You might consider something like this if we had an ebola pandemic where the predictable outcome for 75% or more of the population is death. But not for something variable as asymptomatic/really bad/moderate cases of the flu.

I meant that the media and editors know that the public doesn’t know a corpsman from a corpuscle.
But they know the public knows what a ‘medic’ is.
So if a journalist wants to communicate to his audience that someone who provides first aid was killed, unless he intends to also define the word ‘corpsman’ for his readers, he wouldn’t use the word ‘corpsman’ (even though that would be correct), he would use the word ‘medic’, because that is the word the public knows and understands.
I’m not saying he’s right, but if his objective was to communicate to the general public that a first aid provider was killed, the word ‘medic’ is going to get that point across to a whole lot more people, than the word ‘corpsman’.

My understanding is VAERS reports are both being blocked from submission and some deleted. I don’t have a link, but have read it several times.
AND, previous reports, bt the feds IIRC, VAERS is thought to be 1% reporting.
Yes, hearing they getting heavy scrutiny and even Doctors are having a hard time getting the reports accepted now. This of course will discourage use of VAERS.
