Ivermectin – The Preparation

OK, people. It is time for THE WOLF to GET PATTON ON YOUR ASSES.

As you may know, we now have many of our dear members actively fighting COVID-19, including one (gil00) in the hospital. Several have received Regeneron. Thus far, praise God, we have not lost anybody – and I intend to keep it that way.

For updates on the health of our members, we now have a dedicated thread, listed at the top of the sidebar. Feel free to record information there, including LINKS to comments from sick members in the daily threads.

QTreeper Health Updates

This is a new thread for QTreepers with health issues of ANY kind to keep us updated. I have absolutely no problem with people posting HERE, on the OPEN THREADS, or BOTH. You do what is right for you. We’re here for YOU. I want people to post wherever they feel most comfortable. I also …

We have also covered a specific case of ivermectin, used to treat COVID-19, with FANTASTIC RESULTS.

A Seven-Day Journey Through COVID-19 in Seven Minutes, Treated with Ivermectin

This is a great selfie video, done by a young lady with a glorious Southern accent, chronicling her week of COVID-19 and recovery, treated with ivermectin. It’s short – just under 7 minutes – but it captures a lot of information about symptoms and relief by the drug. I can’t embed the video here due …

We have had many, many, many discussions of how to obtain ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine – now for over a year.

MANY of our members have gotten a hold of one, two, or even THREE OR MORE forms or versions of drugs used to treat COVID-19. When I say that people have STASHES, I mean it. They have STASHES.

So the problem is not that people don’t have the means to treat or prevent the disease.

The problem is that people don’t ALWAYS have the WILL to begin treatment EARLY.

TREATING EARLY was GOD’S GIFT TO US through Doctor Zelenko. This MAN OF GOD realized that the most important way to fight COVID was to hit it EARLY and COMPREHENSIVELY.

At that time, hydroxychloroquine, azithromycin, and zinc was the best combination.

Now, we realize that ivermectin can augment or substitute for hydroxychloroquine. We also understand that VITAMIN D is critical.

We further understand that simple antihistamines such as zyrtec, loratadine, and others can almost completely eliminate the deadly late phase complications of COVID-19 infection.

The Zyrtec Rebellion

Everybody underestimates Spain. The last letter in “PIGS” is far less of an insult than an error. Years ago, when I was at a conference, and Japanese industrial spies were getting me drunk (it was a great red wine), I decided that I had to give them SOMETHING for their time and effort, if only …

SO – I am not going to recap any of that stuff. Likewise, I am not going to re-justify the use of ivermectin, and its GREAT results in India, Indonesia, Japan, Brazil, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and everywhere ELSE that is out of the reach of the Branch Covidian propaganda machine.

Instead, I want to do these things:

I want to make sure that everybody here:

  • HAS A PLAN
  • HAS ANTIGEN TEST KITS TO BEGIN THEIR PLAN
  • HAS A STASH THAT SUPPORTS THEIR PLAN
  • HAS ADVOCATES WHO WILL ASSIST THEIR PLAN
  • HAS HOSPITAL COMMS TO THIS SITE TO UPHOLD THEIR PLAN
  • HAS THE *WILL* TO WITHOUT HESITATION START THEIR PLAN
  • HAS THE *TRAINING* TO FEEL CONFIDENT IN THEIR PLAN

Are you all with me?

TRAINING is key. You are going to assemble a plan and then you are going to TRAIN FOR IT.

Some of this is going to involve helping you understand what COULD be in your stash, and what SHOULD be in your stash.

Now – this is a moving target, and I will be changing and updating the information that follows.

But right now, the MINIMUM that should be in your stash, should be vitamin D and zinc supplements, to prevent COVID-19. Next, you need OTC antihistamines – see the above post.

This is the BARE MINIMUM to save your life. If you have adequate Vitamin D and adequate zinc, and are deficient in neither, then you are VERY unlikely to die from COVID-19.

If you take antihistamines, and you take them IMMEDIATELY or even PREVENTATIVELY, you are even LESS LIKELY TO DIE.

If you have these things, and the WILL to take some of them as needed BEFORE you get COVID, and the WILL to take the others as needed IMMEDIATELY when you think or KNOW that you have COVID-19, you can almost guarantee that you will NOT DIE.

If you want to go further, you need to get ivermectin or hydroxychloroquine.

If you want to strike with maximum efficiency, so that you can take the drugs you need IMMEDIATELY, you also need antigen tests.

These are available from your local pharmacy now, or by mail order.

I will compile a list of URLs here, as an appendix, for you to get these things.

But right now, the main thing I want to do, is to DEBRIEF each of you on your stash and your level of preparation. Then, in the comments, we are going to TRAIN EACH OTHER on preparation and RAPID DEPLOYMENT at the first sign of COVID-19.

So JOIN ME in the comments, and TELL ME (as much as you feel comfortable doing) about your STASH, but FAR MORE IMPORTANTLY….

TELL ME ABOUT YOUR PLAN.

Those of you who have fought or ARE fighting COVID right now, are welcome to TELL or RE-TELL what you did, what you didn’t do, and what you wished you had done, or might have done better.

I want to get ALL OF THIS TREATMENT INFORMATION in one place. I will distill out the most important stuff, and put it in the post itself.

You could save a fellow member, and for each of them, you could save 10 lurkers.

DO IT! Who will be first?

Appendix – Sources for Therapeutics

I will add entries from comments below. Please help add to this list.

1. Welcome Healthcare

https://www.indiamart.com/welcomehealthcare/search.html?ss=ivermectin

This is a great outfit. They are very professional. You need to be prepared with an email address, a PayPal account, and a phone number for them to discuss what they have and what you need. They are friendly, competent, speak good English, and have reasonable prices.

You need to know in advance exactly what you want and how much of it you want. They will ship immediately. You will have product delivered in as little as 2 weeks, or as many as 6 weeks, thanks to supply chain issues, but you will be able to track your shipment.

They also have azithromycin, hydroxychloroquine, doxycycline, steroids, and others. I do NOT recommend buying anything you are not VERY comfortable using, and which you don’t already know proper dosage and contraindications. Likewise, if you are not comfortable purchasing “global OTC medicines” from suppliers like this, and wish to only obtain medicines with a doctor’s prescription, then please seek those drugs through doctors listed below.

This method is not for sissies. I don’t want to talk you out of it, but you are buying real medicine and treating YOURSELF by general published medical recommendations. If that makes you nervous, then go the doctor route. But remember this.

Hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin can SAVE YOUR LIFE.

2. Veterinary Supply Companies

https://www.calvetsupply.com/ivermectin-injection-1-50ml.html

https://upco.com/?s=ivermectin

Some people feel more comfortable this way. Not a problem if you do. These are quality drugs, suitable for human use.

Veterinary supply companies provide ivermectin as both the injectable form (1%) and the horse paste.

In BOTH cases, you want to take it ORALLY. You do not want to inject it. You just have to use the right amount, because you are not a horse, so you don’t need as much.

The horse paste is probably easier if you are more of a COOK, and the injectable is probably easier if you are more of a LAB RAT. We can work with you either way, to get what you need and to help you understand dosages.

3. FLCCC Alliance & Other Doctors’ Organizations

If you want to go through a doctor, these groups are how to do it.

4. Antigen Tests

https://www.cvs.com/shop/abbott-binaxnow-covid-19-antigen-self-test-2-tests-for-serial-testing-prodid-550147

The advantage of using antigen tests, is that you won’t waste your ivermectin or hydroxychloroquine on some cold or weak flu. You will KNOW that you have COVID, and you will be able to take your therapeutic in CONFIDENCE. Thus, if you are AMBIVALENT about taking ivermectin or hydroxychloroquine preventatively, then just wait until you have a positive antigen test, and THEN take the drugs, when you KNOW they will work.

With an antigen test, you can hit COVID on DAY ONE of the clinical infection.

5. Antibody / Regeneron / Lilly / MAb

Use these links to find infusion centers and information on availability.

https://covid.infusioncenter.org/

https://protect-public.hhs.gov/pages/therapeutics-distribution

In my opinion, you can HOPE for these treatments, but (1) there are no guarantees, and (2) you may prove not to be eligible for many reasons, EVEN if you try to get treatment within the first 10 days.

Don’t count on this method, is my advice. But DO make it part of your PLAN!

6. Moxidectin

This is an alternative to ivermectin, which are longer-lasting with completely different dosages. Be VERY careful if you investigate this therapeutic. IMO it is not nearly as well-understood as ivermectin as an antiviral or treatment for long-haul, but it has been clearly demonstrated as effective, IMO. If anybody has information from doctors about safe dosages of moxidectin in humans, please post it!

I hate to begin on a down note, but I won’t be doing any testing where I swab anything anywhere, because anything legal in the US is likely to be a “smallpox blanket”, where something innocuous is used to spread infection. I’ll consider a “spit in a cup” test, where I’d use proper isolation — and I am not about to use a public testing station.

scott467

I’m not using any kind of invasive test procedure either. Zero trust. Less, actually.

It’s almost funny that the people who make these things still expect us to trust them, after everything that has transpired over the past nearly two years.

I trust The Deer Hunter™ home Russian Roulette game (1 or 2 players, ammunition sold separately) with THREE rounds in the cylinder, more than I trust anything made by any medical company at this point.

Is there any home test that uses the equally viable but non-invasive saliva test?

Gail Combs

I see ZERO reason for any kind of test procedure unless I HAD to to keep food on the table. Many of those tests are either MADE IN CHYNA OR HAVE COMPONENTS MADE IN CHYNA!

This is a made in Florida test kit (at home and others)

One is an at home nasal swab for if you have the disease.

This one looks interesting since it looks at antibodies/immunity

Aubergine

See above response to cthulhu.

Aubergine

Thank you for the opportunity to make my first recommendation here.

I DO NOT want to put one of their test swabs in my nose. SO…

Here is the swab that comes in the Binax test:

Puritan Medical 6″ Sterile Standard Foam Swab w/Polystyrene Handle – 25-1506

Your local medical supply or pharmacy likely has these for sale, maybe even individually. I don’t think the regular out-of-the-box ones would be contaminated.

So, get a test, discard the swabs and replace them with your own.

Last edited 3 years ago by Aubergine
Gingersmom2009

Isn’t Puritan that same swab company from when we were kids? They’re in Maine.

Aubergine

Could well be.

Gingersmom2009

When you posted the swab and “Puritan” I feel like a memory surfaced. 😄 Like swabs before they were called q-tips.

Barb Meier put this on the daily thread and I think it should be placed near the top.
 November 18, 2021 05:46

…A friend shared this and I wanted to be sure it was added to the great info here.

“Few if any doctors seem to be aware that Ivermectin (since July 2021) has been on the NIH-approved protocol to treat hospital patients with Ivermectin. You need to make a copy of this document and present it to any doctor who gives you pushback on the administration of Ivermectin should you wind up in the hospital.” https://www.covid19treatmentguidelines.nih.gov/tables/table-2e/

and at this page, I found a link to a list of the 81 clinical trials of Ivermectin, some completed and others in progress.

Note that Tractor Supply does not generally ship veterinary injection ivermectin to California.

cthulhu

Those with a family history might note that smuggling 1.6 gpf toilets, veterinary ivermectin, gasoline chainsaws, and certain types of paint into California could be quite lucrative.

kalbokalbs

It’s MORE lucrative for EVERY person in CA, to L E A V E CA, permanently.

wheatietoo

I read last week that Quercetin was as good as having HCQ, in fighting the ChiCom Flu.

I don’t know if that’s true or not…hope so.
It’s easier to get Quercetin than it is to get HCQ.

Been taking D, C, Zinc, B12 and Quercetin.
As well as a good multi vitamin + CoQ10, an Omega complex and magnesium.

I don’t have any Ivermectin yet.
Am planning on going to my doctor next week to try to get some…and some HCQ.

kalbokalbs

BINGO!

Perfectly timed article.

Linda Harrison

Hi Wolf – I looked over a lot of these posts and the one thing I didn’t see anyone mention is anti-diarreah medicine. My friend had covid and laid on the bathroom floor for a couple of days. By the time she got to the hospital she needed an IV to replenish her fluids.

This is a wonderful post and very helpful.

Linda Harrison

I use the cheap Walmart brand, I think it is the same as imodium. I keep it on hand for the dog. Someone on here posted that some dogs cannot take Ivermectin, my dog gets it in the heart worm medicine

cthulhu

A lot of time, if your body is saying, “I want it OUT!”, you probably want it out, too. For such times, you don’t want to try to cork it in with imodium.

Instead, you want to use ORT (oral rehydration therapy) — https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oral_rehydration_therapy . It can be made at home from very inexpensive ingredients (or packets) and can be flavored at whim.

Valerie Curren

I think similarly about fever. I believe God designed that mechanism as a way for our system to cripple or kill baddies AND make us feel like crap so we Have to Rest & get better. I won’t usually lower my fevers now unless they get North of 103…

Gail Combs

HIGHER TEMP KILLS and that has been proven. It is why saunas and hot tubs have been in use for eons.

The key is to raise the temperature EARLY in the infection. Feel a cold coming on? Take a hot bath and raise your temp. then hop into a nice warm bed. I have used that for years.

…A Native American friend once told me that the Indian sweat lodge has been used continuously for 40,000 years!  The tradition of the sauna is found around the world, in most all advanced cultures to some degree….

Fever therapy (hyperthermia) for infections.  Raising body temperature powerfully assists the body to kill bacteria, fungi, parasites and viruses.  Many people have a low body temperature and, for this reason, cannot get rid of chronic infections…

https://drlwilson.com/ARTICLES/SAUNA_THERAPY.htm

AND:

Hyperthermia.

Information taken from ‘Antibiotic Crisis: Antibiotic Alternatives’ (p

170-174) by Leon Chaitow, DO, ND:

* ” Fever is one of the body’s most powerful defences against

disease. Hyperthermia artificially induces fever in the patient

who is unable to mount a natural fever response to infection,

inflammation or other health challenges. “

Protocol (as described by Dr. Chaitow)…

https://www.remedyspot.com/content/topic/1673540-hyperthermia-for-treating-infections/

Valerie Curren

Fascinating. I grew up around Saunas since my mom’s (adoptive) parents were Finnish. We’d visit them at their cottage home about monthly & Dad & I pretty much always took a sauna. My dad’s dad came along once & took a sauna & it completely loosened his arthritic hand joints for a few days!

wheatietoo

Thanks. Good to know.

I also take Pycnogenol, which is what people with AIDS take to build up their immune system.

And I forgot to add, that I keep antihistamines around because of my allergies…and take some nearly every day.

Gail Combs

From Wolfie’s older comment:

3.4. Clinical management of COVID-19 used in the nursing homes of Yepes

  • Early start of treatment, regardless of the severity of patient symptoms.
  • Patients with mild or recent-onset symptoms (cough, fever, general malaise, anosmia, polymyalgia):
  • Antihistamines every 12 h: dexchlorpheniramine 2 mg, cetirizine 10 mg or loratadine 10 mg.
  • Azithromycin 500 mg orally every 24 h for 3 days if there is rapid improvement, and for 6 days if the duration of symptoms is prolonged.
  • If pain or fever, acetaminophen 650 mg/6–8 h.
  • Nasal washing and gargling with sodium bicarbonate water (half a glass of warm water with half a teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate).
  • If symptoms of severity (dyspnea, breathing difficulty, mild or moderate chest pain, with SpO2 >80%, heart rate <100 beats per minute at any time of the process):
  • Antihistamines + Azithromycin (see mild treatment management)
  • Levofloxacin 500 mg/12 h, up to 14 days of antibiotic treatment from diagnosis.
  • Mepifilin solution, 50 mg/8 h as a bronchodilator, until subjective improvement. Patients with previous lung disease (asthma or COPD) used their usual bronchodilators.
  • If the patient experienced increased breathing difficulty, prednisone 1 mg/kg/day divided into two doses until clinical improvement, and then it was slowly tapered down.
  • Prophylactic treatment for close contacts, including all asymptomatic residents:
  • Antihistamines at the same dose as symptomatic patients.

……………….

With antihistamines I rotate since they become less effective over time if the same compound is taken constantly.

In a pinch, Primatene Mist (Epinephrine) an OTC can be used or Primatene tablets (Ephedrine HCl 12.5mg, guaifenesin 200mg. now behind the counter…). Interesting that Obama drove Primatene Mist off the market by banning the Freon they used as a propellant… AND it is a Pfizer product.

Guaifenesin – sold under the brand name Mucinex,or Robitussin is an expectorant, intended to loosen and thin phlegm to help cough out from the airways.

Zorro rides

I’m doing the program that Wheatie described, plus antihistamines and an asthma pill. I’ve gathered a supply of Ivermectin horse paste at our local farm/ ranch/ builders supply store. Pick a couple boxes off the shelf and go thru the checkout line. Nobody comments on it. No need to be greedy and take a whole carton. The 1% injectable (drinkable dosage) is usually out of supply, which seems unfair to the real horse owners.

The horsie gel is similar to vasoline but much lighter and not greasy. Not much taste to it at all. In the mouth it quickly spreads itself over cheeks, gums, tongue and palate. In a few minutes it disappears and is no longer detectable. Less yucky than I expected.

Gail Combs

GEE… that is not what my ponies say! I had a couple I just about had to hog tie to get the wormer down the throat. My big mare (1200#) reared up and knocked the wormer tube out of my hand…. Now I use the QUEST (moxidectin) and don’t have the fights.

Gail Combs

Wolfie, it could be a change in formulation. A lot of people switched to Quest even though it was more expensive just to avoid the fights!

Grandmaintexas

Elderberries are high in quercetin, which is why elderberry syrup is used for flu, etc.

Article here:
https://montanaelderberry.com/blogs/learn/elderberry-quercetin

I began growing elderberries summer before last. I got enough elderberries this year to last for a year (making syrup).

They grow wild all over the USA, but you need to be able to differentiate between them and chokeberries, etc.

Gail Combs

Wolfie,

Dr Zelenko addressed the four Ionophores that move zinc into the cells they are:

In order of usefulness:
Ivermectin [and maybe Moxidectin another Avermectin.] — BEST

HCQ – very good if used IMMEDIATELY

Quercetin PLUS vitamin C useful because it is non-prescription (IF you can find it!)

ECGC/green tea — also works.

Start @ 18 minutes for explanation of how zinc and ionophores work.

When I was looking for the above old Stew Peters interview with Dr Zelenko, I came across this.

LOTS of different topics and interviewees including Dr Zelenko. ALL GOOD there is a really horrible I GOTCHA at the end discussing the build back better bill just passed. The tax the rich crap is actually a TAX COMFORTABLY OFF SENIOR CITIZENS… YIKES!!!

Dr Zelenko now has children’s chewies coming out in 2022.

HCQ is tamed quinine — it’s got the lowest side-effects with the best effects. Use of quinine, itself, goes back a ways — treatment of malaria with quinine marks the first known use of a chemical compound to treat an infectious disease, back in (again) the 1500s. [ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quinine ]. Quinine, itself, has a number of unpleasant potential side effects. Tonic water has a small amount of quinine, but side effects from overconsumption of gin-and-tonics are likely to be a result of consuming gin, rather than quinine.

Back in the day, I took HCQ while on tropical diving vacations as prophylaxis to ward off malaria. It didn’t matter if I was going to be bitten by a malaria mosquito or not — HCQ is tame enough to take “just in case”. It is very effective in the early, early stages of COVID (as when Mr. gil gets a positive test), and is not totally worthless later. Ivermectin, by contrast, is helpful from before you’re exposed to when you’re on a ventilator and has even fewer side-effects.

You’re missing selenium. And your D dose should probably be 5000 IU.

I tend to do “stresstab” B-complex, but I believe that I have a familial difficulty in absorbing B-vitamins in my digestive system. I probably have some room for improvement.

wheatietoo

You’re missing selenium. And your D dose should probably be 5000 IU.

The Multi that I take has selenium…as well as a hefty list of B vitamins.
It’s from GNC; a Mega Multi for women over 50.

The D3 that I take is 5000 IU and I take at least one a day.

OK, how do you do the thumbs-up emoji? 👍

wheatietoo

Looks like you got it.

I would grab a vial of veterinary injection ivermectin and some dispensing syringes (I have, in fact — the only thing I have yet to get is the sterilizing alcohol*). The kind you want only has three ingredients, which you can look up as being safe to take orally. There is very little downside available if you take it for something COVID-ish that is not COVID.

You should be able to get this easily in OK. It’s usually marked for swine and cattle.

Please remember that ivermectin can be deadly poison to certain dogs, particularly herding dogs. If you end up using some, rinse everything and put it away from canines.

*…..and therein hangs a tale. My source for the syringes ( http://www.dispense-all.com ) was very responsive to all my weird questions and very helpful. But I’d still feel better if I could assemble the syringe, put it in a shotglass of consumable sterilizing alcohol (>70%), swirl it around to cover the outside of the needle, suck up about 200% of what I intended to use, and squirt it out into a sink. Then I could suck up the ivermectin, squirt it into a small glass, dilute, and drink.

I figured that I’d just use a small bottle of Bacardi 151 — it’s 75.5% alcohol and very drinkable. Back in college, I used to gargle with it as a stunt before swallowing (this is easy to botch, and can be very interesting around candles as it is flammable).

Except…..are you ready for this?…..you can’t buy small bottles of Bacardi 151 in California any more. So I’ve got the ivermectin and the syringes, but haven’t gotten around to getting a bottle of sterilizer yet.

rayzorback

You can NOT buy Bacardi 151 anywhere in the US anymore.
Don’t ask how I know 🙂

EllieLA

The only thing your syringe needle is going into is the Ivermectin bottle, since you are dispensing it into a cup and not injecting it. If you put the needle cap back on immediately after dispensing, you shouldn’t need to sterilize it.

“Am planning on going to my doctor next week to try to get some…and some HCQ.”

______________

You might save yourself a trip and $$$ by just calling and asking if they will prescribe HCQ or Ivermectin first.

I suspected my doctor would not (big, BIG mask fanboy with a terrible made-up answer when I confronted him over it), so I called and asked.

The nurse I spoke with said she didn’t think they would prescribe it, but she would check on it and get back to me. She called back the next day and ran down a list of MSM-approved reasons why HCQ and Ivermectin were bad Bad BAD, and said all I needed was the Vaxx.

I think I laughed out loud before I hung up 😂

wheatietoo

I may do that.
Thanks, Scott!

You’re very welcome Wheatie 😁

kalbokalbs

IIRC, Dr Z has likened Quercertin to, IF one does NOT have IVM or HCQ,a .22 (Quercitin) is the next best choice.

  • Plans A & B are IVM or HCQ.
  • Plan C IS Quercitin. (Third choice by priority – effectiveness)

Below IS the explanation, why IVM is superior to Quecertin.

  • Quercertin does NOT enter the lungs. IVM does enter the lungs.
  • IF Covid is IN the lungs, we NEED IVM to OPEN the virus, allowing the Zinc to kill the virus.

Yea, above is slow guy lay person speak. Not medical or scientist lingo.

singingsoul1

I do not have Ivermectine just the Z-Stack. I also take magnesium forgot that.
If I feel sick just double Z-stack and maybe some other things and hope for the best.

Aubergine

Be firm with your doctor. Insist they write a prescription for you. It took me half an hour of steadily stating my case for my doctor to write my HCQ prescription.

This is a Great Idea, Wolf. Thanks for making this happen!!!

We just got the book “The Practical Herbal Medicine Handbook’ by Althea Press. My grandpa’s sister’s middle name was Althea 🙂 I’m thinking of annotating the book w/ hints from Aubergine AND Gail Combs, at a minimum.

I’ve been looking online for old, preferably scanned images of the earliest Codex Alimentarius (which I thought was like a natural healing “bible”) to learn more.

My Aunt, a botanist, gave us a copy of her book on edible wild plants so I hope to review that for possible immune & health boosting properties.

I have started a draft Q-Tree post where I hoped to accumulate much of the material shared here in the Q-Tree (I was noticing some of the nutritional supplement material from Daughn’s work, for example) into an easier to access spot–this “project” might be significantly modified, or even scrapped, depending on how your post goes–it was to be my personal motivation to crunch the data necessary for our family, so it could segue into a sort of test case study of what we decided AND why, based on much of what comes into your post here.

I plan to review emails from someone who shared Covid overcoming strategies that worked for her & her church family, might share later today on this post.

I’m planning on harvesting All the rose hips in our yard from at least 4 species of rose.

I’m also working on a version of Vitamin C “tea” w/ citrus rinds.

I’m working on potential spiced chai tea recipes to enhance immune boosting properties.

Have been hoping to get Ivermectin &/or HCQ, but need to do more research, including checking drug interactions.

I made 2 different shopping trips in the last couple months to try to stock up on various things that have been recommended here, AND some that looked good. All of these items were bought at Wal-Mart or Meijer, with an attempt to keep costs down (generic or store brands where available).

We also have multi-vitamins at home to examine & analyze.

I’ve got some 7 day 2 slot pill boxes for my husband & I to set up potential regimens. It will take a decent amount of number crunching & possibly slowly introducing new items to test for tolerance. We don’t want to overdo anything & cause problems.

We usually have off-brand Zicam, Nyquil, Mucinex, & Airborne around for symptom treatment in cold/flu season. We have extra Vitamin C forms in use too.

I have poison control info for Josiah’s meds so have written down which type of anti-histamine or decongestant he was allowed to take before last year’s liver rejection (new meds added). I’ll need to run his current additional meds by poison control &/or the doctor(s) to ensure we don’t run into any issues with him in particular. He’s only allowed acetaminophen (Tylenol) for fever/pain (he’s already on baby aspirin for heart issues) & guaifenesin for coughs (NO DM, etc.) which is getting harder to find (generic G only).

Well I started composing this with the possibility of being first-Ha!

Valerie Curren

I spent a stinking long time organizing those purchases after hitting both stores & was going to hit the resale store for some type of basket to store them in. Then I realized I’d gotten a fairly large tote bag from another resale store that perfectly fits all of that stuff & keeps it contained but ready to grab & go whenever needed 🙂 Now it waits in my roomsize junk drawer (aka packrat overload) office so no dog, kid, or husband will mess with the stuff AND I might still remember where they all are even months down the road.

A couple items from Meijer & Wal-Mart, store brands, looked like they might be “best buys” for how much was packed into the package. Sometimes they were like half the cost of the name brand items & had virtually identical active ingredients…

Valerie Curren

Oh, on Quercetin, there was None at WM. The One bottle I found at Meijer rang up as “supplement” so it seemed like they were removing it from the shelves. Seems I read something about that at Q-Tree before.

Several items recommended here didn’t show up under Any Brand in either store. Meijer had a larger selection AND some of their items were on sometimes decent sales, like BOGO, but lots of prices were higher than I would prefer to pay.

Gail Combs

I haven’t seen a bottle of  Quercetin at Wally Mart for the last two years!!! Zinc was very tough to find too.

Valerie Curren

Darn, in composing the above comment there were places where the listing of ingredients was a secondary, indented bullet-point list, but that’s not how it looks as a comment 🙁

cthulhu

I am not a fan of acetaminophen. For anything, at any dosage. I consider its approval to be prima facie evidence of corruption at the FDA. I refuse to have it in my house.

Just start with https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paracetamol — “At a standard dose, paracetamol only slightly decreases body temperature; it is inferior to ibuprofen in that respect, and the benefits of its use for fever are unclear.” Continuing in the same article, “Paracetamol is effective for post-surgical pain, but it is inferior to ibuprofen.”

OK, it’s nearly useless, but why not?

*>Paracetamol toxicity is the foremost cause of acute liver failure in the Western world, and accounts for most drug overdoses in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand.

Paracetamol overdose results in more calls to poison control centers in the US than overdose of any other pharmacological substance.

According to the FDA, in the United States, “56,000 emergency room visits, 26,000 hospitalizations, and 458 deaths per year [were] related to acetaminophen-associated overdoses during the 1990s. Within these estimates, unintentional acetaminophen overdose accounted for nearly 25% of the emergency department visits, 10% of the hospitalizations, and 25% of the deaths.”<*

When approved, acetaminophen had the smallest gap between “clinical dose” [when it does something useful that can be detected] and “LD-50” [Lethal Dose 50% — when the dose kills half of the subjects] of any OTC substance. Incidentally, it’s also fatal for felines and reptiles.

Acetaminophen is frequently hidden in other products, from Alka-Seltzer Plus to Theraflu [ https://www.knowyourdose.org/common-medicines/ ] and its toxic effects can be amplified by alcohol consumption. This can lead to scenarios where someone thinks they have an upset stomach (Alka-Seltzer Plus) and pain from workout (Tylenol), but needs to help serve a formal dinner (Tylenol #2) and has some drinks with the dinner, but thinks they may be catching something before they go to sleep (Theraflu and Tylenol #3). It is far too easy to use very dangerous amounts of this substance without alarms being raised.

I’m not a doctor or a pharmacist, but I can’t imagine a reason this drug would be approved for Josiah (or anyone else in the country) under any circumstances. I’d love to hear their explanation of why this might be appropriate.

A friend almost died of liver failure from Tylenol. He took 2 doses forgetting he had already taken the first dose earlier. He was in such bad shape they had his sister fly in from out of state to say goodbye.

For older people where ‘brain fog’ Tylenol.can be a problem as it seems like a killer waiting to happen. Funny it is the ONLY pain killer the doctor will ALLOW my hubby, who is on blood thinners, to take.

rayzorback

I too am on Blood Thinners….. My Dr told me to avoid Tylenol whenever possible.

Gail Combs

Yeah, I wonder about that doctor. Warfarin and acetaminophen interaction: a summary of the evidence and biologic plausibilityhttps://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5524527/

….

Luckily Hubby rarely take the stuff.

I looked up CBD oil as a possible alternative but NOT GOOD either:
CBD and Warfarin: Can You Safely Mix Them Together?
The above article has a lot of other useful info on interactions to warfarin.

rayzorback

Thanks for that info.
YOU… are a Great source of KNOWLEDGE here 🙂

Valerie Curren

AMEN!!!

singingsoul1

My husband is on blood thinner and cannot take Tylenol. Anything he takes has to go through his doctor. Not a bad thing since they put him on Vitamin D3, C, and Magnesium. I do not know what else he is on but they monitor him closely.
Seems to be working his kidney function are almost back to normal.

Valerie Curren

You make excellent points! All I know regarding J’s meds is they said NO ibuprophen & you can use tylenol. I’ll try to ask further about it based on what you shared next time we see an appropriate provider.

Aubergine

That is an awesome list!

Valerie Curren

Thanks. I was just reading off the stuff from all these Unopened items I’ve accumulated. Putting them to use AND evaluating their effectiveness or enjoyment might take me like Forever 🙂

Hey I hope you saw that Turmeric Chai Tea link I shared elsewhere on this post for you were in mind as someone who might be able to evaluate the source person/blog as to if their stuff might be worth digging into…

Here’s the description of the author:

ABOUT ANDREA
Frugally Sustainable is a resource for all things natural, frugal, and sustainable. If you like DIY and are bit “crunchy”, this site is for you!

AND a link to that chai tea recipe

https://frugallysustainable.com/building-your-medicine-chest-turmeric/?utm_campaign=yummly&utm_medium=yummly&utm_source=yummly

Aubergine

I checked it out, and it will take awhile to go through it all! Great site. I like the Homesteading articles.

Not just the turmeric in that tea is good for you! Cinnamon lowers blood pressure and benefits diabetes (so does clove), cardamom is good for digestion, and ginger is good for almost everything!

Thanks for sharing it. I love chai tea anyway, and it would be fun to make my own recipe.

Valerie Curren

“Thanks for sharing it. I love chai tea anyway, and it would be fun to make my own recipe.”

YW That is where I’m at right now. I was missing my spiced chai tea & making do w/ some vanilla chai tea we had. I was adding cinnamon sugar, ginger, cloves, & nutmeg to give it more of the spiced vibe. It got me thinking that it could be enhanced in different ways, depending on one’s taste &/or health needs.

I really like having that spiced chai tea when feeling under the weather. Just like black licorice, using that drink helps me feel better.

If you do end up coming up w/ your own recipe I really hope you share it here. Honestly, you could be the Perfect Author in the Wolf Pack to put together an Immune Defense Recipe post!!!

Aubergine

Hmmmm….good idea. I will have to mull it over.

Yum, mull…mulled cider. Also very healthy!

Valerie Curren

Yum! My mom made an epic spiced cider a few years back w/ orange slices, cinnamon sticks, & other seasonings. I threw those cinnamon sticks, once they’d dried, into our cinnamon sugar shaker to keep hold of that continuing yumminess!

Aubergine

I’m going to have to make some now, for sure!

When’s the harvest party? <3

Spoke w/ my dad the other day about Josiah’s Vitamin D issues. He recounted his own Vit. D journey. He used to walk seven miles a day AND be outside for hours almost every day, even so his D was low. His doc put him on a supplement, which he took in addition to walking & outdoor activities. After a year he got tested again & it was still low, or just into the very low normal range.

The doc told him that it’s much better to be in the high end of normal for Vit. D. They got supplement tips from a nurse friend who had gotten Guillan-Barre so she advised them on the amounts to be taking which they commenced to take.

Dad says his doc will no longer test his blood levels because he doesn’t think it’s important at my dad’s age (he’s 82)! Perhaps someone hoping to cull the “useless eaters”. Whatever!

I mentioned reading here about how to order our own blood tests so he could monitor his own levels of things if need be. Hopefully someone might post that info here too as a side benefit for us if we get serious about tweaking our Individual Needs AND Plans!

TakeBackOurRepublic

I’ve been very happy using Requestatest.com. You can search for tests and pricing is shown using either LabCorp or Quest. The one you want to test Vitamin D level is the Vitamin D, 25-Hydroxy Blood Test. LabCorp pricing is $75 versus Quest pricing at $59. Purchase the test you want and then take the req to the testing site. Results are always private.
Your dad needs a new doctor! Vitamin D levels are critically important in our elderly!

If anyone is taking a multivitamin, make sure you’re not overdosing on anything with other supplements.

I’ve been taking a regular multivitamin that has among lots of other things:

1,000IU of Vitamin D3
120mg Vitamin C
15mg of Zinc

I have been supplementing that with:

Vitamin D3 (2,000IU) soft gels
Vitamin C (1,000mg) (Zelenko says 1,000mg per day IIRC)
Zinc Picolinate (25mg)
Quercetin Zinc (which includes 22mg of Zinc, 800mg Quercetin)

I didn’t realize I was tripling up on the Zinc until I was running low on a couple of supplements and checking prices online for reorder. Zelenko’s Z-pak, if ordered on subscription, is $1.65 a day, but if you shop around and buy separates, you can get the same active ingredients for around $0.30 a day through iHerb.com (cheapest I found so far).

Combined, I had been taking a total of:

3,000IU Vitamin D (Zelenko Protocol is 5,000IU once per day)
1,120mg Vitamin C (Zelenko Protocol is 500mg twice per day, but his Z-Pak has 800mg)
800mg Quercetin (Zelenko Protocol is 500mg once per day)
62mg Zinc (Zelenko Protocol is 25mg once per day, but his Z-Pak has 30mg)

I found this caution, I think it was on Zelenko’s Z-pak web-page: 40 mg/day of Zinc can DEPLETE copper and iron in the body so be aware of prolonged zinc intake.

I had been taking sixty-two mg per day, which according to my mathulator, is practically 22mg more than 40.

So I probably have depleted copper and iron now. I stopped overdosing on Zinc about 4 days ago. 😁

Never noticed any ill effects either way, not when taking too much, and not when I backed off by 25mg/day. I stopped taking the Zinc Picolinate (25mg), but still taking daily multivitamin (15mg) and the Quercetin capsule that includes 22mg zinc. Next round of supplements will have Quercetin without added zinc, and a zinc supplement of 15mg, so total zinc will be 30mg/day.

I started the Ivermectin tablets (doctor prescribed by phone consultation, via FLCCC listed doctor) about 4 weeks ago when I thought I might be getting sick. I felt better the next day, don’t know if the Ivermectin worked that fast or whether whatever it was (if it wasn’t China virus) might have gone away without the Ivermectin. I kept taking the Ivermectin as prescribed, once a week, since we’re heading into peak viral season.

I have liquid Ivermectin (injectable to take orally) as a back-up, but I would rather use prescribed tablets for as long as I can still get them.

The injectable type goes a long way. According to a chart posted here before, the liquid Ivermectin (1%) is 10mg per ml., and the dose (for example) for a 150Lb person = 1.4ml.

So a 250ml bottle of Ivermectin would provide 178 treatments/doses at that weight.

I wanted to be able to provide treatment both the members of our congregation and my own immediate family, if it became necessary.

I was overly optimistic that family and/or congregation would wake up at some point. Unfortunately most haven’t, and apparently won’t be. Most are “by the book”, and it doesn’t seem to matter that the ‘book’ was written by Billy G. & the Depops.

So I should have plenty for myself now 👍 😁

Zorro_rides

For some reason I get out of bed early and then go back to sleep. Other men do this too, I’ve heard. This turns out to be perfect timing for a couple chelated copper tablets. Copper needs to be separated from zinc and selenium in order to have its turn at bat for assimilation. Hey fellahs, since you’re already up …

Gail Combs

That is interesting.

I do not bother with copper since my well water has copper.

cthulhu

It is important to avoid overdosing certain nutrients, but it gets complicated.

You cannot overdose C. Anything superfluous ends up in your urine. You CAN use C inappropriately because it will bond to many other nutrients and inhibit use — it’s also known as ascorbic acid and will tend to bond to metals.

It is difficult to overdose vitamin D. Your body can synthesize it from sunlight and will slack when it has plenty.

It is possible to overdose on vitamin A — https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0736467914014449 — but most people take beta carotene supplements (which the body can convert to vitamin A) instead of A….and when the body has enough A, it merely stops converting.

singingsoul1

My eye meds have cooper in it beside zinc. Z pack and use my eye meds and When I take Zelenko meds I do not take eye meds.
My sinuses are doing well so I stop Zelenko meds take my eye meds plus C and D3.
One has to listen to the body. For myself I have to take a break from vitamins just for a week or so. I do eat lots of fish from fresh caught salmon to herring and sardines to mackerel and other fish. I also eat 4oz at a time of beef , chicken, lamb and pork. I eat 1 egg most days and some cheeses and lots of vegetables. No cakes no sugar no wheat no bread.
I disciplined myself to holidays to eat a little of the things that I normally do not. This makes holidays even more special and the food more tasty. I now understand in time gone past when people did not have much how it enhanced the holidays.

Grandmaintexas

You have pinpointed several weaknesses in my plan, Wolf.

Thank you for this post. I am very interested in getting a test to see if I’ve already had Covid. I suspect so because other family members came down with it in the last couple months but I did not.

Of course I have been popping supplements for a year now. 😁

I really need to organize my “war” chest and see if I’m taking too much zinc, too.

I do have a stash of the Cure and was able to share a bottle of zinc and Vitamin D as well with a contractor who obviously had Covid but was rightly terrified to admit it and risk ending up in the hospital.

I offered the meds. He seemed interested but didn’t take them at first. Next day he came back and asked for them. He had a hacking cough and couldn’t breathe, sleep, etc.

Told him the dosages to take and he saw improvement by the next day. The Cure works. The sooner the better.

In my small experience, if you are in the middle of Covid, taking a larger dose for a few days helps get you through to the end. A regular or prophylactic dose is not as effective once you have full blown Covid.

I am talking about the 1% stuff. The prophylactic dose is 1cc for every 100/110 pounds.

That contractor was running around our house for days before and during his illness. Also, extended family were diagnosed around the same time, so the Coof paid quite the visit to my domicile.

Grandpa and me did fine.

THERAPEUTICS!

Linda

From what I’ve gleaned from Dr. Zelenko and the Frontline doctor protocol, the therapeutic dose is twice as much as the prophylactic dose.

RAC

Yes that’s how I understood it also, nice and easy to remember.

Grandmaintexas

Yes!

CMinTN

Wife and I have been taking vitamin C, D3, zinc, selenium, quercetin, and magnesium. Occasionally take a multi vitamin and iron. Have been taking most of this since this whole thing started and allegy sniffles is about the worst illness we’ve had. We both work in a public, “super spreader” type of workplace and have not been following mask protocals and distancing like we are required. We have been fine.

The only ones sick here are the ones who took the shots. One co-worker is still recovering from the first dose. It almost killed him and he is not to take the second or any boosters per his doctor.

Fantastic post Wolf. I used this sight when I wasn’t able to use TS sight for ivermectin. Quick turnaround when I used them.

Amazon is where I got mine

Gail Combs

I use:
https://www.jefferspet.com/pages/livestock

For much of my livestock supplies includding syringes.

WIERD!!!

I typed Jeffers in a new tab and before I could type livestock, an AMAZON PAGE CAME UP!!!

F..CK AMAZON and Jeff BEZOS!

EllieLA

I got mine at Amazon too. You only need to get 2.5mL or 3mL size syringes, because a 3mL dose is for someone who is 330 pounds. On Amazon you have to buy a pack of them, but they are not too expensive. The needle size should be 18 Guage. I, at first, bought a thinner guage, but it was difficult to suck the liquid out of the bottle. 18 Guage needle is perfect – also available on Amazon in packs.

Brave and Free

Thanks to all, and yeah F amz.
I’ve been taking NAC 500mg, D3 5000 iu (occasionally) in AM and C+Quercectin 500mg/250mg, Selenium 200mg and Zink 50mg at dinner time. Magnesium 250mg at bed time with melatonin 5mg.
Open for input on that, I am out in the sun a lot and hit the gym every other day for hour and half or two.

Brave and Free

Oh yeah and have Ivm. paste and liquid for the swine too, plus a fresh bottle of zertec.

OK, my NOTES AGAIN 🤓😜🙃 ( but not all 67 pages….)

Jan 26, 2020 Vitamin C Protects Against Coronavirus

The physicians of the Orthomolecular Medicine News Service and the International Society for Orthomolecular Medicine urge a nutrient-based method to prevent or minimize symptoms for future viral infection. The following inexpensive supplemental levels are recommended for adults; for children reduce these in proportion to body weight:

Vitamin C: 3,000 milligrams (or more) daily, in divided doses.

Vitamin D3: 2,000 International Units daily. (Start with 5,000 IU/day for two weeks, then reduce to 2,000)

meta-analysis of vitamin D as protection against pulmonary infections:

https://www.bmj.com/content/356/bmj.i6583

Magnesium: 400 mg daily (in citrate, malate, chelate, or chloride form)

Zinc: 20 mg daily

Selenium: 100 mcg (micrograms) daily

Vitamin C [1], Vitamin D [2], magnesium [3], zinc [4], and selenium [5] have been shown to strengthen the immune system against viruses.

The basis for using high doses of vitamin C to prevent and combat virus-caused illness may be traced back to vitamin C’s early success against polio, first reported in the late 1940s.[6] Many people are unaware, even surprised, to learn this. Further clinical evidence built up over the decades, leading to an anti-virus protocol published in 1980.[7]

It is important to remember that preventing and treating respiratory infections with large amounts of vitamin C is well established. Those who believe that vitamin C generally has merit, but massive doses are ineffective or somehow harmful, will do well to read the original papers for themselves. To dismiss the work of these doctors simply because they had success so long ago sidesteps a more important question: Why has the benefit of their clinical experience not been presented to the public by responsible governmental authorities, especially in the face of a viral pandemic?

Therapeutic opportunities of edible antiviral plants for COVID-19 (Science Paper)
…………….

These naturally-occurring, whole food-derived substances with proven coronavirus-inhibiting properties are discussed below: [I added scientific papers to these recommendations from https://greenmedinfo.com/blog/studies-find-natural-treatments-coronavirus ]

………………………..

  • Flavonoids. The activity of coronavirus proteases is a key factor in coronaviruses’ ability to propagate in cells. Flavonoids, however, directly inhibit coronavirus protease activity, resulting in decreased virus propagation (4). The flavonoids with the highest virus inhibitory power appear to be herbacetin, isobavachalcone, quercetin 3‐β‐d‐glucoside, and helichrysetin.
  • Chameleon plant (Houttuynia cordata). In one animal study, Chameleon plant aqueous extract demonstrated significant antiviral activity against the SARS-coronavirus in vivo (5). The study also found that the herb stimulated the proliferation of mouse splenic lymphocytes in a dose-dependent manner, suggesting it also functions as an immunomodulatory plant (5).
  • Immunomodulatory and anti-SARS activities of Houttuynia cordata

……………

  • Chinese medicine preparations. Chinese medicine has been frequently used as an adjunct therapy to treat SARS patients, as evidenced by a Cochrane systematic review that concluded Chinese Medicine as an adjunct therapy “may improve symptoms, quality of life and absorption of pulmonary infiltration, and decrease the corticosteroid dosage for SARS patients” (6). Another study has also proposed ShuFengJieDu Capsules and Lianhuaqingwen Capsule as a potentially effective treatment for 2019 novel coronavirus, considering previous studies demonstrating their ability to both treat and prevent respiratory infectious viruses (7).

On licorice, I used to Love using Luden’s black licorice throat drops when feeling poorly. I still am drawn toward Good & Plenty when a little under the weather. My body must “crave” black licorice when fighting something. Haven’t seen Luden’s licorice in Many Years 🙁

That’s the comment I put on yesterday’s daily that starts a series of comments with the links to the NIH pages that tell of ivermectin being investigated as a treatment option. The physician who brought the information out recommends printing out the pages and having them ready if you have to go to the hospital.

He also has a daily supplement list that jives with the others.

As for me:

Benadryl in the cabinet
Daily supplements of C and D3 as well as a multi-vitamin.
Whole foods
Exercise six days a week

I am POSITIVE I’ve had the original bug, which petered out, and that the Influenza A I had last year is what is making the rounds right now since lockdowns would have stymied the spread. I also think it’s juiced up as that was the worst flu I’ve ever had. I don’t trust the tests to tell us anything.

Deplorable Patriot

The other thing about me not to forget is age. I’m pretty sure I’m one of the younger ones around here. That might be why I was able to fight that first one – the bug where I lost taste and smell and had a two month cough – pretty easily. It was the flu that was the knockout with the high fever, stomach issues, magnified senses, needed extra iron, etc.

TakeBackOurRepublic

In preparation for being exposed or getting COVID, I built a war chest: Ivermectin, HCQ, Budesonide, a piston powered nebulizer to be used with hydrogen peroxide (Dr. Mercola’s protocol), Zyrtec, Quercetin, Zinc, Tagamet 200, L-Lysine and NAC. My daily vitamins are Core Med Science Liposomal B Complex Multivitamin, Curcu-Gel Ultra (Curcumin), Liposomal D3/K2 5,000 iu , Liposomal Vitamin C, probiotics with DDS-1, and magnesium.

I got exposed to my son Sunday November 7th before he had any symptoms. He’d been on a surfing trip to the other coast of Florida with two of his older buddies, both fully vaxxed. They were together in an enclosed car for 5 hours. All three came down with COVID on Tuesday, but they blamed it on my son since he’s unvaxxed (media programming).

Just a couple days later I developed an excruciating headache. (At this point my son was was sick.) My headache started Tuesday and lasted through Wednesday. I had some body aches at this point and a very painful lower back ache (kidneys?). This is when I started taking Ivermectin, Zyrtec, Quercetin, Zinc, Tagamet and upped my Vitamin C. By Thursday morning the headache was gone but I was bedridden with fever, chills, a wracking wheezy (unproductive cough) that left my diaphragm sore, dizziness, and the worst all over body aches I’ve ever experienced. Even my eyeballs hurt from pressure in my head. Friday morning I lost taste and smell. Coffee shouldn’t taste like burnt hair! This is when I took the Binax Antigen test which double lined positive immediately. I was a little stunned considering all of my precautions and the fact that I’d been taking Ivermectin prophylactically every week since last May.

I felt a little better Friday night and thought I was turning a corner but Saturday morning I woke up feeling as terrible as Thursday and most concerning was the backside of my lungs felt like they were on fire. I do have high blood pressure that remains high even with medication so I have that risk factor. Then I was reminded that here in the great state of Florida our Governor DeSantis made monoclonal antibodies available. I made an appointment and got Regeneron that very same day (this past Saturday). Thank you Gov. DeSantis!!!

The treatment stopped the burning in my lungs immediately so I’m thinking I really dodged a bullet. Oddly my skin has been super sensitive and I don’t know whether that’s a COVID thing or if it was caused by the drugs in monoclonal antibody treatment.. Yesterday, COVID Day 8, I’m finally feeling better, the brain fog is better, and I’m getting taste and smell back. But I’m really weak and without energy. Standing or walking through the house for 5 minutes is exhausting. I’ve heard it can take up to a month to get full energy back. At the end of this tunnel is lifetime immunity!

I want to mention something that may be unique only to Florida in regards to the monoclonal antibodies. They specifically state that you qualify to receive it AT NOT COST if you (1) have COVID via positive test or symptoms (they do not ask for proof nor do they retest you), or (2) don’t have COVID or symptoms but have been exposed to someone who has COVID. Because I exposed both my husband and elderly father-in-law, they were both eligible and received treatment yesterday to PREVENT COVID!

Thank you for your detailed COVID acct of your experience. We’re getting ready to travel to Va., near DC. We’ve been taking Ivermectin and HCQ prophylactically. We’ve been on all suggested supplements since this started. Using the FLCCC protocol, also Dr. Stella, and Dr. Z. Got latest stash from India. Plan to place another order soon. The government will find a way to shut down that source. We’ll be staying with both vaccinated and ones that have had COVID. All family. Am looking forward to our T’Giving.

TakeBackOurRepublic

You’re welcome. Stay safe and healthy and enjoy your family!

singingsoul1

Good topic and it is good to check and see what is missing in the stash.
I have begun to use the Dr Zelenko Z-Stack and have a 6 month supply..
I love it says on the bottle “Dont Worry Z Health”

I have Selenium, Vitamin C 1000mg, E 5000U, Q10 . Take Kefir 1/2 small glass twice a day because keep good gut health. I have some Antihistamine, Black seed oil and Aspirin. Also eat 3-4 times a week seaweed. I am intermittent fasting that I will keep because I feel better have more energy.
For me personally it is not one thing it is a overall plan. I do not like to rely on just pills never have. Drink lots of water with lemon and mineral water Geroldsteiner. Also drink a variety of teas herbal and green and mix herbal with black name it.I do not focus just on one. I believe I had covid but stranger things have happen when one thinks. 🙂
I printed some directions of doctors and wrote on it what not to let a hospital administer.
This direction is for my husband and I so when we are in a situation we are sure what we want and need.

Terrific thread, Wolf. Thanks to all who have contributed. Much can be learned, most importantly to trust one another on here. 👍

First, neither my wife or I have experienced a respiratory illness since the Feb/March timeframe of 2020, which was probably some version of COVID as I have stated on here before.

As to daily protocol, I keep my body guessing with the exception of Xyzal (my antihistamine of choice), Quercetin and Nattokinase; which I take daily along with drinking a cup or two of green tea. For years I took Melatonin nightly, but now alternate it due to sleep disruptions from when I was taking it daily.

If I feel a bit run down or have the sniffles, which are primarily allergies related, I take extra D and C and sometimes zinc. Clears up before the day is done. Due to a stabilized macular degeneration condition (hereditary), I take AREDS2 at least 4 days a week. That generally handles my zinc and some other vitamin needs. I take a multi two times per week along with magnesium and selenium – doing them on different days. I have one “clean” day – nothing but the Xyzal, Quercetin and Nattokinase. I try to do that on a day filled with sunshine that I enjoy outside.

My prophylactic is TS horse paste. Simple, easy to use, inexpensive. I initially did a dose on the first and third days, then began the weekly dose and have been doing it for about 3 months now. Our docs have been informed we will do telemedicine for Z-pacs if we need them, which have not been needed in over a year and a half.

My wife does it differently. She is a Young Living essential oils devotee. She takes a good multi and extra calcium with D3 daily. She drinks the NINGXLA daily, which is robust in good stuff. She takes YL’s immune system supplement. She drinks the green tea and does an antihistamine as needed, usually in a Flonase type form and if feeling worse, Zyrtec. She has a zillion tested allergies, yet, gets through life amazingly well.

We generally only take Alleve (Naproxen) for any pain relief as needed and neither of us have headaches despite the allergies.

My wife does the Netti and I do the Navage at least a couple of times per week when we have been out in the public. We are both retired, so we add to all that with daily exercise of some sort, loving the Lord, and going anywhere and doing anything our hearts desire without a mask.

Valerie Curren

Beautiful. I like the idea of mixing things up too. Whenever I get our data crunched & set up the pill boxes it will likely be changing up w/ different things on different days.

I used to be a regular faster, like one day a week, for most of my younger, pre-kids life. Now being a type 2 diabetic I’ve never even attempted a true fast (which is technically an important Christian discipline) so would like to look into how to do that relatively safely.

I regularly drink water w/ lemon &/or lime in it. Last winter I saved lots of citrus rinds in a large mug of water in the fridge & would heat it in the microwave AND drink that warm citrusy water when feeling poorly. It was pretty soothing.

Nowadays I’ll suck on a vitamin C gummy whenever feeling a little run down & that seems to help a bit. Moderation & variety seem to be key to a balanced life. 🙂 God at the center is of course the true key to great living here & in eternity!

Gail Combs

“… I saved lots of citrus rinds in a large mug of water in the fridge & would heat it in the microwave…”

Sounds like a homegrown method of making quercetin.

https://rumble.com/vi39dp-homemade-quercetin.html

2018 Oct 16. Improved Oral Absorption of Quercetin from Quercetin Phytosome®, a New Delivery System Based on Food Grade Lecithin

Abstract

Background and Objectives

The importance of quercetin and flavonoids in the diet and as food supplements is well known, and literature studies support their potential use to treat several human diseases. Many beneficial properties have been described for quercetin, so much effort has been directed into overcoming the major drawbacks of this natural compound—its poor solubility and low oral absorption. The aims of this study were to compare a new food-grade lecithin-based formulation of quercetin, Quercetin Phytosome®, to unformulated quercetin in terms of solubility in simulated gastrointestinal fluids and oral absorption in a randomized crossover pharmacokinetic study of healthy volunteers….

.

.

…Quercetin Phytosome consists of quercetin and sunflower lecithin in a 1:1 weight ratio along with about a fifth part of food-grade excipients that are added to improve the physical state of the product and to standardize it to a HPLC-measured total quercetin content of about 40% (patent application no. 171816341)…

.

.

Conclusions

A more soluble formulation of quercetin based on lecithin, Quercetin Phytosome, has recently been developed, and was found to facilitate the attainment of very high plasma levels of quercetin—up to 20 times more than usually obtained following a dose of quercetin—when the novel formulation was administered orally in human volunteers, and it did not have any notable side effects. These results suggest that Quercetin Phytosome allows the oral administration of quercetin in a safe and bioavailable manner, thus facilitating the effective utilization of this natural compound to treat various human diseases.

WIKI: Lecithin is a generic term to designate any group of yellow-brownish fatty substances occurring in animal and plant tissues which are amphiphilic – they attract both water and fatty substances, and are used for smoothing food textures, emulsifying, homogenizing liquid mixtures, and repelling sticking materials.”

Lecithin is a mixture of fats that are essential to cells in the human body. It can be found in many foods, including soybeans and egg yolks.

In the diet, lecithin is the main source of choline, a nutrient similar to the B vitamins. Lecithin is converted into acetylcholine, a substance that transmits nerve impulses.

People use lecithin for Alzheimer disease and dementia, Parkinson disease, and many other conditions, but there is no good scientific evidence to support these uses…

https://www.webmd.com/vitamins/ai/ingredientmono-966/lecithin

SO it looks like, if you eat eggs for breakfast, that maybe the best time to take your Quercetin.

Funny how a citrus drink/fruit and eggs and bacon used to be a traditional breakfast, at least in my Mother’s house.

Valerie Curren

More great stuff Gail!

I’m thinking of attempting a spreadsheet to keep track of some of this info for myself.

What ways do you use to organize the amazing amounts of info you share here??? I’d love some tips from a True Master 😉

Gail Combs

A very good memory! 🤓

I toss the stuff I want into a LibraOffice Writer text document and add key words to the headers like virus, covid, vitamins…. Then I use the find function to locate what I am looking for like ‘Vitamin’ or  ‘Messonnier’

Remember her? Nancy Messonnier CDC director is the sister of Rod Rosenstein and she was the one who flubbed the early Covid testing so the bio-weapon could get a solid foothold in the USA.

Valerie Curren

Thanks!!! My memory is pretty much crap now 😉 I have way too many files in my head & am very much a “messy organized” person…

I really hope to develop some systematic way to input this info in a way that I personally can manage & then apply it person-by-person in my family…we’ll see.

You & Aubergine really are the dynamic duo in providing pertinent info AND combining research AND recall techniques. Remember when she did some genealogical deep digs on some of the deep state. Wonder if she ever went spelunking 😉 on Messonnier?

Aubergine

No, I haven’t. But I might take a look around if I get a chance.

If you don’t hear back from me on stuff like that, it means I didn’t find anything. Sometimes I can’t. Some of these people are ghosts. I encounter ghosts in the distant past, too, but that’s because of normal, non-nefarious reasons. I think the modern ones are on purpose. Not even that they’ve been scrubbed, because a lot of the places I look probably couldn’t be scrubbed without giving away that they were doing it. Some of these people have no past.

I have seen that especially with foreigners who claim to have been born in America. They weren’t in some cases, I am convinced. The records should be there, and are not.

Gail Combs

“… The records should be there, and are not….”

I remember reading that the Communists ?Bill Ayers? were going around and finding babies who had died, applying for the birth certificates and then given those to Soviet KGB agents who came to the USA as adults.

Thus you would have ‘Ghosts’ The birth record is real but nothing else…. Obama comes to mind.

I recently saw on Bannon’s War Room a guy who was IN THE SAME YEAR AND SAME DISCIPLINE AND SAME CLASSES as Obama but never ever saw him. He asked his professors and THEY never saw Obama EITHER. No wonder they ‘sealed’ his records!

Valerie Curren

Was that Wayne Allen Root? Funny you mentioned these things as I hadn’t seen your comment while writing my bullet-pointed aka BHO comment just now…hmmm

Gail Combs

Yes, I think it was.

Valerie Curren

Thx 🙂

Aubergine

Another one I see is people claiming to be born here, but where the birth record should exist, it doesn’t. Those kinds of databases, once they are out of the hands of the state, as many of them are, should be difficult to tamper with.

Valerie Curren

Boy would I Thoroughly Enjoy any digs you might have done or will do on aka BHO Barry Soetoro aka Soebarka aka Harrison J. Bounell.

Things I recall being “off” about him AND his family:

  • No legit draft card, forged date stamp
  • Subub cult connection, Indonesia (Loretta Fuddy death in Hawaii)
  • Stanley Ann Dunham pregnancy dates & locations different than official story, education in Hawaii & Washington state
  • Kenyan birth, in Kenyan gov’t records
  • Kenyan step grandmother attesting to attending his birth in Kenya
  • aka BHO’s conservative brother, forget his name, that blows whistle on many of the BHO fictions
  • “father” Barak Obama Sr not his bio dad AND came to Hawaii on some dubious East/West cultural exchange program
  • possible bio dad of that card carrying Commie out of Chicago (the Real source of his Father’s Commie “Dreams”) Frank Marshall Davis (who wrote a book about sexually “molesting” “Ann” AND there are porno pics of teenage Stanley Ann)
  • possible bio connection to the Indonesian Subud cult leader
  • aka BHO’s Indonesian citizenship through his adoption by Lolo Soetoro AND Muslim education in Indonesia
  • His Indonesian Tranny Nanny
  • Stanley Dunham, his grandfather or perhaps bio dad w/ unknown black mother, connected to theft of aircraft drawings & spying for enemies in WWII, iirc, out of Kansas &/or CIA connections
  • Bill Ayers ghost writing aka BHO’s seminal works (Jack Cashill did reams of analysis on this) AND being a major supporter of his political career
  • Stanley Ann’s connection to the Ford Foundation, I believe
  • Choom Gang
  • British intelligence admitting on video that they have DNA proof that BHO isn’t who he says he is
  • convenient death of his white grandmother AND loss of records & knowledge on the cusp of his “election”
  • Connecticut Social Security card AND the government changing the rules of how SS#’s are assigned to Hide the origins of people now.
  • Property anomalies in Chicago I think connected to that Muslim guy who was on film revealing negative stuff about “BHO” & which video was suppressed by media to not upset the election
  • Breitbart’s assassination on the cusp of revealing the info about BHO’s origins, iirc
  • Hannity’s backing off of promise the expose the origins info he had, “they” got to him & pressured him to stand down
  • Passport records theft w/ McCain & aka BHO & Hillary (I think) & the murder of Liutenant Quarles Harrison (or close to that name, L was a name Not a title)
  • Who funded his education, Muslim hidden hand
  • Punahow exclusive grade school, who greased the skids there
  • Some connection to an identity to someone born in the 1880’s, possibly w/ the Harrison J. Bounell name
  • No proof of a legal name change to “Barak Hussein Obama” from Barry Soetoro, so the Entire aka BHO pResidency was a legal AND constitutional fiction!
  • Pakistani travel in the ’80’s when Americans weren’t allowed there
  • No real Columbia University attendance (dug into by Wayne Allen Root)
  • Gay bar stuff in Chicago & Larry Sinclair
  • “Beard” service through Rev. Wright’s church providing “normie” cover for multiple pervs
  • Black Liberation Theology (cultural marxism?) being what allowed aka BHO to call himself “Christian”
  • Nearly all records of aka BHO’s past scrubbed or hidden
  • Passport records of his mother’s travels “lost”, when Barry would have been on her stuff
  • Manifestly forged “certificate of live birth” w/ Hawaiian twin sisters records used to expose aspects of the fraud
  • Convenient timing of the “Bin Laden” raid to remove focus on the “Certificate of Live Birth” fiasco & fraud
  • The fact that Donald Trump zeroed in on Barry’s background & birth certificate issues, iirc. This could be a reason that aka BHO holds such personal animus for Trump, at least in part. ALSO if DJT was focusing on that background stuff it probably IS Still Important!
  • Alleged aka BHO birth records hidden, even to possible tampering w/ newspaper archives (gets my genealogy radar pinging)
  • source & purpose of his “wedding” ring
  • Nancy Pelosi using a different “eligibility” document in Hawaii to claim that aka BHO was OK to run for Pres, leaving off the Constitutionally qualified clause

OK, obviously I could go On AND On on that specific topic. It seems that there were Many Factual underpinnings to things discovered by Orly Taitz, Joseph Farah, Jack Cashill, Wayne Allen Root, Leo Donofrio, the guy who wrote the Swift Boat Vets book AND was detained in Kenya on his fact-finding travels (edit Jerome Corsi?), AND the many people who filed suit against aka BHO–I think that included the black conservative guy who contested aka BHO’s 1st election as state senator in Illinois (forget his name but he ran for prez himself at one point).

You digging AND organizing the anomalies AND finding “proof” of the forces making these changes AND who might be behind this person & his rise to illegitimate power could Still be Revelatory since aka BHO is behind the first curtain behind Bye-Done (but not necessarily really pulling the actual levers of power)…

Missed my edit time, but I think Alan Keyes was the black presidential candidate & per Wickipoop he ran in 1996, 2000, & 2008.

I believe his lawsuits against aka BHO had Standing because he was personally injured by the ineligible candidate on the ballot. Don’t know if there was ever a trial on the merits.

Oh, for all the Natural Born Citizenship connected lawsuits against aka BHO, I’m pretty sure that Perkins-Coie were part of the defense team–hmmm!

Aubergine

I believe BHO is entirely fiction. Not one thing claimed about his life is real. Not one.

That said, he has had world-class people reinvent him for almost ALL of his life. I truly believe he was chosen VERY early for his role. Which is all it is, is a role.

Listened to over the years, it is completely apparent that BHO is a nothing intellectually. He has been trained in NLP pretty extensively, I think, but that is all he has. Every “important” thing he ever said was written for him. He is a shell of a person, a non-entity on his own.

I have long thought that I couldn’t find anything on him, because I think a certain “alphabet” agency, along with their allies around the world, created him out of nothing, and sealed, hid, or destroyed any “real” records on him. People don’t remember him in places he was “supposed to be” because he wasn’t there. The records were put in place to say he was, but he wasn’t.

BHO was an illusion. I don’t think there will ever be an ACTUAL accounting of who he was, because he never really existed in the first place.

Valerie Curren

This is truly an excellent analysis AND I also believe it to be profoundly true, but could never have articulated it so well. What is NLP?

Aubergine
cthulhu

You forgot “evil.”

Aubergine

Yes, I did. And I agree, evil.

Valerie Curren

Thx sounds like something to dig into…

Perhaps teaching people how to manipulate others?

Random other thought, I was wondering if in addition of being an entirely fabricated fiction, even down to “his” children being someone else’s bio offspring, could aka BHO also somehow be MK’d?

Also sounds like something I could have encountered over the course of Josiah’s care, after Neuro-Psych testing & all 😉

Gail Combs

I think BHO was very much MKed from a very early age.

Valerie Curren

It certainly seems plausible. I could almost feel sorry for him if I didn’t despise him so much. He tries the limits of my personal Christian charity!

Aubergine

Yes, I believe NLP is manipulation.

I also agree that BHO was probably EXTENSIVELY MK’d, probably throughout his life starting in childhood. Hell, he may even think those kids really ARE his.

Valerie Curren

Yikes. Maybe he actually believes his own press!!! What an incredible dupe. & a horrifying mockery of a leader. Evil personified in so many ways 🙁

Aubergine

An empty suit. Eastwood had it 100% right.

Valerie Curren

Absolutely!!!!

Aubergine

Clint’s a good man. At least he seems to be.

Valerie Curren

Agreed. Seems like a breed that’s barely allowed into Hollywood any more.

Aubergine

There are just a very few.

Valerie Curren

& we love AND support them when we find ’em too!

Aubergine

🙂

Aubergine

And thanks. I’ve given BHO a lot of thought over the years.

Valerie Curren

I wish we could jump to the alternate timeline where his Obamanation never rose to power!

Aubergine

Wouldn’t that be awesome!

Valerie Curren

Yes but then we wouldn’t be who we are with all our hard-won skills. It’s a fun fantasy though 🙂

Regarding choice of antihistamines:

From what I’ve gathered, any dose of 20 mg or under is considered an appropriate dose for children. Allegra offers a 180 mg dose meant for adults. They come in both gel caps and tablets. I prefer the gel caps for better absorption and ease of swallowing.

Other antihistamines besides Allegra include Claritin, Zyrtec and Xyzal as well as other off-brand manufacturers.

Best deals can be found on places like eBay where you can find antihistamines with short expire dates of a year or less for better value. They still hold up good in their effectiveness for a couple / few years afterwards if stored properly.

For anyone living in a rural area it also saves on the cost of driving to a store and back that sells it locally, and also usually at a significantly higher price.

Deplorable Patriot

Benadryl is my personal choice. I took Allegra for a while and the dry mouth was so bad, I had trouble singing.

Itswoot

Thanks. I’ll look into Benadryl.

Gail Combs

Benadryl is every 4 hours but it makes most people sleepy. (DO NOT DRIVE OR RUN MACHINERY)

I rotate thru Loratadine, Cetrizine HCL and Fexofenadine HCL. I save benadryl for emergencies when I have a severe allergic reaction.

Loratadine gives me the best results with the least side effects.

Itswoot

Thanks for the info. Still learning.

RDS

Due to that MVP (Mitral Valve Prolapse) diagnosis I was given a long time ago, I only use the non-drowsy or “children’s” version of Claritin.

Itswoot

My personal choice for Quercetin is sold by Puritan’s Pride. It comes in a rapid release capsule in a 500 mg dose that is combined with 1,400 mg of vitamin C. A twoofer! You will want to combine vitamin C with Quercetin anyway for more effectiveness. Made in the USA.

Aubergine

ME THREE!!!

Good post to hand to friends!

Tonawanda

I do all of the following, and my wife for medical reasons does most but not all.

1) D3, C, zinc, magnesium triple complex, quercetin (see below for quecetin). All taken daily. I bought a big supply of magnesium triple complex because of incentives at the time. I intend to try the super-duper magnesium sold by JP Sears (DP’s comedian) when it comes time to re-up. I have a 14 day pill container. When I run out, I re-fill the container AND count out my pills for that particular day, so I decrease the re-filling job by one day. For some odd reason, this feels like a miracle of efficiency.

I have found Puritans Pride to be a good place to get the D3, C, magnesium and quercetin (which is actually the Jarrow brand sold by Puritan). I forget exactly why, but I get the zinc from Thorne. IIRC when I was reading up on zinc Thorne was brought up as a good zinc supplier, and that stuck with me.

2) Months ago I switched from coffee to green tea in the morning. Green tea has quercetin (or the active ingredient?) and – – according to about a million articles I have read – – green tea in itself has many health benefits. I buy Bigelows organic green tea, which we get from BJ’s in a BIG size at a very decent price. The doctor we spoke to from FLCCC recommended taking the quercetin WITH the green tea, which I do.

3) HCQ and IVM. We got prescriptions for both from the FLCCC, and got the meds from Ravkoo pharmacy. They were expensive, and we did not get a lot. These are stand-by meds for when we actually do get covid. They are kept in a special drawer. The IVM was way too expensive to take preventively. My wife is the CFO and does not overspend. See next.

4) Paste. We have a big supply. My local Tractor Supply usually has some with occasional outages. $7/tube. A tube lasts 5 weeks for me, longer for my wife (based on respective weights). We take it once a week faithfully. Easy as pie.  FLCCC went from once a month, to once every two weeks, to once a week, and now apparently is twice a week. We are sticking with once a week until further thought is given. There have been no problems, except my wife will have the runs on the day taken. See next!

5) NB: I have gotten 12 tubes at a time. I get them delivered the same day, $ 20 extra for delivery. $110 (or so) total. NB#2: I would be more than happy to get these for people who do not have access, or to overnight some for people who need it immediately. The problem is figuring out how to do it in privacy and security. Also, it occurs to me, especially given the evil control of things, that some federal law might be twisted and implicated. But the privacy aspect is the only important concern.

6) Loratadine. My wife has occasional allergies, so we have a big supply. To be taken when infected.

7) I just went for my physical. My doctor is ignorant and brainwashed. He never heard of VAERS or of Uddar Pradesh. He misleading said that the mRNA technology has been tested for years. I bit my tongue and did not ask him what the INVENTOR of mRNA has said. There is no point whatsoever in getting contentious. He also told me to stop the baby aspirin I have been taking for years at the doctor’s advice. How interesting! I asked him why and he said more recent studies showed previously unknown dangers. AGAIN I bit my tongue. So it took years and years for the medical establishment to find out that baby aspirin was dangerous? But the new “vaccines” are safe and effective? Really, how dumb am I? Anyway, I went online, did some reading. Will not take the baby aspirin daily as before, but have it on hand to take if infected.

8) B12. I asked to be tested for B12 and found I was seriously deficient. Surprise! My wife and I were discussing, why wouldn’t vitamin/nutrient levels be tested on a regular basis? If 50% of northerners are deficient in D3, why not test that regularly up here. If seniors are deficient in B12, why not test that regularly? Etc, etc. Anyway, Linda, Gail and Aubergine all gave me great advice on B12, and that has been ordered (sublingual). (OK, this is spooky. My doctor’s office just called to tell me that my blood work was in and, among other things, my B12 was “slightly” deficient. Now, my doctor went over my blood work with me last week. He said the B12 was seriously deficient. I realize this is just a bizarre coincidence (although I do not rule out key stroke surveillance). But why are they even calling after all the blood work was discussed with the doctor? Same reason for “slightly” versus “seriously” – – abject incompetence and lack of basic communication. The medical system is a mess, and I sincerely believe the mess is done on purpose).

9) Monoclonal antibodies. My doctor agreed to let me get MA if I am infected, but his tone in agreeing was sour and belittling (“it might take a day off your symptoms,” as if even that was nothing). My BIL with several very serious comorbidities (and who got the shot) got covid.  He had never heard of monoclonal antibodies. He made immediate arrangements and got the treatment. Plus, we overnighted paste which he also took immediately. His case was short and mild. His doctor ONLY told him to take D. No zinc, no monoclonal antibodies, no nothing. Why D only? So strange. They really don’t care, or worse. My BIL and SIL (my wife’s sister) were both convinced that our treatment stopped the virus in its tracks.

10) We have binax, but Gails antibody test looks promising. But a lot of money! I am going to see if I cam get some of my non-shot friends to chip in to get the antibody test. We may very well have The Natural!

11) Not going to look for typos etc.

Great post!

I am a little sleepy so forgive me if this is obvious. NB? What is that?

Tonawanda

Nota bene. Note well. Means that I want folks to pay special attention to the following statement.

Aubergine

Thanks. Gotcha.

RAC

“He also told me to stop the baby aspirin……”
I had been taking baby aspirin, I wasn’t too happy about taking it and only took one every other day. Then Aubergine mentioned Nattokinase and I got some straight away (6000FU) and started taking them instead. For me it is working better than the aspirin, ankles hardly swollen at all, tingling/throbbing almost unnoticeable and toes no longer numb. So am very pleased with that.

When I tried baby aspirin, I had an attack of gout.

Here’s where I am.

Sunday & Thursday Ivermectin adjusted to weight.

Daily. Multi, Super B, C, D, E, fish oil, zinc, calcium, magnesium, Ocuvite, Quercitin.

Morning & Evening. Mouthwash.

Occasional. Melatonin.

Bullpen. HCQ, ZPak, NAC, three antihistamine’s, green tea and likely forgot something.

Playing, OH NO, is it Covid? When any of the myriad of Covid symptoms becomes pesky for ~24 hours. Likely anything BUT Covid. To be careful, I start monitoring temp, BP & Oximeter.

IF I get Covid, OR believe I have Covid, aggressive from the git go.

  • Follow FLCCC. HCQ, IVM, ZPak plus vitamins and minerals….
  • Call FLCCC or AFLD docs.
  • Ping on folks here for guidance.
  • ZERO interest in calling local quacks or hospitals.

Need To Do

  • Figure out the nasal flush. Don’t think I am interested in the hydrogen peroxide stuff. Gotta sort it out.
  • Home Covid tests. VERY hesitant to stick anything up my nose for a myriad of reasons. Will look for a home saliva test. Will look into Gail’s USA home test.

Stocks On Hand exceed one year.

Remember ZInc and selenium do not discriminate. they prevent viruses from replicating.

As far as Small Pox is concerned, I just hope my old vaccinations still work!

kalbokalbs

Selenium preventing viruses from replicating is news. Thanks.

Yea, prolly a whole lot of us hoping our Small Pox vax of decades ago is still viable. We’ll have to sort it out. Propaganda News will only do the skeer tactics stuff.

Selenium helps your body to fight viruses | Liver Doctor

I have been practising and researching nutritional medicine for over 40 years and if anyone asked me “what is the most important nutrient to fight a viral infection?”- I would say without doubt – whether it is a chronic or acute viral infection – it is selenium. I call selenium “the viral birth control pill”

Selenium acts on the genetic material of viruses (its RNA or DNA) and has three highly valuable effects:

  1. Inhibits the ability of the virus to multiply (replicate)
  2. Reduces the ability of the virus to mutate into a more aggressive (virulent) form
  3. Increases the chances that the virus will stay inactive or less active and not harm you

A normally harmless (or low-pathogenic) virus can become much more destructive (virulent) in a person who is selenium deficient. Selenium-deficient mice infected with a mild strain of influenza virus developed much more severe and protracted inflammation of their lungs, compared to selenium-plentiful mice infected with the same virus.

He would be referring to this study:
Selenium, Selenoproteins and Viral Infection

….The term “reactive oxygen species” (ROS) refers to series of side-products derived from molecular oxygen (O2) generated during mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation in every respiring cells…

.

.

.

Conclusions

During viral infections, there are many ways that the host metabolism could be affected, leading to a dysregulation of redox homeostasis. The viral pathogens induce oxidative stress via the increase generation of ROS and the alteration of cellular ROS scavenging systems. As part of antioxidant defense, selenoproteins, such as GPXs, TXNRDs and those located in the ER, play an important role in controlling oxidative stress. Selenium deficiency creates a weakening of the defense against infectious diseases by reducing selenoprotein expression. However, nutritional status of the host can also lead to viral genome mutations from a benign or mildly pathogenic virus to a highly virulent one under oxidative stress that could further spread in hosts with adequate selenium intake. 😮The molecular mechanism leading to the site-specific genome evolution of the virus toward more pathogenic strains awaits further experiments, especially to understand the implication of the selenoproteins….

Wonder if all the invaders took theirs ??? NOT !!!!!!!!!!

Hubby & I were discussing the SP vax & it seems I got one & he didn’t. We were both born in the 60’s but nearly 3 years apart. I’m older (but not necessarily wiser) but he’s grayer 😉 He was even going gray in his 20’s thanks to that prematurely gray gene on his mom’s side.

I agree w/ you in hoping the old vax holds, but we’ve got to figure out how to protect the ones we love too!!!

At this point good nutrition is all I can think of. ALSO Europeans and those of European descent have a 10% chance of being genetically immune. Given the depopulation agenda of the Cabal, that does not give me the warm fuzzys.
HIV…. HMMMmmm makes me think of FauXi

Smallpox In Europe Selected For Genetic Mutation That Confers Resistance To HIV Infection

….About 10 percent of Europeans have a mutation that disables a protein the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV-1)…

Smallpox, on the other hand, was a continuous presence in Europe for 2,000 years, and almost everyone was exposed by direct person-to-person contact. Most people were infected before the age of 10, with the disease’s 30 percent mortality rate killing off a large part of the population before reproductive age.

“When you remove children from a population, you remove more of the reproductive potential for the species, compared to losing older people, who are not reproducing,” Galvani said.

Other diseases common at the time, including measles, polio, whooping cough, rubella, scarlet fever, chicken pox and influenza, also targeted children, but fatalities were typically only a few percent and could not have exerted strong influence on the frequency of this genetic mutation.

The smallpox virus also has more biological similarities to HIV-1 than does bubonic plague, the authors point out. Plague is a bacterial disease, and there is no evidence that the bacterium, Yersinia pestis, uses the CCR5 receptor in infection. The bacteria actually reproduce outside immune cells.

Smallpox, on the other hand, is a virus based on RNA, just like HIV, she said. And there is some evidence that smallpox, Variola major, uses chemokine receptors like CCR5 to enter cells.

The researchers said the geographic distribution of smallpox also correlates better with the frequencies of the CCR5 deletion in Europe….

Valerie Curren

Fascinating–thanks! I was thinking of you w/ the horse pox possibilities. When talking to hubby I recounted my (imperfect) recollection of how vaccination happened when my parents were young. Supposedly the head of the household, dad, would go down & get a shot. There would be a pus bubble or something at the site of the introduction of the pathogen. Then in the home they would use needles or pins & prick that location AND stick the sharpie into each family member.

My husband, who Hates Needles would freak out for sure!

Gail Combs

The Small Pox ‘shot’ I got as a kid was a four prong gizmo. I still have the scar.

Overview

Smallpox is a viral, infectious disease that causes a significant skin rash and fever. During the most significant smallpox outbreaks in the 20th century, an estimated 3 out of 10 people died from the virus…

While most people who have the smallpox vaccine scar are older, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services did administer the vaccine after 1972 to healthcare workers and smallpox response teams from health departments due to the fear the smallpox virus could be used as a biological weapon by terrorists.

…The smallpox vaccine is delivered in a unique manner compared to many other vaccines used today. For example, a flu shot is delivered in a one-time stick using a single needle point that goes through several layers of skin and into the muscle. The smallpox vaccine is given using a special bifurcated (two-prong) needle. Instead of puncturing the skin one time, the person administering the vaccine will make multiple punctures in the skin to deliver the virus to the skin’s dermis, which is the layer just below the epidermis that is visible to the world. The vaccine doesn’t penetrate to the deeper skin layers, such as the subcutaneous tissue….

https://www.healthline.com/health/smallpox-vaccine-scar#procedure

Trying to get little kids to sit still for multiple jabs (Yeah right) maybe why they went to the four prongs I remember.

Valerie Curren

Interesting. I don’t remember the procedure though I have the scar on the upper arm. I’ll have to see if my brothers also got it. My youngest bro was born in 1970.

I have vague memory of getting the polio vax? in the grade school cafeteria. Some type of pink liquid squirted over a sugar cube in a small paper (condiment?) cup iirc.

Gail Combs

My was a shot in the arm @ age 6 in the gym. I have a memory of the doc putting the needle through the arm of the very tiny girl ahead of me. It’s possible if she squirmed and he did a glancing blow on the edge of the arm.

It would have been about 6 months after the introduction of the vaccine in April 1955.

Valerie Curren

Very interesting. I was quite young in April of 1965 🙂

Aubergine

First of all, thank you, Wolf, for putting this up! I agree with Kalbo, this should be pinned to the sidebar.

What is in my daily intake:

Quercetin
25 mg Zinc
1500 mg vitamin C
1200 mg calcium
250 mg magnesium
B-complex
10,000 i.u vitamin D

Four times a week:
525 mg Hawthorn
600 mg NAC

Adding now:

200 mg Nattokinase, four times a week
Selenium (researching how much I actually need, based on diet), daily

Also, just as a matter of my allergies, I take Claritin and Flonase daily, and have for years. I also drink Oregon Grape root tea most days. I also use Skullcap for my anxious stomach/stress. All of the above have shown benefit for Covid. Just an accident that I take them anyway.

I am also going to a once-per-week dose of Ivermectin. Previously, I have thought I would hold off on using it unless I was definitely sick. However, there are sick people all over my community right now, so prophylactic usage seems prudent. I have tablets, but I am using the paste for now. It expires. So check your dates and use accordingly.

Other things I do and recommend for just about everybody:

Red meat, most days. Seriously. Most humans, unless you are strictly Scandinavian/far-Northern European, Mediterranean, or Inuit, evolved on a diet of MEAT, not fish.

Dark berries, most days.

Dark leafy greens, most days.

Exercise. Any kind, every day.

Deep, slow breathing, as much and as often as possible. Work up to a five-count in-breath, two-count pause, five-count out-breath, two-count pause. Fill those lungs all the way down! Make them work.

Sunshine and fresh air. But that doesn’t take the place of vitamin D! Most people are not getting enough, especially in winter. Even in the South.

Happiness, love, and laughter. However you get it, get it. There is no substitute. In that vein:

Two boys from the mountains, Leroy and Jasper have been promoted from privates to sergeants.

Not long after, they’re out for a walk and Leroys says, “Hey, Jasper, there’s the NCO Club. Let’s you and me stop in.”

“But we’s privates,” protests Jasper. “We’s sergeants now,” says Leroy, pulling him inside.

“Now, Jasper, I’m a-gonna sit down and have me a drink.”

“But we’s privates,” says Jasper.

“You blind, boy?” asks Leroy, pointing at his stripes. “We’s sergeants now.”

So they have their drink, and pretty soon a hooker comes up to Leroy. “You’re cute,” she says, “and I’d like to date you, but I’ve got a bad case of gonorrhoea.”

Leroy pulls his friend to the side and whispers, “Jasper, go look in the dictionary and see what gonorrhoea means. If it’s okay, give me the okay sign.”

So Jasper goes to look it up, comes back, and gives Leroy the big okay sign.

Three weeks later Leroy is laid up in the infirmary with a terrible case of gonorrhoea.

“Jasper,” he says, “what fo’ you give me the okay?”

“Well, Leroy, in the dictionary, it say gonorrhoea affects only the privates.” He points to his stripes. “But we’s sergeants now!”

Love all y’all! The Q-Tree is the best.

On sunshine. One of the docs in a video showed a map. Virgina/NC border and up humans do not get enough of the right kind of UV to make vitamin D even if you were starkers.

Deplorable Patriot

Dr. Holick, who is the vitamin D pariah among dermatologists, says north of Atlanta from October to the end of March, everyone should supplement. From April-September he recommends “sensible sun exposure” on arms, legs, shoulders at least between the hours of ten in the morning, and four in the afternoon. Essentially, your shadow should not be longer than you to get the correct rays.

In the years when I make sure I do this, I’m generally healthier. This year, I started supplementing at the beginning of October. Since I work from home, sitting out in the sun during the summer is doable. It would be nice if this could culturally be part of the work day for office staff, but I have a feeling a “sun bath break” would not go over very well.

Gail Combs

I should have added that was at this time of year and in the winter. Your explanation is much more clear.

Aubergine

It’s true. Even in summer.

RDS

A long comment, so apologies in advance.
First of all, THANK YOU, Wolf Moon, for getting this together.

I believe I was infected with COVID-19 in mid-February, 2020, being exposed to the virus while at a crowded restaurant in Chapel Hill, NC. I had:
fever AND headache
great fatigue
dry, hacking cough
brain fog
some loss of smell
food and drink tasted like either sawdust or turpentine
some shortness of breath

And it hit like a trainwreck. I was ill for about 3 weeks, only gradually feeling better.
I was already taking daily vitamin C, vitamin D3, a multi-vitamin (prescribed by my PCP due to my diagnosis of Osteoporosis in 2019), 400mg Magnesium, and an eye supplement that has Zinc.
I drank a ton of hot tea. I think I left the house once during that time. Thank God I had supplies on hand of food for myself and the doggie.
It took longer than 3 weeks for the coughing to subside.
At the same time that I was sick, I was also taking care of my dear little Sona, who himself was quite ill and in decline. I still remember how I literally had push myself to take care of the both of us.

There is no way that I will take any of the current “vaccines” for COVID. Not only because I believe I already had the virus — but because of the history of stroke in my birth family (father and at least one paternal aunt). Ditto the Pfizer or Moderna “magic pill”, as these also have gene-therapy elements in them.

For months now, I’ve been taking daily:
4000mg vitamin C
3500IU vitamin D3
B-complex supplement, plus extra B12
Multi-vitamin
50mg Zinc
Quercetin (previously 250mg, now 500mg daily)
AirBorne supplement
Magnesium 400mg
Iron supplement
Since August, I take 12mg IVM per week under supervision from an MD affiliated with FLCCC

I exercise every day and eat a diet with a lot of protein.

All this said, I am still in company with close family members who are all “fully vaccinated” and at least 2 of whom have had “breakthrough cases” of COVID in late July-early August. I see these family members about every two weeks (two of them are MD’s). I can testify that for a couple of days after I am their midst, I have fatigue, headache, and sometimes a slight nosebleed. All these things subside.

Now, about Moxidectin and Avermectin:

Avermectin (one of the names it’s sold under is Stromectol) is used like Ivermectin. Avermectin comes, like IVM, in 3mg, 6mg, and 12mg tablets. The dosage appears to be similar that of IVM (10mg per 50kg of weight), or 0.2mg per kilo of body weight. The side effects appear to be the same as for IVM, with dizziness near the top of the list. (www.rxlist.com/stromectolside-effects-drug-center.htm

Moxidectin, on the other hand, is different. it is used as an anti-parasitic or anti-worm medicine mostly for animals. However, it can be used to treat some parasitic infections in humans, and as IVM, can be used to treat River Blindness. The forms and dosages are different from IVM / avermectin. It appears that Moxidectin can be taken by humans in dosages of 0,2 – 0,6mg per kilo of body weight. BUT — and this is a big BUT — Moxidectin is taken AT A DIFFERENT DOSAGE SCHEDULE The “half-life” of Moxidectin is LONGER than for IVM / avermectin. It appears that a human would take Moxidectin ONCE A MONTH ONLY. Overdosing Moxidectin can lead to central nervous system problems.

The bottom line is — do the research and make decisions based on it.

I have a large stock of ivermectin, both the TS infectable and the pills from our Indian friends. This is mostly for my family, as I’m pretty convinced that I already had COVID right at the start. But I am going to try the injectable to see if it helps with my long COVID symptoms.

I’ve had my mom on quercetin, zinc, C, D3, and magnesium from way back when we first started talking about this. But someone convinced her and my brother both to get those awful clot shots. So I’m really worried about this winter. My brother just moved in with mom since she’s at the stage where she needs a lot of help and his job has him on permanent work at home. I know that if one of them gets COVID, they’re both going to get COVID. If I can convince him to take the vitamins, then I’ll have ivermectin ready for if either or both of them get sick.

I feel pretty well stocked up. I’ve always taken plenty of vitamins, which is probably what helped me when I was sick. The only thing I didn’t know about at the time was zinc, but my multi-vitamin has some, so I was probably covered. I am thinking about ordering some doxycyline, though. Dr. Z thinks it or a z pack is good to take to prevent COVID from progressing to pneumonia.

RDS

Linda
Some people are sensitive to Azithromycin but can tolerate Doxycycline. This is also important if one has MVP (Mitral Valve Prolapse) and has to take Doxycycline before dental work, etc.
Regarding IVM (and Avermectin / Stromectol) — the more bioavailable the medicine is inside the body (in other words, taking the injectable form or a prescription compounded suspension form as compared to taking the tablet form), the faster it will get into the bloodstream. And it can also bring on the dizziness side effect faster.

My son has to pre-med before procedures, 1st due to open heart surgery history, or perhaps the Gore-Tex patch on his heart to repair his birth VSD, later it was due to being post-transplant. They always had him used amoxicillin.

He had doxycycline once after a tick bite to hopefully thwart possible lyme disease.

Linda

Incidentally, another thing people may want to look into is l-lysine. Someone linked to this article a few months ago that sounds very promising. I got some to use just in case.

https://www.lewrockwell.com/2021/03/no_author/vaccines-useless-against-newly-mutated-b-1-1-7-coronavirus-strain/

“Dr. Chaihorsky and colleagues recently reported at ResearchGate.net that lysine has dramatically halted several thousand cases of COVID-19 in the Dominican Republic. Buy New $13.99 ($0.08 / Count) (as of 04:15 EDT – Details)

“Dr. Chaihorsky goes on to say: “I don’t think anything can compete with lysine. Lysine is no respecter of viral strain. It is a universal virus destroyer. Viruses depend on arginine, an amino acid found in nuts and chocolate for growth and replication. By tipping the lysine/arginine balance towards lysine, viral replication will be halted. Lysine may save humanity from the newly mutated B.1.1.7. strain that is now in play in California.”

Gail Combs

“…Viruses depend on arginine… By tipping the lysine/arginine balance towards lysine, viral replication will be halted. ..”

Looks like beef has the highest amount of Lysine and the best lysine/arginine ratio.

From: Goat Products: Meeting the Challenges of Human Health and Nutrition.

And just for yucks: Goat vs Lamb and mutton – Health impact and Nutrition Comparison
I was interested in the  conjugated linoleic acid.

“…Lamb meat has the highest amount of conjugated linoleic acid, among other ruminant meats. Conjugated linoleic acid has been found to have anticarcinogenic and antiatherogenic qualities, proving beneficial in cancer, coronary heart disease and diabetes (4)….” Lamb is twice as high as beef.
It is also helpful in weight loss.

….Meat from ruminants has higher levels of CLA than meat from non-ruminants. The highest CLA concentrations were found in lamb (4.3–19.0 mg/g lipid) and with slightly lower concentrations in beef (1.2–10.0 mg/g lipid). The CLA content of pork, chicken, and meat from horses is usually lower than 1 mg/g lipid. Interestingly, turkey seems to have a relatively high CLA content (2–2.5 mg/g lipid), but reasons for this are unclear….

My point of view is stick to grass fed as much as possible and eat a variety of meats if you can afford to.

This has nothing to do with ivermectin or other medicines, but I have to pass it on because it made me smile. DH mentioned to one of his co-workers in an impoverished “third-world” country that he probably had Corona. Today he got a message from this young man. He said he had asked around to find out how those who have had Corona got well again. This is the information he passed on to my husband:

-lots of soups, like goat-leg soup with the bones (bone broth)
-drink alot
-rest alot
-eat enough for stamina, even if you don’t feel like eating
-take your medicine in time

This is similar to what a friend from an east african country said at the beginning of the Corona scare. He was very worried because all of his relatives back at home had Corona. Afterwards, he found out they made a big pot of meat soup–goat, lamb or maybe camel– and used their usual herbal medicines. They all got well. Of course, they probably had no vitamin D deficiency.

Valerie Curren

I do use bones to make soup/broth now, & have even taken rib bones from people’s plates to simmer for hours before giving them to the dog. We’ve also started saving veggie scraps, what would normally go down the garbage disposal, in the freezer & when there’s enough will simmer for a few hours to get much of the nutrition out of them. We’re experimenting w/ burying the solids in parts of our backyard to see if that might improve some soil for future, as yet theoretical, gardening. That veggie broth can be the basis for soup. Oh & I try to save pasta water for use in soup making for extra flavor & nutrition.

RF121

Don’t forget the basics. Taking a bunch of pills and potions is great. But if your body is not healthy it is not going to do a whole lot of good. Like putting premium gas into a 1978 Ford Pinto. A body that is not healthy typically does not absorb nutrients well. Including all those pills you are popping.

If you are overfat/obese (80%+ of the population is) your body is inflamed. You need to deal with that as we know the impact it has when you get covid. Lose the weight. And an accurate height/weight chart would be one from the 1950-60’s.

Aubergine

Gotta give you a virtual high-five! You are 100% on the money.

Gail Combs

RF121,

I actually found that paying attention to the nutrition actually helped me lose the weight. Since obesity (and allergies, asthma, arthritis, type II diabetes…) are chronic inflammatory problems, going after the inflammation is going to help the obesity too.

Calorie counting just doesn’t work. The TYPE of calories really does matter and so do the nutrients.

Valerie Curren

Good points. I’m in a glass house here & will throw No Stones at anyone on this 🙂

RF121

When this comes up with my wife I have to walk on egg shells. She has weight to lose and of course it is a touchy subject when I bring it up. So all I can do is lead by example and try and prod her in the right direction.

Throw in the stress of covid, vaxx and work, and it is tough all the way around. But, if you want to be around to be playing with grand kids then you need to get and stay healthy. And then there is the favorite poster my dad had in his office.

Live long enough to be a burden to your children.

Dr. Jason Fung has some good youtubes on why calorie counting does not work.

The big challenge is food, especially carbs, are addictive and it takes a committed effort to clean up the diet. For life. But the health care system is not designed to address the root cause of most illness today so you won’t get help there. They will just push the standard, gubmint approved diet plan. Then issue a bunch of prescriptions.

Lots of resources out there though for people who want to truly commit to getting lean and healthy.

Gail Combs

Carbs are a MAJOR problem. I went on the Atkins low carb diet and lost over 30 pounds. Unfortunately the place I was routinely doing children’s entertainment closed. It had an organic farmers market next to me and I would spend what I had earned on organic meat, fish and veggies for the week.

Unfortunately doing gigs at birthday parties are NOT conductive to loosing weight! Esp if you have a sweet tooth.

Please

Thanks for doing this wolfie and to all others who have contributed to this database.

My daily is a multi which has 24mg zinc, 1000IU D3 amongst other normal stuff. I add to that 1000 mg VitC; 30mg Zinc; 2x 2000 IU D3; 250 Magnesium.

I also started a once-a-week dose of IVM supplied from our friends across the globe.

I am going to add some K2 to the mix as I have read elsewhere that K2 is needed to insure the D3 gets to the right places and not collect in the wrong places to do harm.

Stockpiles “adequate” as Rolls-Royce used to describe their engine horsepower.

This is where I read it that was simple to understand. I have read many articles on the topic and most said similar things in more complex ways:

h_ttps://www.mamanatural.com/why-vitamin-k2-is-important-and-how-to-get-it/

(remove underscore in https)

Pertinent paragraphs:

“While vitamin D3 (another video/post) is a wonderful supplement and important, especially if you’re living in most of North America during the winter, it only helps to increase our absorption of calcium but it doesn’t direct where it’s deposited. As a result, some people who are mega-dosing vitamin D are ending up with kidney stones and stiff arthritic joints because the calcium is being stored in the wrong place. These people are deficient in vitamin K and vitamin D can cause an even further deficiency since they’re somewhat antagonistic.

In enters vitamin K2… Vitamin K2 is a calcium regulator in the body. It puts calcium where it should be (teeth and bones) and takes it out of places it shouldn’t (arteries, kidneys, tissue, etc.) In fact, this was the elusive “X factor” that Dr. Weston A. Price said was present in the diets of healthy cultures around the world, in combination with vitamin A and D.”

>>>Please if there are other thoughts on this from the group here, please respond to clear this up for me and others, too! <<<

I’ve been high-dosing for 18 months. I come into contact with proudly jabbed persons, living in a deep blue dot, several times a day. I don’t mask, but many persons are masked. I also typically get a ‘cold’ from December to March every year and live on OTC cold meds before understanding things.

Now, I haven’t had a real ‘cold’ in 18 months! Yay! I haven’t had any long bouts and have survived a household full of coughing sneezing people on several occasions. They choose not to follow my protocol, but I get them to take some zinc and VitC after a few days of suffering.

I do occasionally have a bout for a day or an hour of sneezing, runny nose, sore throat, feeling overall germy. I usually take an extra dose of VitC, and the next days dose of my regulars and I am fine.

Any comments or critiques welcome as I am learning as I go.

I’m guessing that posting to this thread will probably put me/us on some list deep in the bowels of Brandonville so … LET’S GO BRANDON!

AND vitamin C!!!

Don’t forget vitamin C.

piper567

Please, I think Vitamin K may be contraindicated for blood thinners such as Coumadin.
Better check for such folks, I may be misremembering..

Gail Combs

Vitamin K is definitely a NoNo (so is spinach) You can check the article I linked to. Hubby was given a list and K was on it as was spinach.

On the other hand spinach may help prevent cataracts.

Please

Thanks for that info. I am not on thinners, so I am good, but good info for others.

Please

Thanks for all the responses and feedback!

Gingersmom2009

Well, here I am checking in. I haven’t been doing the blow by blow as I don’t want to take anything for granted. Can’t jinx things. 😄

It’s been all FLCCC for me, minus the turmeric that I forgot. So it’s yet another pill to the daily ziploc bag. (UGH) Plus the H202 nebulizer per Mercola. And Regeneron 4 days ago.

Aside from the overall bad fatigue and lack of stamina, here’s the rundown:

Cough, nose blowing – 4 out of 10, on Friday and Saturday only. Now 0-1. Always sporadic, never interrupted sleep. No sneezing at all. Cough/nose productive, no dry cough. No sore throat.

As I said, I did cough some for a couple of days so my back/sides were a little sore over the weekend. That’s gone now.

No shortness of breath or wheezing. I do have albuterol, since I have allergic asthma, so if I have any sense of tightness I can use that. But the nebulizer (4x a day) has taken care of it.

Fever never went above 99.8. It’s 97.7 now, which is normal for me. Oxygen always 96-98.

Taste and smell just went off, I mean like a light switch, late Friday.

I have intermittent vague nausea, just a combination of too many meds and no appetite I think. I do eat small amounts regularly though. Cold cereal, soup, scrambled egg, cheddar cheese and saltines, grapes, sliced cucumber, OJ and misc. fluids.

Hubby (also had Regeneron) is still negative, as of last Abbott test 2 days ago. Temp is also in the mid 97’s.

Anybody know anything about nitazoxanide? The ones I have are big, really ugly yellow, coated caplets. They’re on the protocol, and recommended to use WITH Ivermectin, but I’ve never heard of it previously.

So there it is. As I said, don’t want to make any predictions. All an unknown, it feels like I’m waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Gail Combs

Sounds like you are over the worst of it. Hopefully you will avoid long haulers.

Gingersmom2009

We are so very lucky that our family doctor called us back immediately on Friday night and got us in for Regeneron the next day. I believe that it was the game changer in shortening the process.

This is the SAME doc that would not prescribe HCQ/prophylactic for me in March 2020, so I wound up on speakwithanmd.com way back then. He has changed his tune – a couple of months ago when my husband said he was taking prophylactic Ivermectin he agreed that it would work for him.

As I said, fingers crossed. It’s never over until it’s over.

Gingersmom2009

ty 👍🏻 😊

kalbokalbs

Excellent review. Thanks.

Valerie Curren

Hang in there. We “all” had “covid” about a year ago AND got through it. I was the worst, w/ co-morbidities. Hubby & I still seem to have some version of long haulers. Kids, even Josiah w/ ALL of his Many medical issues, didn’t get too sick, thankfully.

For us the worst was over in 3-4 weeks. Smell took many months to return & for hubby & I is still not exactly at pre-covid levels.

On Turmeric, I just saw this Chai Tea recipe that could be a way to incorporate that nutrient in a more enjoyable manner.

https://frugallysustainable.com/building-your-medicine-chest-turmeric/?utm_campaign=yummly&utm_medium=yummly&utm_source=yummly

I haven’t tried this recipe yet so just sharing the info, fyi. I found the site by a duckduckgo search. The author looks to have some interesting ideas that could be worth digging into further 🙂

holly

Another Tumeric beverage is Golden Milk. One of those recipes I have been wanting to try. Calls for fresh Tumeric which I’m not familiar with.

https://www.drweil.com/diet-nutrition/anti-inflammatory-diet-pyramid/anti-inflammatory-golden-milk/

Valerie Curren

Thanks Holly. I’m still leery of turmeric ever since it was one of the scents that really messed with me during pregnacy!

Gail Combs

I take the capsules since turmeric helps control my arthritis pain. However I add tumeric to anything I can think of. My rice is BRIGHT YELLOW… 😄

Valerie Curren

I’m guessing it might be one of the standard components in curry powder?

Gail Combs

“….Curry powder consists of multiple spices, not just a single one like turmeric. While turmeric is always among those spices, it is present mainly because of the color. Curry powder will have multiple pungent spices like fenugreekcoriander, and cumin. In other words, most curry blends have too many strong flavors for the subtle notes of turmeric to stand out….”
https://www.spiceography.com/turmeric-vs-curry-powder/

Valerie Curren

Thanks. I thought curry powder was a spice mix but was Guessing turmeric was part of it by color comments alone 🙂

Gail Combs

Yeah, turmeric is known for its color. It will even turn your pee yellow so do not be startled. 😊

Valerie Curren

Hmm some of those urinary tract infection meds used to turn the pee orange, like Urostat iirc, so I wonder if turmeric might be in that?

Brave and Free

Prayers for y’all.

Gingersmom2009

Thanks so much. We’re good. So many pills though. 😂

singularzoe

vitaminc4covid.com In a study, many who became seriously ill were found to have extremely low levels of vitamin c.

Gail Combs

Low levels of D3 in the seriously ill Covid people is also found.

From the NIH (AKA FauXi)

….Vitamin D deficiency (defined as a serum concentration of 25-hydroxyvitamin D ≤20 ng/mL) is common in the United States, particularly among persons of Hispanic ethnicity and Black race. These groups are also overrepresented among cases of COVID-19 in the United States.2 Vitamin D deficiency is also more common in older patients and patients with obesity and hypertension; these factors have been associated with worse outcomes in patients with COVID-19. In observational studies, low vitamin D levels have been associated with an increased risk of community-acquired pneumonia in older adults3 and children.4

Vitamin D supplements may increase the levels of T regulatory cells in healthy individuals and patients with autoimmune diseases; vitamin D supplements may also increase T regulatory cell activity.5 In a meta-analysis of randomized clinical trials, vitamin D supplementation was shown to protect against acute respiratory tract infection.6 However, in two double-blind, placebo-controlled, randomized clinical trials, administering high doses of vitamin D to critically ill patients with vitamin D deficiency (but not COVID-19) did not reduce the length of the hospital stay or the mortality rate when compared to placebo….

https://www.covid19treatmentguidelines.nih.gov/therapies/supplements/vitamin-d/

“… administering high doses of vitamin D to CRITICALLY ILL patients with vitamin D deficiency (but not COVID-19) did not reduce the length of the hospital stay or the mortality rate when compared to placebo….” WELL DUH!

The EXACT SAME SLIGHT OF HAND EVERY TIME! Wait until the person is at death’s door to give them the CHEAP treatment so you can PROVE it doesn’t work!
  :wpds_mad:

singularzoe

I am very white, but I have had troulb trouble getting my d levels up. I know I have low stomach acid and am aged 70, almost. I keep increasing the amount I take. Now my levels are all right, but I would like them to be higher.

cthulhu

It really sounds like you might try the sublingual type.

Incidentally, are you near Dixon, IL?

singularzoe

Not near Dixon. I did not know d3 could be taken sublingually

Valerie Curren

Your last paragraph Absolutely Nails It!!!

Gail Combs

EXACTLY!

You have to read the studies to see if they are pulling that type of crap.

I remember look at the ‘Scientific Study’ used to PROVE a low carb diet did not help you lose weight.

Their ‘definition of ‘Low Carb”??? — THREE HUNDRED GRAMS OF CARBS per Day (THINK SUGAR!!!)

Label from 5 pound Domino Sugar:
comment image

so 300 grams = 75 teaspoons of sugar
OR
0.66lbs that is OVER a HALF POUND of Sugar.
….

The Low carb diet I followed and lost a ton of weight with allowed 27 grams. ONE TENTH THAT AMOUNT!

,,,,,

And NOTICE ON THAT LABEL that 1 teaspoon = 4 grams = ONE PERCENT of Daily value in a 2000 gram diet!!!

Mayo Clinic: What do the Daily Value numbers mean on food labels?

Percent Daily Value (DV) on the Nutrition Facts label is a guide to the nutrients in one serving of food. For example, if the label lists 15% for calcium, it means that one serving provides 15% of the calcium you need each day.

DVs are based on a 2,000-calorie diet for healthy adults. Even if your diet is higher or lower in calories, you can still use the DV as a guide….

Here is another interesting slight of hand from Harvard Medical

….How much is okay?

If 24 teaspoons of added sugar per day is too much, then what is the right amount? It’s hard to say, since sugar is not a required nutrient in your diet. The Institute of Medicine, which sets Recommended Dietary Allowances, or RDAs, has not issued a formal number for sugar.

However, the American Heart Association suggests that men consume no more than 150 calories (about 9 teaspoons or 36 grams) of added sugar per day. That is close to the amount in a 12-ounce can of soda.

👉 sugar is not a required nutrient in your diet

NOT ADDED SUGAR, SUGAR PERIOD IS NOT REQUIRED! — AND THEY DARN WELL KNOW IT!!!

I took Equate nightime tussin dm max. It was too strong. Contributed to my illness.
Zyrtek did help.
Right now im on heparin, decadron, albuterol inhaler(very important). Multiple daily vitamins including zinc, c, mvi, d, b, pepcid and something else.
Having a lot of nausea the last day. Covid is known for gi upset, all the way to diarrhea fyi.
Theyre going to give me reglan to help.

My O2 was titrated down again. Little every few hours. Im maintaining 91%.
I recommend buying an O2 sat monitor.

holly

Hi giloo!! Good to hear from you. Hope you improve quickly and can go home soon.

Last edited 3 years ago by holly
Gail Combs

You have to watch out for the tussin dm max.

It “contains Dextromethorphan HBr, USP (Cough suppressant) 20 mg and Guaifenesin, USP (Expectorant) 400 mg in each 10 mL. This product controls coughs.

If you are congested YOU DO NOT WANT TO CONTROL THE COUGH YOU WANT TO BRING UP THE THINNED MUCUS.

I always use the straight Tussin with just Guaifenesin with PLENTY OF FLUID.

…Guaifenesin is used to help clear mucus or phlegm (pronounced flem) from the chest when you have congestion from a cold or flu. It works by thinning the mucus or phlegm in the lungs….

https://www.mayoclinic.org/drugs-supplements/guaifenesin-oral-route/description/drg-20068720

gil00

I threw it up on the couch.

Gail Combs

I find I have a bit of a problem with Dextromethorphan HBr and must take it with food if I do not want to get nauseous.

Guaifenesin tastes terrible. I worked with it in the lab and I could taste the darn stuff for days.

gil00

I always used it “before”. Im scared now. Just kiss after this.

Gail Combs

YUP,

It is my Go To when I get congestion. I had pneumonia decades ago and for years after got bronchitis every winter.

gil00

Thats better.

Gail Combs

I also generally avoid it. The last thing I want to do is ‘calm a cough’ when I am trying to clear out my airways!

Valerie Curren

It helps when trying to sleep though. If I’m really sick then will usually use the generic of Nyquil AND try to sleep sitting up as much as possible.

When I had “covid” there was this very heavy thick mucus stuck in the back of my throat, seemingly blocking the epiglottis (opening to the trachea iirc) AND it was Super Hard to clear. Many times I had a sensation that I might choke to death or asphyxiate, scary way to wake up! Sometimes my energy was so low it was hard to muster the strength to do serious coughing…

Gail Combs

That is why guaifenesin PLUS LIQUIDS is really good. Keeping hydrated is an absolute must and the GI tract attack of Covid doesn’t help.

I start the day with a hot cup of tea and if I had a bad night, I will breath the steam coming out of the tea pot to ‘hydrate’ my airways.

Many people forget to humidify their homes in the winter and that is bad for your breathing too.

Valerie Curren

Good points. We noticed a Huge difference in our quality of life when we got a new furnace AND humidifier. We’d had like 20 years w/out a humidifier & it was brutal.

When we lived in my parents’ cottage early in our marriage, which was heated by gas furnace AND a wood stove, we pretty much always kept a kettle steaming on the wood stove. Even at the hunting shacks they always keep water heating on the wood stoves (of course that’s also the only way to Actually have hot water) but it probably makes the room a bit more comfortable.

They took the Cottage’s wood stove out years ago so if we’re ever there in colder weather I can already notice the drying effect of just heat alone. My hands used to crack & bleed every winter but haven’t done so since we got the humidifier!!!!

gil00

I think im done for good after this. Theres other things.

Aubergine

Great to hear from you! I know other people using the albuterol who way it is essential, too. Sorry about the nausea; I hate feeling pukey.

I bought my oxygen monitor today! That was one small piece of equipment I didn’t have.

Thanks for updating us.

gil00

I will get one too, esp with surgery coming. Forgot to mention im on iv zofran too.

Aubergine

It’s good to have the information about what’s going on in your body, so you can treat accordingly. And an oximeter is pretty cheap.

cthulhu

IIRC, dextromethorphan was part of the “purple drank” that figured in the Trayvon Martin case….

gil00

Hmmmm. Didn’t know that.

Deplorable Patriot

Question:

Is there an upper limit for B12? I get 100% from my multi-vitamin and eat two fresh eggs every day in addition to meat, but I’m wondering….

Gail Combs

Vitamin B12 Overdose Symptoms: Should You Be Concerned?“…Dr. Josh Axe, DC, DNM, CNS, is a doctor of chiropractic, certified doctor of natural medicine and clinical nutritionist…”

Although a vitamin B12 overdose is rare, research suggests that some groups of people are at a greater risk of adverse effects from taking an excessive amount of the nutrient. Are you at risk of a vitamin B12 overdose? If you have certain health conditions, you have to be careful of supplementing with this essential nutrient.

How Much Vitamin B12 Should You Take?

Stages of life, lifestyle changes, diet and health conditions all impact the amount of vitamin B12 you need to avoid a deficiency. The National Institutes of Health recommend the following daily dosage of vitamin B12:

  • Birth to 6 months: 0.4 micrograms
  • Infants 7–12 months: 0.5 micrograms
  • Children 1–3 years: 0.9 micrograms
  • Children 4–8 years: 1.2 micrograms
  • Children 9–13 years: 1.8 micrograms
  • Teens 14–18 years: 2.4 micrograms
  • Adult men and women 18–50 years: 2.4 micrograms
  • Adult men and women over 50 years: 25–250 micrograms
  • Women who are pregnant: 2.6 micrograms
  • Women who are breastfeeding: 2.8 micrograms

Adults over the age of 50 are at a greater risk of vitamin B12 deficiency because they tend to produce less stomach acid, which is needed to convert the vitamin properly. Studies show that taking 125–250 micrograms of vitamin B12 is effective for maintaining proper B12 levels for older adults….

There isn’t a tolerable upper intake level for vitamin B12, as it’s considered a vitamin with low levels of toxicity. That means that there’s no maximum daily dose that’s known to cause adverse effects to the general population….

cthulhu

You may want to review https://www.b12-vitamin.com/malabsorption/ before thinking about supplement levels.

Gail Combs

That is why the ‘under the tongue’ sublingual B12 seems to work so much better for me. It kills an allergy attack quickly.

Linda

Yes, that’s the only way it works for me at all. I take 5,000 mcg daily and that has worked to relieve me of all the symptoms my prior deficiency was causing. You really don’t want to get deficient in B12. It can cause neurological problems. I had numb, tingly fingers and feet as well as a whole host of other issues, including shortness of breath.

Deplorable Patriot

My SIL has such issues.

I was B12 anemic for years, and didn’t know what the issue was. Figured it out myself. It was diet related.

• Zinc / Zinc Ionophore approach inhibits RNA dependent RNA polymerase (RDRP)

Zinc Ionophores include:
• Hydroxychloroquine
• Ivermectin
• Quercetin
• EGCG
We can potentially cure all Corona, Influenza, and RSV infections with a safe, cheap, and oral treatment approach.
This is why the Globalists, Pharmaceutical industry, tyrants, despots, and devolved pagans are opposing this is approach.
It undermines their agenda, profits, and the use of fear as a weapon.

Dr. Zelenkos Gab page header picture showing Zinc to be the “bullet” and HCQ (Zinc Ionophore) to be the “gun” ; also shows azithromycin (antibiotic) to be “body armor” (the antibiotic is to be used as treatment if symptomatic; not as prophylactic):

comment image

=======================================

I recall the press conference early on in the so-called pandemic where PDJT first mentioned HCQ, although I do not recall any confirmation that he was actually taking it (although I assumed that he was).

I was VERY surprised to find out that he caught Covid.

That led me to believe that while he may have possibly taken it initially, he may not have continued to take it as a preventive measure; and/or may not have been taking zinc (BOTH Zinc AND a Zinc Ionophore MUST be taken fall prevention and/or treatment).

Thus, I am left to wonder about my fellow Treepers who have come down with Covid at this late stage…

Did they not have these on hand ?

Did they have them on hand in case they became symptomatic (i.e. they did not take them as a prophylactic) ?

Were they taking them and they simply did not work ?
Or perhaps the latest “variant” is just too strong?
(I hope that is not the case, because that’s what I’ve been doing!)

What am I missing ?

ZINC + ZINC IONOPHORE !

(^^^^^ THAT’s ^^^^^ ME !)
😉

Gail Combs

ZINC + ZINC IONOPHORE !

Well I sure hope that works! (and immunity from prior infection.)

Nor'easter

Here’s a question for you girl as you may be one of the best who could answer:

Will an effective prophylaxis treatment prevent someone from attaining natural immunity ?
(i.e. Because they were prevented from catching the virus)

Gail Combs

Will an effective prophylaxis treatment prevent someone from attaining natural immunity ?”

No I do not think so. Remember what you are doing is ARMING and WEAPONIZING your immune system with the best weapons to FIGHT THE VIRUS.

Nor'easter

That was what led me to ask the question…

So, my follow-up question would be:

Are we perhaps somewhat better off GETTING the virus as opposed to AVOIDING it. ?

(I remember hearing of parents having their children intentionally exposed to other children who had chickenpox, so they would catch it, get over it, and never have to worry about it again)

(Hmmm… Maybe I’m doing it wrong !)
😉

cthulhu

Been there, done that. Swapped Chicken Pox for Mumps with another family — back to back.

Nor'easter

But would you do it with Covid ?

Nor'easter

“Expose oneself sensibly to daily life and risk infection, but don’t try to catch it intentionally.”

“But when you get it, treat it fast and well..”

Hmmm… Not “if”, but “when”… Funny (or not) thing is it may just be THAT contagious… That we WILL ALL eventually be exposed to it !

#NoFear!
😉

Valerie Curren

This is a very reasonable AND measured approach. Thanks for spelling out what sounds like basic common sense before medicine got so compromised.

My husband’s mom w/ her first child at the doc was told that kids should “eat a pound of dirt” before age one or two to get strong immune systems. I bet them eating boogers kind of has that impact too.

Valerie Curren

Seems like God’s design at work 🙂

Gail Combs

“….exposure to the virus and the dead virus to gain immunity naturally without actually being infected by the disease. Healthcare workers are often in that category. They are effectively immunized without catching the disease – and they get the good, broad-based immunity, too….”

Wolfie, that not getting sick may actually be because the Healthcare workers ALREADY HAD IMMUNITY.

One of the videos I saw recently had a doctor who said ~20% of Americans HAD PRIOR IMMUNITY BEFORE COVID HIT.

I wish I could remember who it was.

Gail Combs

AHHHHhhh
Like the cavers that have immunity (antibodies) to rabies from caving in bat caves. They get exposed via bat guano but never get the disease.

GA/FL

Wolfie, Reading this review (https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/R2I615LSV5RYPV/ref=cm_cr_dp_d_rvw_ttl?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B01HQLCYW2) – I thought of you (and Daughn).

My bout with the flu has had ups and downs and it’s probably because of doing too much too soon, loading unloading, climbing stairs, not enough sleep in hospital…too much junk food – chocolate, cokes, chips, crackers to fuel all the activity. I’m going to buy a few Made in USA vitamins and supplements (Quercetin, Zinc, C, A, E, D3, etc) and try to get some Ivermectin to keep on hand for exposure to CV19, flu, etc.

cthulhu

Just like mumps and chicken pox, covid is reasonably safe for kids.

Nor'easter

IMO, as I understand it, you should have “natural immunity” from ALL coronavirus strains now, and effactive prophylactic prevention from flu and Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), as long as you continue using them.

Sylvia Avery

I was VERY surprised to find out that he caught Covid.

That led me to believe that while he may have possibly taken it initially, he may not have continued to take it as a preventive measure; and/or may not have been taking zinc (BOTH Zinc AND a Zinc Ionophore MUST be taken fall prevention and/or treatment).

I was shocked by that, too, and wondered if he had been advised incorrectly on the dosage, or if he hadn’t been taking the zinc, or what went wrong……

Actually I think (from my experience this spring) you can still catch Covid but it is a very mild case compared to what you would have gotten.

If you look again Dr Z DOUBLES the amount ONCE YOU HAVE SYMPTOMS. That means you caught it.

Or was Covid a cover story for something else? Wasn’t it after the Rose Garden Amy Coney Barrett event when so many attendees got sick through some type of deliberate exposure? Great post! Having just gotten over the crap (4 of us), used a lot of the same supplements that have already been discussed. Having a “war chest” on hand is something DH and I have been in the habit of doing for several years now. So for the WuFlu, I just had to add a few things, ivermectin (horse paste), 1 tube which provides about 10 to 12 doses depending on weight; quercetin, pycnogenol, and NAC (those from mail order). Only DH had 3 doses of ivermectin, early.

Our son had to have the jab, he’s overseas, govt. employee, and if he didn’t he would have been stranded, no way to come home, no job. I’ve been looking at what can be done for those who have been jabbed and there is more information coming out as it’s being learned what is in the jabs as well as what is effective. This evening I found this website that has the best information I’ve seen so far. There’s quite a bit of overlap between the things recommended for the jab and the woofloo.

Patriot Nurse in a video mentioned that chronic inflammation is a problem in Covid. (Co-morbities) Here is something from sabretoothed  @ ChiefIo’s 2015 Bromine, Iodine, Prostate and Breast Cancer
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
As you read this THINK PREPPING THE BATTLE FIELD <== Our bodies.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Understanding Local Control of Thyroid Hormones:(Deiodinases Function and Activity)
http://www.nahypothyroidism.org/deiodinases/
Also inflammation in body can change conversions of hormones

[“… type I deiodinase (D1) and type II deiodinase (D2) increase cellular thyroid activity by converting inactive thyroxine (T4) to the active triiodothyronine (T3) while type III deiodinase (D3) reduces cellular thyroid activity by converting T4 to the anti-thyroid reverse T3 (reverse T3) (1-9)…” <== I inserted notation key to distinguish from T killer cells.]

Inflammation associated with common conditions

The inflammatory cytokines IL-1, Il-6, C-reactive protein (CRP), and TNF-alpha will significantly decrease D1 activity and reduce tissue T3 levels (105-113). Any person with an inflammatory condition — including physical or emotional stress (243-248), obesity (248-252), diabetes (248,249,253), depression (254-257), menopause (surgical or natural) (258), heart disease (248,259,260), autoimmune disease (lupus, Hashimoto’s, multiple sclerosis, arthritis, etc) (114,115,164,265), injury (266), chronic infection (261,262) or cancer (267-269) — will have a decreased T4 to T3 conversion in the body and a relative tissue hypothyroidism. The inflammatory cytokines will, however, increase the activity of D2 and suppress the TSH despite reduced peripheral T3 levels; again, making a normal TSH an unreliable indicator of normal tissue thyroid levels (105-113)

There is a direct inverse correlation between CRP and reduced tissue T3 (112,270), so individuals with elevated CRP (greater than 3 mg/l) or other inflammatory cytokines will have a significant reduction in cellular T3 levels. The suppression of intracellular T3 levels correlates with the degree of elevation of CRP, despite serum thyroid tests being “normal” (112,270). Thus, if any inflammation is present, which is found in numerous clinical and subclinical conditions (as above), the body will have lower cellular T3 levels that are often inadequate for optimal functioning; but the pituitary will have increased levels of T3, resulting in a lowering of the TSH that would potentially be inappropriately interpreted as an indication of “normal” thyroid levels.

Thus, any person with an inflammatory condition will have diminished tissue levels of T3 potentially severe enough to cause symptoms, but these symptoms will not be detected by standard thyroid testing. Additionally, due to the reduced T4 to T3 conversion induced by the inflammation in these conditions, effective treatment must include T3 (combination or, ideally, timed-released T3). Also, due to the inflammatory suppression of TSH, not only is a normal TSH necessarily an indication of euthyroidism (normal thyroid), but also a suppressed TSH is not necessarily an indication of excessive thyroid with treatment. Rather, free T3 and reverse T3 levels along with clinical parameters should be used to determine optimal replacement doses of thyroid.

Additionally, inflammation will stimulate D3, producing more reverse T3, further causing cellular hypothyroidism not detected by TSH testing by suppressing intracellular T4 to T3 conversion and blocking the T3 receptor inside the cell (271).

From above article
Also you can have normal TSH, T4 and T3 and still be hypothyroid, because T4 could be converting into inactive RT3

[END SABRETOOTH QUOTE]

More from the article (They offer testing BTW)

STRESS [Think masks, social distancing, job loss FEAR…]

Chronic physiologic stress results in decreased D1 activity (11,12,13-17,234) and an increase in D3 activity (1,195,196), decreasing thyroid activity by converting T4 into reverse T3 instead of T3 (1,195,196,216,234). Conversely, D2 is stimulated, which results in increased T4 to T3 conversion in the pituitary and reduced production of TSH (11,16,18-22,234). The increased cortisol levels seen with stress also contribute to physiologic disconnect between the TSH and peripheral tissue T3 levels (16,18-20). This stress induced reduced tissue T3 level and increased reverse T3 results in tissue hypothyroidism and potential weight gain, fatigue, and depression (12,13,194,217-219). This vicious cycle of weight gain, fatigue, and depression that is associated with stress can be prevented….

DIETING

Acute or chronic dieting can result in a significant decrease in intracellular and circulating T3 levels by up to 50% (46,47,51,90), which significantly reduces basal metabolic rate (number of calories burned per day) by 15-40% (48,230,232). Insulin resistance/diabetes/metabolic syndrome/obesity <== [Caused by excess sugar/junk food consumption]

As with leptin resistance, it has been shown in numerous studies that insulin resistance, diabetes, or metabolic syndrome have associated significant reduction in T4 to T3 conversion,…

There is a lot more and 283 papers referenced.

As someone with hypothyroidism, I learned a long time ago that the way doctor’s diagnose hypothyroidism is totally inadequate. They check your TSH, and if it’s in range, they don’t do anything for you. But they don’t check your free T3 and T4 levels, which are much more accurate. TSH is a pituitary hormone and older people don’t necessarily have a fully functioning pituitary.

Also, their standard treatment is levothyroxine (synthroid) which is a synthetic T4 only drug. For an awful lot of people with hypothyroidism, it is totally inadequate because their bodies aren’t converting T4 to T3. For many of those people (myself included) the only thing that works is natural dessicated thyroid (Armour Thyroid, Naturethroid, etc.), but you can’t find many doctors who will prescribe it. This was the only treatment for over 50 years and it worked well for people. But the drug companies weren’t making money from it, so they pretty much convinced all doctors that Synthroid was better. Another case of not asking the patients.

I think my Mom was on the older stuff for her thyroid.
….

It is amazing how often the patient is more informed than the doctor. I was hypoglycemic from the time I was 19 but the doctor refused to do a glucose challenge test because I was ‘too young’ to be hypoglycemic. I had friends, one a diabetic who recognized when I went into insulin shock in a cave, and another who was hypoglycemic who taught me how to control the problem via diet. They did more for me than that doctor ever did.

Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) is the result of insulin resistance so I probably have the “…significant reduction in T4 to T3 conversion…” I certainly run a low body temperature.

Yes, I can definitely sympathize. I’ve had horrible experiences with doctors trying to treat my thyroid, a problem that is very easy to deal with if you have the right medication. That’s probably why I seldom go to doctors anymore and believe very little of what they tell me.

Gail Combs

EXACTLY!

Aside for my bout with Covid? pneumonia/asthma in 2018, I haven’t been to a doctor in a couple of decades.

Linda

Yes, I remember that. And I had a good laugh when so-called “experts” were saying how dangerous Armour Thyroid is. Ha! It saved the lives of countless people for over 50 years without a problem.

TradeBait2

I forgot a few items we are also using nutritionally have are probably helpful in building the immune system as well other factors:

Multi-collagen protein powder (Ancient Nutrition) – daily
Goli Supergreens – daily
Goli Superfruit – daily
Goli Apple Cider Vinegar – daily

Please

I might suggest that once we have a consensus on the best types of preventive measures, can we post that so others can quickly access that?

I might also suggest an addendum to what meds/vits play well together and what doesn’t. Also maybe a section or blurb about what to take on empty stomachs versus with food.

Please

Example: I was reading that IVM should be taken on an empty stomach, then read elsewhere to take it on a full stomach, as the ’empty stomach’ directions were for parasites in the stomach and that was the best way to treat them with IVM. Full stomach allows for the IVM to be ingested into your system better.

So for me it feels like take IVM with food or shortly after.

Zinc is another that should be taken with food as it can upset an empty stomach.

Hi, I’m About to start with ivermectin and was wondering about food and vitamins which may may hinder it. I don’t use any pharmaceuticals so that’s not a problem.
