…The problem with the new fear campaign over the omicron variant is the further degradation of liberty and Constitutional rights already manifesting because of it.
As the new Cold War with China ratchets up, the Western world has dealt the cards against themselves. The trumpet of freedom and liberty cannot be sounded without charges of hypocrisy and hollowness as we witness the supposedly free democratic world, especially in places like Australia and New Zealand (not to mention the United Kingdom and Europe), engage in the some of the most vicious and tyrannical lockdowns in the world. These lockdowns, restructuring of government power and control over businesses and individuals, aim at one thing: the remaking of our relationship to the state.
What the totalitarians who have weaponized the coronavirus fail to acknowledge is that they have politicized the virus, not conservatives, libertarians, and the few remaining civil liberals who are concerned with the aggressive and militant overreach of the federal government and medical institutions.
The new totalitarians assert those of us who wish to keep the flame of liberty and the human spirit alive of politicizing the virus. Shame is their calling card. The claim that liberty-loving and defending individuals have weaponized the virus for political purposes doesn’t stand up to scrutiny.

If you are planning on experimenting with Coke and Mentos, the experts (eepybird) strongly recommend the use of DIET Coke. They go through the stuff by the pallet, and they would still be cleaning up after the first case if they still used sugary Coke.

They certainly weren’t revolting against God or His Word — the Roman Catholic Church had already done that.
People were revolting against the corruption and abuses of the Roman Catholic Church, weren’t they?

The term “Roman Catholicism” is to differentiate between Roman “Orthodox”, Russian Orthodox, and Greek Orthodox.
Seems Catholicism split long before the 16th Century. And symbolism was used by the gnostics, cults, and Satanists long before then.
People tend to cluster into groups of “like minds” (despite what the “diversity” or “equality” clowns want), and use signs and symbols as both means of communication and confirmation and connection with their collective identity.
The globalists and illuminati (and their feeder organization, the Freemasons, etc.) know this. And they parade their signs and symbols and rites (e.g. the Shriners) before the “great unwashed” (or perhaps the “great unvaxxed”) in order to lord it over them, and “rub in” their “superiority” and our “inferiority”.

If you will compare the church revealed in Scripture to the Roman Catholic Church, you will discover that they’re not even similar.

That’s not true.
I’ve had this discussion many times, because fortunately Roman Catholics are willing to engage the discussion (at least initially), while many others simply won’t.
Some Roman Catholics deny that they are Roman Catholics, or that “Roman Catholic” is somehow a pejorative. Others staunchly declare that they are Roman Catholic.
It came up most recently (here) when DJT was nominating several more Roman Catholics to pack the (not)Supreme Court.
I (again) looked up the Wiki bios for each of the members of the (not)Supreme Court, and their own bios described them as “Roman Catholic”.
But the (not)Supremes are not authoritative in Roman Catholicism, the Pope is (a position and title for which there is zero authority in God’s Word or God’s design for His church). Even an elder (a.k.a. bishop) is required by the Authority of God’s Word to be the husband of one wife and the father of at least one child, and his child or children must be faithful, or they cannot serve.
There must be tens of thousands of bishops in the RCC. To my knowledge, none of them are married or have children, unless they converted from some other denomination.
There are no cardinals, no archbishops and no popes in God’s design for His church. Those positions and titles are creations of men, by definition.
But your argument over ‘Roman Catholic’ is not with me, it’s with the Pope and the Vatican’s own website:

The ‘universal church’ is the Lord’s church, the body of believers.
What do they believe in?
God the Father, Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit.

The answer is God’s Word, the inspired Word of God.
There are many churches in the world. Is it not true that all of them but one are necessarily of men and not God?
How can we recognize which church is the one established by God?
It could be any church which actually follows and adheres to God’s Word, in all things, without adding to or subtracting from God’s Word.
If you compare the Roman Catholic Church to the Lord’s church in Scripture, you will see that they bear almost no resemblance to one another.
That’s true for most churches, and you can tell just by going to their website and looking at their “About Us” or “Statement of Faith” pages, and just compare what they say about themselves to the plain language of God’s Word.

I have spent a lot of time over the years debating with Roman Catholics, because at least to a point, it seems that more Roman Catholics are willing to engage than members of other denominations, generally speaking. And I have followed many arguments others were making, but I have not seen anybody make the kind of arguments I present.

They’re basic logic questions, which in my experience, very few ‘religious’ people engage in. It’s much ‘safer’ to get lost in the weeds of theology, where no resolution can ever occur.
But with basic logic questions, you can put someone in the position to either answer or capitulate. Which — if one is actually interested in an answer — is the obvious thing to do, so I don’t know why more people don’t do it.
I’m not arguing anything complex or esoteric, just asking the most basic, primal, black & white questions imaginable, and watching everyone run away, because they have no answer.
And the strangest thing, is that doesn’t seem to bother most people.
It would bother me.

There is nothing to give a rest to, and in any case I did not begin this. I just ask questions, searching for truth, and instead of a responsive reply, I get hostility.
And all that does is raise suspicion, causing further inquiry.

That is my observation from the position of being neither. I consider myself as “non-religious” basically. Because no one religion I’ve ever studied encompasses my innate belief system. I say “innate” because as far as I can remember, I’ve always had it.
I do think that the first part of what I wrote here needs to be carefully considered as we engage each other. Because I think it is partly to blame for some of the controversy we have seen lately between people who should be on the same team. Judging others based on their religion is dangerous.

I’ve actually resolved not to get into the nitty gritty on this site unless it is correcting an objective falsehood, i.e., the role of Constantine. The whole symbolism explanation was to explain that it is its own language. The fact that it was adopted is beside the point.
We are all just not on the same page in so many ways, discussion just will turn into the same circular arguments that I’ve been exposed to for the last twenty years on sites like this.

This may sound strange, because I don’t know if most people ever stopped to think about it, but where is the Authority in God’s Word for Protestantism?
Or “denominationalism”?
What are these things?
Where did they come from, and by whose Authority?
It’s the exact same question for Roman Catholicism.
Where in Scripture does God authorize different groups of people to believe different things?
And they must believe different things, otherwise they wouldn’t have different groups, they would be the same group, right?
If someone is not a Roman Catholic, that doesn’t necessarily mean they are a Protestant. It probably does, most of the time, from a pure numbers standpoint, but not always. The person may just be a Christian.
Not Roman Catholic, not Protestant, not Orthodox, not anything besides a Christian, because none of those other things existed in the first century, and they are not found anywhere in God’s Word, so where is the Authority for them today?

Do they really believe the same, or is that just another way of agreeing to disagree?
Should we be “I’m okay, you’re okay” about it, and go along to get along?
Is that Christian?
Is that what Jesus would do, or have us do?
That’s certainly worldly, but how much care do we have for one another, if someone’s belief or practice is in plain contradiction to Scripture, or similarly, without Authority in Scripture?
It’s such a basic thing.
It doesn’t matter what I think about anything (except to me), but if someone claims to be Christian, then it does matter what God thinks about it, doesn’t it?
If so, then what does God’s Word say?
It either supports the belief or practice — by command, example or necessary inference — or it doesn’t. It really is that simple, the large majority of the time.
If people are going to do things for which there is no Authority in God’s Word, that is going to cause division, every single time. I suspect that is the cause of nearly all division in Christianity, i.e., departing from God’s Word.
If one claims to believe in God, then by definition, God is the highest Authority there is or ever can be.
And God’s Word (the Scriptures, the inspired Word of God) is exactly that — the Word of God.
Ergo, the Word of God is the highest Authority for doctrine, belief and practice that there is or ever can be.
Any doctrine or practice or belief that is NOT found in God’s Word is, by definition, of Man and not of God.
So if someone introduces a doctrine or practice or belief that is not found in God’s Word, then it has no more Authority than a mask mandate.
And we should ignore it, on the same principle, because it is without Authority.
In the case of a mask, it is without Authority in the Law. In the case of any extra-Biblical doctrine or practice or belief, it is without Authority in God’s Word.
This is as basic as it gets, and yet it is a source of constant division, because people want to follow after the doctrines, commandments and traditions of men. In spite of God’s Word warning specifically against it. I don’t know why people want to do it. But many do.
If all we want to do is ‘get along’ in a worldly sense, then by all means, we should slap each other on the back and say “you get to heaven your way, and I’ll get to heaven my way, and we’ll meet together there.”

Symbolism actually evolved in Christianity prior to the splintering of the Faith in the west in the sixteenth century Anno Domini, and the rich tradition of said symbolism is one of the aspects of the culture that was destroyed along with a lot of stained glass windows, altar stones, and other art work when the revolt happened.
That is an extremely loaded statement.
It asserts that anything ‘evolves’ in Christianity, when that is patently untrue. Nothing ‘evolves’ in Christianity. God’s Word says the same thing today as it said in the first century, and as it will say in the 30th century, if we get that far.
Then it implies that somebody is responsible for destroying a rich culture and tradition, and whoever that somebody is, the writer is certainly not blaming Roman Catholics, so it’s no big trick of deduction to figure out who is getting blamed.
Then the writer refers to “the revolt”, as if the people who were being persecuted by the RCC had done something wrong by opposing tyranny.
Imagine the level of abuse it took, in order to get people to do anything about it. We’re experiencing it right now, today. Look at the abuse that not just our country, but the entire world is willing to put up with, and still do nothing.
Just as it was before the American Revolution, it’s not a new observation, it was already of old time, which was before them, which is to say that it (i.e., doing nothing until things get so bad that you are forced into action) is part of the human condition:

But the writer glosses over all of that, and by implication, pins the blame on the victims of the RCC.

I was not judging anyone. When someone asserts something in matters of God, without substantiation, and it appears to be in error, we should clarify or inquire, because it matters.
If God is true, it will certainly matter on Judgment Day, if it doesn’t matter now. That’s why it doesn’t make any sense (to me) that many people don’t seem to care more about the truth. There’s not going to be any games on Judgment Day. There won’t be any dodging, there won’t be any misdirection plays, there won’t be any dishonesty of any kind. And there won’t be any running away.
There will only be truth.
It baffles me that people who self-identify as Christian don’t seem to care more about that. If we can’t defend what we believe here on an anonymous forum, how in the world are we going to answer for ourselves at the Judgment?
None of the games people play in order to avoid answering basic questions are going to fly on Judgment Day.
Oh, Steve, you and I could go around and around all day in a discussion of religion! And I would find it fun, and interesting, and ultimately it wouldn’t change a thing about how I view you, and your beliefs, or change a thing about mine. I do not identify as Christian, as I think I have said here before. I don’t identify as any religion. I have lots of reasons; I could write a book!
You refer to the Word of God as written. However, there are many books and writings that were excluded from said Word by the very people who are at issue, the founders of the Catholic church. This is the contradiction that always holds me up. Do those books, which were chosen to be excluded long before the schism into Protestant and Catholic, count? (I know, I know, you are neither; but they are general terms to distinguish the major divisions of the modern faith).
I mean, think about it, really think it through. Nobody ever does, in my opinion. I have friends whose entire daily life revolves around the Bible, who won’t eat “unclean” food, who make every life decision based on what the Book says. And they would say the Catholic church isn’t Biblical. I know, because we have talked about it. They believe that the Catholics included paganism in their church practices so pagans would become Christians.
And yet, they believe the Bible, as collated and edited (not edited by changing words, but by selection) by the people who founded the Catholic church, is all there is. The other books, which were not only excluded but actively destroyed after the composition of the Bible was decided, aren’t relevant.
The argument I have heard about this is that God inspired the men who chose the books to do what they did. But then, doesn’t it follow that God could have inspired the parts of Catholicism and other sects that aren’t in the Bible? Did God inspire the inclusion/exclusion of what is in the Bible and then stop inspiring?
Religion is a very touchy subject, because it is based on something that cannot be rationalized. My own belief is that you won’t have to “answer for yourself” on Judgment Day. God already knows everything about me; why would He need me to explain anything? That’s another conundrum I have. If God is omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent (and I do believe that), why do so many act as if there is anything at all we could do, think, say, or believe that He doesn’t already know? That is a HUMAN way to think.
Anyway, that is my response. And it only applies to me. Because other people’s beliefs are theirs, and theirs alone, and are not for me to judge.

If I cook asparagus I put 2″ of water in a pan until it boils turn it off put asparagus in for 5 minutes take asparagus out is nice crispy.

Oh, yeah. I like mine coated with olive oil, salt and pepper and roasted at 500 degrees for a few minutes. Carmelizes the sugars. Delicious!

Come to think of it, there are a whole lot of vegetables that are traditionally served in the most unappetizing manner possible.
For example, canned spinach is everything I’d imagine cow barf to be (except Gail tells me ruminants don’t barf) — but I love fresh salads with 50/50 spinach and “spring mix”.
Someone could probably run fresh brussel sprouts through a mandoline and serve them on top of that salad, and I’d think they were a great crunchy addition, even though boiling such sprouts releases a substance akin to tear gas.
I did once have sprouts served in a way that I ate them and enjoyed them. It was at a local French-style bistro that is now long out of business. I think it was something like sous vide in butter.
I have to confess that my childhood home/family culinary experiences (English/Irish) left me traumatized. People long accustomed to hear me saying “no” are frequently stunned at what I will eat (and enjoy) at finer restaurants — if I go into a tasting menu or prix fixe at a Michelin 2-star, I intend to eat everything put in front of me. [I haven’t yet done omakase, but it’s likely I will someday.]

This is someone currently awaiting FDA approval for a REAL, clinically proven, life saving drug. The problem is matching that 1200 numerator with the CORRECT denominator. The 1200 value has nothing to do with any of the trials – that is the number of deaths which occurred during the first 90 days of the actual release of the vaccine. We’re talking millions of jabs.
I’m not saying the jabs were safer than the disease – for many people, very likely NOT safer.

Good, because the Nuremberg Code only pertains to experiments on humans, as far as I can tell. People have to give their permission to participate. We can argue that vaccines are experimentation without our consent, but it isn’t obvious like the WWII German experiments were.

In Germany I read people are forced taking the jab and have to sign that they understand it is experimental and has risque. I am not sure if it was true. Right now we are bombarded with misinformation.

Fascinating. I had a “negative” antibody test 6 months after my first case. I’m going to get multiple tests this time, to see if I actually did get antibodies.
I’ve been wondering about this. How sure are you that you had it way back when?
One would think you’d have been immune this time around.
Absolutely positive now. I’m convinced that I had original Wuhan the first time, and Delta this time.
What that says about immunity conferred by Wuhan strain – either the disease or the [horribly bad spike protein] vaccines, I can’t say, because I’m just a single case. I may not be “immunologically representative”, as I have multiple minor immune issues. But one way to interpret things is that I got 2 years of immunity out of natural infection, vs. a mere 2-4 months from the spike vaccines.
But I will say this – having a confirmed case now that is so nearly identical to what I had before, I am certain the first time was Wuhan.
This is another reason for people to have their own antigen tests. PCR can screw up, but if it matches an antigen test, you can likely trust the result.
There seems to be a lot of diversity in the nature and implementation of “natural immunity” – but whatever that diversity is, I expect that it should be able to explain my case.

I think I got coof December of 2018 (not 2019) after being very close to Baric’s lab and had long haulers continuously until my big bucks spat moxidectrin all over my hands in June.
Then late this spring I got something but it was completely gone in 36 hours. It was either Delta or a very nasty flu but it could not compete with Zinc, Selenium, Vit D3, Vit. C and green tea.
Oh and I had the loss of taste and smell.

I wish that I could say there was a lot of difference this time, thanks to ivermectin, but TBH I didn’t find the drug to make that much difference.
The one difference that seemed clearest this time was that I didn’t have an “exhausted day” (was at the beginning, last time) – that is, until I got monoclonal antibody therapy, which knocked me out for a full day. Same with my wife – she also took ivermectin and had no “exhaustion” – until after mAb therapy.
I think the ivermectin helped “flatten the curve” of viral load, and may (knock on wood) be responsible for things not (so far) going truly south. But as I look back over the evidence, I’m seeing several other drugs as being more critical.
I have a thousand observations that I made this time, because I was READY to make them. I just have not had the energy to post about them. Worse still, I’m now taking care of my wife, whose case is delayed from mine by 4-5 days. Add to that my general weakness. Thus, why I keep putting off a report on what happened.

My first step will be getting a negative antigen test!
Reason I asked is I did the finger prick antibody test and prominently in the instructions it said that either way the result wasn’t totally reliable.
I thought well what’s the point then, would seem more logical to do at least three at the sane time and take the best out of that.
IMO the home antigen tests are reliable. Beyond that, I will use my own cases and logic to expand the zone of trust, carefully.

Had a quick trip to Billings, MT Tuesday/Wednesday. But Monday came down with the crud and lost my voice for a day. To prevent everyone from going covid code red I did the DIY covid test so if anyone asked I could say covid negative.
In the instructions it says to put the swab into each nostril and turn 15 times. I made it to about 9 when I started into a huge sneezing fit. At least my nose cleared out. But no way am I doing the other test where they go all the way to the brain and take a right turn.

There was a time that the OR waiting room at U of M’s Mott Children’s Hospital was basically the crossroads of the main exterior entrance for that part of the extensive hospital complex. There was a piano in a nearby alcove and periodically some of the University students would come & play–incredibly soothing when in the stressful situation of waiting to hear about your child’s surgery.

Kyle Rittenhouse Reveals What’s Happening To The Gun He Used For Self-Defense – Conservative Brief
Kyle Rittenhouse revealed that he is having his AR-15, which was used in self-defense after he was attacked at a Black Lives Matter rally, destroyed.
Rittenhouse sat down with Charlie Kirk, host of The Charlie Kirk Show, and Human Events editor Jack Posobiec for an interview and spoke more in-depth about the build-up before the trial, the non-guilty verdict, and what life has been like for him since the trial ended.
Kirk noted one of the more memorable moments from the trial, where Kenosha Assistant District Attorney Thomas Binger held up Rittenhouse’s AR-15, put his finger on the trigger, and literally pointed the gun at the gallery.
Kirk played a clip of Binger holding the gun.
“He was pointing his gun at the gallery and I looked at my attorney. I said, ‘Corey [Chirafisi], that’s Gun Safety 101. Loaded or unloaded, treat a gun like it’s loaded,’” Rittenhouse said.
“This was your gun, right?” Kirk asked.
“That’s my rifle – that we’re having destroyed right now,” he replied. “We don’t want anything to do with that.”
At another point in the interview, Rittenhouse addressed what happened in the weeks after he turned himself in to police following the shooting deaths of Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber and the wounding of Gaige Grosskreutz.
All of the shootings were deemed acts of self-defense earlier this month when a Kenosha, Wis., jury found the teen not guilty of murder and reckless endangerment charges.
Kirk asked Rittenhouse to explain why he was in jail for so long.
“So, when I got arrested, [attorneys] Lin Wood and John Pierce started raising funds without my family’s permission,” Rittenhouse began. “Then they went on to fight an extradition motion using a novel argument saying I was in a militia so John Pierce could be paid and Lin Wood could get paid and grow his business and profit, apparently.
“And, while doing that, I said I don’t want to fight extradition, I did nothing wrong, I wanna go litigate this in Wisconsin because I didn’t do a single thing wrong,” Rittenhouse continued.
He went on to say that the two attorneys “didn’t respect” his beliefs or wishes, but that in the end, the team lost “the extradition battle” and he “got shipped off to Wisconsin” without the attorneys’ knowledge.
Rittenhouse said Pierce “had no idea until I called him that I was in Wisconsin.”
“That is your lawyer,” Kirk asserted in disbelief.
Rittenhouse went on to say that he did not know at the time what a militia was.
“And then, Lin Wood is going on with all this ‘QAnon’ stuff — ‘Q-Lin’ — he’s just off his rails, completely insane, he needs to get on meds or something,” Rittenhouse continued.
After Kirk noted that Rittenhouse, at the time, was legally considered a minor at the age of 17, he pointed out again that his attorneys, for a time, had no idea their client was in jail in Wisconsin.

Today’s date is not only a palindrome (the same front to back) but it’s also an ambigram which means it’s the same upside down as well!
My mom told me that in first grade, I (a leftie) wrote upsidedown and backwards. So today is a great day for me to write the date. In second grade, my teacher was also left-handed so she got me turned around.

You’re probably right. The Telegram one looks just the same, but his Twitter does say it’s his one and only account, which could mean several things.
