Just in case any of the readership was in a cave Monday night and all day Tuesday, Politico threw a grenade into the swamp by publishing almost one hundred pages of a draft decision in an upcoming Supreme Court release that would overturn Roe vs. Wade, the infamously BAD bench law that suppressed state laws regarding the regulation of the practice of killing children in the womb, known by its sanitized clinical name “abortion.”

As Tuesday progressed, the story took on flesh, and what we do know is that the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court affirmed the text’s authenticity, which included the names of the five justices that voted in February to overturn Roe (Alito, Thomas, Gorsuch, Kavannaugh, Coney-Barrett). What we also know is that the leak investigation is not being turned over to the FBI, but will be handled in house at the Supreme Court.
What we don’t know for sure is who leaked the thing and why, although speculation is rampant and includes: a staffer from Justice Sonya Sotomayor’s group looking to fire up the far left base ahead of the midterms; a way to get ahead of the whole thing for the justices themselves; and – the most “out there” of the group – the white hats sending a shot across the bow of the other side.

Whatever the case is, we in the pro-life movement really must temper any euphoria as Roe v. Wade being overturned would simply send the entire issue to the state legislatures, and thus be a victory for the tenth amendment.
Not that that is a bad thing, but that is not going to make the procedure illegal nationwide, and changes precious few hearts and minds on the matter.

Polling is an odd universe. Ask if people want something good for free and there always will be a minority that claims to not be sure, to have doubts.
Which makes the 84% responding to a new poll about American elections nearly unanimous that they want voter ID.
The polling is from Honest Elections and was described by columnist Paul Bedard in the Washington Examiner.
He explained, “Despite President Joe Biden’s assault on election integrity efforts in several states, voters in record numbers are demanding that identification be presented to get a ballot and want reforms across the board in all 50 states.”…
Bedard explained the polling to which he was given access confirmed 84% want voter ID, and “huge percentages of black and Hispanic voters are behind the surge in support as the nation readies for the fall congressional midterm elections.”
The polling was done for the American Legislative Exchange Council and the National Conference of State Legislatures, he explained, and “is the latest to show that the push by Biden and his media allies has fallen flat, especially among minorities who the president claimed would be hurt by election integrity laws passed in states such as Georgia.”
“Photo ID laws are a case in point: Support for photo ID laws is seven points higher than a year ago. Left-wing special interests and politicians like President Biden carried out an intense, often misleading, campaign meant to stir opposition to policies like strong voter ID. Their efforts have had the opposite effect. More people than ever — including most black and Hispanic voters — back photo ID laws,” the pollster told Bedard.
The report to the ALEC and NCSL also confirmed there was support “for a ban on outside funding of elections, which would have blocked a controversial organization funded by Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg that boosted turnout in Democratic areas in the 2020 election.”
Bedard noted the poll also said “75% would vote for a ballot initiative requiring everyone to show photo ID in person or write an ID number on a mail ballot. And 75% said it would be ‘easy’ to write an ID number on a ballot.”
Intriguing if accurate. That would mean more waking up is happening and the people are going to begin to demand real change on that score.

Doctors have an awful lot to answer for. They didn’t want to lose their jobs, so instead of doing something that worked, they put people on ventilators and remdesivir and killed them. After the first few deaths, they knew. They kept pushing the death jabs, even though they were seeing tons of people with horrible side effects and knew some had died as a direct result. They can pretend not to know, but they knew. Maybe they can’t be held legally responsible, but they are morally responsible. I really don’t know how they can live with themselves.
Spot on Linda and Wolf. An entire day or week on here needs to be spent exclusively on this subject so we have the ammo to go to war over this.
Nazis. The medical community among other groupings and government turned into Nazis. Yes, they knew and participated for whatever reasons. I don’t care what reasoning they used. The first rule of the medical community is to do no harm. They knowingly did harm when they agreed to prevent proven therapeutics from being used by the public. They did harm when they openly pushed and promoted experimental gene therapy shots for money. They did harm when they declared COVID as the primary cause of death to get money when it was some other condition. They did harm knowingly in so many ways it is almost unbelievable. The fundamental rule within science is to question the science. They did the opposite. Lockstep with evil.
But we who have used our brains know. There needs to be more of us and far less of them and the sheeple who trust Nazis over their own family members and friends. Right on. Couple of things:
First, the AMA and the other “professional organizations” that doctors belong to are very powerful. So is the “word of mouth network” among doctors. Let’s say a doctor is dissatisfied with the current job and wants something “better.” Said doctor calls a colleague or two and asks them to “keep an eye out for the next opening.” Said doctor gets a message from colleague “Dr. ABC” about an opening at XYZ hospital that’s coming up and gives the contact information for the head of the department at that hospital. Said doctor calls the head of the department, talks to that person, likes what they hear, and starts the interview process. Bingo! — said doctor is hired at the hospital to begin work the day after the incumbent leaves. Since the hospital may have to “advertise” for a “replacement”, this is done, but it’s a formality only.
Second, about the HUGE numbers of doctors who got “vaccinated and boosted” because their hospital / clinic told them, “Get the shot or get fired.” By mid-2021, Yours Truly believes that doctors KNEW that the “vaccines” were not only rushed through the process of development and testing — they KNEW that adverse events and deaths from the “vaccines” were being reported in increasing numbers (contrary to what VAERS was “reporting”). Yet, these doctors bowed to the CDC, the FDA, to Fauci, to the drug reps, and to their employers.
What will the state of medicine be in the next 3 – 5 years, when the damage from the “vaccines”, plus the continuing alteration of the recipient professionals’ DNA starts to really show up? Think about one’s PCP, for example, “fully vaccinated and boosted.” That person may not be practicing in 3 – 5 years (or perhaps sooner). What about other medical professionals — dentists? Specialists? Nurses?
Professionals who went along with/promoted/submitted to the shots & propaganda are now highly suspect in their professional judgement to me. I want practically Nothing to do with Any medical professional currently–this is a Very Strange place to be after 2 1/2 decades of managing an extremely medically complex child & relying on medical opinions, medications, & procedures to meet his myriad needs!

My little brother had to have a hernia repaired, and the internist sent him to Dr. F. It was taken care of, then a friend of my brother had to have one repaired while still in college and he saw Dr. F, and his girlfriend said, “You need to talk to my dad. He’s a doctor. Just don’t go to anybody.” And the girl’s dad said, “Dr. F. is fine. He’s in good hands.”
They DO NOT speak ill of the quacks, which, IMO is a massive problem.

I entered college when I was 16, and graduated when I was 20. I confess that I spent a great deal of that time seeking intimate relations with females — sometimes successfully — and thought of any “inconvenient” consequences of such as disposable. This never had to be directly addressed…..
But, even then, I recognized Roe v. Wade as a complete piece of garbage. SCOTUS completely screwed the pooch in deciding there was a national solution for a personal problem and thwarting the evolution of various solutions state by state.
Who knows what alternate universes may lie on the other side of Roe v. Wade — maybe another me could happily reflect on an early marriage and happy brood — but yanking any discussion away from the people and their legislatures and commanding on-high from robed harpies turned decades of my life into an unnatural anti-child environment.
I went to college young, too. When we are young, and not wise, as wisdom comes from experience, we don’t see things unless we are taught them.
I remember very well the “teaching” on abortion when I was in college. From “it’s a clump of cells” to “it’s a woman’s choice.” But as an older, wiser person, I realize that those are lies designed to allow wrong things to be accepted by society.
It’s NOT a clump of cells in a matter of a handful of weeks, it’s a recognizable human being. And the woman’s choice is generally made before a child is conceived. She “chose” the act that did it. In some cases not, but that is another discussion, in my opinion.
Disconnecting that choice from its consequences is the great lie. The sex act IS about possible conception. It’s not just fun and games. So every decision to enter into it involves the choice to possibly conceive a baby. The sexual revolution of the 1960s separated the choice from the consequences by telling people they could just have fun. The narrative became “do what you want,” which *coincidentally* was the mantra of occultist Aleister Crowley (“do what thou wilt).”

It’s clear its five or six separate clips put together and the idea is that they were all clipped from some part of speeches that were given during a blood moon. Truthfully I doubt anyone has the time to go back and see if such speeches were ever given during a blood moon containing the words for each segment. To make this believable it would need a link to each speech that shows the date. Without such it gets dismissed.

There ARE reasonable (but not well-grounded) conservative arguments for not overturning RvW. Those arguments are perfect ammo for neocons and NeverTrumpers, and are clearly being deployed to them.
I think overturning and looking at Life Amendments is potentially BETTER, but that is the rough road of doing things right. It will not be easy, and many babies will die until it is done. It could actually open up floodgates of abortion and even infanticide in leftist states.
RvW has *always* protected restrictions of abortion NATION-WIDE in the second and third trimesters. It’s a CRUTCH, but it’s a working, comfortable and easy crutch. In fact, I have told many people, on many occasions, that pro-lifers finally started WINNING when they realized that RvW worked better for THEM, than it does for the other side, if they only USED IT, instead of believing the propaganda from the left that RvW only served THEM. The left HYPNOTIZED US on RvW for decades.
When the pro-life side starts pushing deeply into the first trimester, they will begin to encounter backfire from not only the abortion crowd, but contraception, and then medical freedom per se. RvW has been barbed wire on that dangerous ground, that has protected the pro-life side from its own potential zealotry and then reversal. With RvW gone, we may see more division and infighting on the life side.

The military over here, especially since von der Leyen headed them, is ill-equipped, ill-trained, ill-prepared, and, thanks to the jab, just plain ill.

The pope speculated that “NATO’s barking at Russia’s doorstep” could have forced Putin to launch a military campaign on February 24.

Roe v. Wade is, and always has been, an abomination. Considering the stir over abortion, it might be though, upon initial review, to be about a specific abortion case. But its greater target is states’ rights and Federalism…..and, by swatting those aside, the rights of individuals.
Roe v. Wade shunted aside 50+ debates regarding the legality of abortions in favor of a judicial fiat. SCOTUS inserted themselves into a dispute that was none of their business and constructed a legal regime that satisfied nobody.
And the really pernicious part of the whole thing is that you could not flee that decision within the United States and Territories. The nine robed Nazgul made it apply throughout the jurisdiction of SCOTUS. Not only could the Planned Parenthood butchers like Kermit Gosnell rampage their way through their local neighborhoods, it was forbidden to resist them in better ones.

Most people believe Robby is MAGA. But the state officials have been insistent on stopping the carpetbagging happening around the country. So he was denied just like Ortagus. He probably would have won. Sometimes good folks will lose the opportunity because of it, but the long term effect is positive IMO. At least it is in the current environment in TN. The state legislature is loaded with MAGA. Gov. Lee has zero choice but to sign or get out of the way because they have enough votes to override a veto. Still have a dwindling number of old RINOs in play at the state level, but if they want to get anything done they need the support of MAGA. Not enough Dems to build a coalition.
If Lee disagrees with a bill that has been passed, he typically allows it to become law without his signature. If a good MAGA candidate wanted to primary him they would have legit shot to win. Lee probably thinks he can step into a Senator spot when Blackburn retires, so he is straddling the MAGA and RINO establishment fence. He’s not bad, he’s just not full MAGA. He is very much against abortion.

Diving the Monterey area is really a fun adventure. It’s like Rumsfeld’s “known knowns, known unknowns” all the time, where situational awareness can be the difference between a thoroughly enjoyable dive and sheer misery.
You can start descending, and find the water is nearly opaque — you can only see your glove at the end of your arm. Then you and your dive buddy can dive to about 30 feet, find a rock reef, zoom in and watch nudibranchs and small crabs meander through seaweed, hydrocorals, and anenomes. You get a nice long dive because you’re not exercising as much and get to appreciate the smaller details.
Or you can descend below the gorp and have a fantastic landscape open up. Sometimes it’s just neat things — like watching rain from underneath in a kelp forest. I’ve had a seal molest me by grabbing my fins in its mouth — first one, then the other.
And, then, when you go anywhere in the world to dive, they go around the room and ask everyone where they normally dive to make sure they can safely dive local conditions. When you say “Monterey”, they frequently send you out of the room.
Kiddo liked watching that fish. Still thinking we will go up there.
