There is also the dashboard. The original meaning was a board at the front of a wagon, that stopped mud and dirt being dashed up by the horses, from hitting the passengers in the front.

In High School, I had a buddy who lived close to the school in a condo complex with a pool. Being that Santa Clarita is generally hot as Hades in summer, visiting and doing a cool-off dip was a good idea.

We use a program called Wordly Wise which has a weekly vocab lesson of 15 words which is definitely challenging, doubles as part of his spelling plus 1 word of the week.

I trained my cat to be on a feeding schedule. I didn’t just jump up every time he yowled for food. Waited until the scheduled time. Now the yowling is only at the proper time.

His vocab book makes him understand usage of multiple definitions of several words, sentence structure, reading to understand passages, etc. Interesting that his actual language arts book for 4th grade is, to me, far too simple. Really his Comprehension is high, but his willingness to apply it in writing stinks.
Oh, I have to share this order of adjectives graphic… LOL we actually discussed this once when I was an editor in an org that had perhaps 20 or more of us working around the US. For most of us, we know instinctively the right order for adjectives but it must be hard for English as a second language learners.
I hadn’t heard about this one, but I did see highlighted once that we instinctively know what nouns are “mass” nouns versus “count” nouns. We ask for a quantity of rice, not a number of grains of rice, just for instance.
The question came up in one of the papers another editor was editing for an analyst. Yet another editor in the “community of interest” (online chat room) knew the order. I found this graphic later but had never thought about it before.

Designs for Health Nattokinase with Serrapeptidase – Natto-Serrazime + Proteolytic Enzymes
Not sure if this is a good brand, right ingredients etc. Found on amazon. Seems pricey. Wondering if this is worth taking? Any concerns w taking w other supplements? Ty.
Well, nattokinase is a fermentation byproduct of soy, so it is basically from a food source. I try to use food-based medicine as much as I can, because I think it is less likely to cause issues.
There are two good food sources for proteolytic enzymes, papaya and pineapple. Papaya has papain, pineapple has bromelain. Bromelain shows up in the supplement brand I use for quercetin, so be sure you aren’t “doubling up” if you add another supplement.
Serrepeptase is another proteolytic enzyme. All of these are anti-inflammatory, so if you take any other herbal or pharmaceutical anti-infammatories, these could be adding to that effect in the body. Many anti-inflammatories shouldn’t be taken with blood thinners. You should just be wary of using too many herbs/supplements that all do the same kind of things.
If you are eating a healthy diet, and don’t suffer from digestive or inflammation issues, I would stick with just nattokinase. If you do have inflammation or gut issues, this supplement could be worth a try. This does seem pricey to me, and knowing I can get the proteolytic enzymes from food sources, I might try that route before I used the supplement.
Its high bp, stress, lots of reflux. My primary just added a 2nd bp med. Partly also dt my hysterectomy. I dont seem to get enough stress relief or rest and its all not good. Plus leftover damage to smell and taste from covid. I just really dont know what to do.
B vitamins, calming magnesium, 5-HTTP, Ashwaganda, and exercise for stress. Excercise will also make you tired and sleep better too. Is there anywhere you can walk? You MUST have rest. I like over counter Alteril brand for sleep. It contains melatonin, valerian, L-tryptophan, and 1 other to help sleep. Take 30mins before bed. Put away all stimulating devices and tv an hour before, sleep in cold dark room, so says my Doc every time I get my Ambien CR renewed.🙃
Spep dissolves endo and surgical adhesions/scar tissue really well and helps sinuses. I took high dose for 2yrs and got rid of a lot of back, knee, appy, belly pain. Took a break, now I’m on a lower dose for sinus help.

Some things are just funny. They stole a buffer/polisher from Harbor Freight — is this pathetic, or what? They stole a MAKE lockpicking kit, with tools and three sample locks……mind you, they torched the latch and broke it off to get in. I had two USB NERF missile launchers — they stole one.

My husband would seriously lament the loss of Any of his instruments…IF you Ever Do move I bet you’ll haul Way more stuff than you “need”–using “Pack Rats” is a bit of a clue…says the kettle to the pot! ☺
When I was young, my family moved according to peculiar family dynamics — I lived in 30 different places before I was 30. One of the ways of coping with this is to haul a bunch of crap along with you that doesn’t mean anything besides stability.
I’m now looking to vacate this property, where I’ve been for a couple of decades….and I’m looking to haul a bunch of crap along that symbolizes stability. *rolls eyes*
5 U-Box containers, 2 U-Haul 6×12 trailers, and both vehicles packed full, (twice with the pick-up towing the trailers). I thought I had shed most of my junk during my move from MD to TN 8 years ago! This time was more of a pain and we still are not settled in. The house is being worked on and we are staying with family in the meantime. Hoping by winter if we are lucky. Things move at a crawl here in the BOL.
That reminds me why my husband does not want to move .
He is a pack rat but has no qualms sorting my stuff that is mostly books.
Looks I am staying where I am but since the world has gone bunkers I mineswell stay here seems out of the way kind of place.

Wow…that’s A Lot of change to cope with! I moved 10 X in 10 years & That was difficult. My parents Still live in the house they bought when pregnant w/ me, their first child—so I had No frame of reference for such moving activities.
Being a sentimental pack rat has me holding on to things that others Might consider as junk but which have associative meaningful memories for me. Thankfully since “you can’t take it with you” we’ll Eventually be unburdened!
I moved over 40 times in 30 years….
The house before this, my first house, I moved into using a VW pick-up.
This house would take a couple, three 53 foot semis and 5 large livestock trailers. 🤓
I am NOT planning on moving except feet first!

Today, someone blew something up near the South Ukrainian nuclear power plant. Allegedly, a Russian missile fell just 300 meters from the block, which led to the shutdown of several substations.

So the question is, why hit the reactor area? It’s essentially pointless. It is enough to destroy the substations around the station (which is easy enough) and the desired effect will be achieved without any environmental consequences. Moreover, earlier, this is exactly what Russia did during attacks on infrastructure.
Here, as I understand it, the substations are NOT DAMAGED!!!!!, although there were short outages that did not particularly affect the operation of the station and the IPS of Ukraine as a whole, which already looks rather strange (The meaning of just such a blow for Russia is not clear from the word at all) and which leads me to the obvious answer – PROVOCATION, and very stupid, if the situation is looked at not by a “blonde from near Kyiv”, but by a specialist.

I watched the part of the ceremony that was inside the church, on Citizen Free Press. It was very well presented, I thought. I am always struck that that is where we emanated from. I watched both the funeral and the committal service this evening. The committal service was the most moving to me. The funeral was amazing but so formal and at such a huge place. The committal speakers and songs had a gentleness and focus on Jesus and Christianity that soothed my heart for Elizabeth and for all her people who cared about her and their commonwealth’s history. No matter your opinion of monarchy or Queen Elizabeth II, I think it was good for time to be spent today praying, praising God, and singing hymns.

Assuming it was a Roman silver coin, that would be a denarius, roughly 3.9 grams of 95% silver, or 3.7 grams pure silver (to compare, our silver dime weighed 2.5 grams from 1873-1964 and was 90 percent pure, for 2.25 grams of actual silver; so 6 denarii roughly equaled ten dimes in precious metal content).
The KJV calls it a “penny” which seems wrong at first but is technically true, as the English penny derives from the denarius. This was well known at the time of the KJV; in fact the pre-1971 abbreviation for a penny was “d.” (And why 16 penny nails are often labeled 16d nails here in the US…that, by the way was their weight, not their price. An English penny originally weighed one pennyweight.)
Coins issued in 30 CE (typically used as an approximation of the time of Jesus’s brief time in Jerusalem immediately before the crucifixion, and of course the year of the crucifixion itself–though I’ve seen suggestions that 33 CE would be a better date) would have borne the image of Tiberius, Rome’s second emperor (14-37 CE). In fact, you can still get denarii of Tiberius (they will often be marketed as ‘tribute pennies’). However, that doesn’t mean that the denarius Jesus used would have had Tiberius’ portrait on it, it could well have been an older one with Caesar Augustus on it (31 BCE – 14 CE). Or an even older one from the days of the Roman Republic.
Or it might not even have been a denarius; it could have been a coin of more local origin, such as a tetradrachm of Antioch (coins of all sorts of different types circulated, which is why there were moneychangers in general though the situation at the temple was a special case). The Antioch Tetradrachm would have had both Tiberius and Augustus on it. The Gospel writers weren’t numismatic geeks; they were (rightly) more focused on the point of the exchange.
Returning to the Tiberian denarius, the inscription on it was: “Ti[berivs] Caesar Divi Avg[vsti] F[ilivs] Avgvstvs”, which means “Caesar Augustus Tiberius son of the Divine Agustus.” The whole matter of emperors being worshiped as gods is very complicated, historically. The Senate elevated Augustus after his death, but did not do so for Tiberius. Nevertheless, in many of the provinces the Emperor was revered as a minor god. (Pagans had many, many gradations of gods, and believe there were people who “straddled” the line between god and human–the emperors would have been in the latter class, if at all.)

I see such a huge disconnect. We know the vaccines are causing deaths. We know “unexplained” deaths are increasing in huge numbers, and that most of that increase is from the vaccines.
Does the airline industry recognize this? Are they taking steps to have at least one healthy (i.e., unjabbed) pilot on board? I highly doubt that. So of course they’re probably not offering advice to vaxxed pilots and crew about taking care of their health due to the effects of vaccines on the body. I doubt they even know about that; and even if they did, to publicly admit it would be politically incorrect.
So people carry on in ignorance, and people are endangered or die as a result. It’s like watching a movie where you know who the bad guy is and you want to warn the actors, but you can’t. Only it’s real.

I ended up having to go to cost co for a membership again and towels there. Everywhere else either too expensive or not enough quantity. They do mot do a free day pass.
Oh no, our does, Sams also. But I have a friend who has one and can go with. What did you think of towels? Did you get?
I bought Charisma regular size and 2 bath sheets for mr gil, pkus the hand towel and wash cloth sets. I havent washed and used yet, but the bath sheets were 13.99 ea, towels7.99 ea, hand towel washcloth 4 pack 10.99 ea. Homegoods, target, everywhere i looked they cost more or i could only find towels and no hand towels or vice versa.
When I caught the sale, it was $2 off each towel and each set. Still the regular price is good and the towels are thick and excellent quality. First time I washed they did not pill or shed, still haven’t. They do shrink some, especially hand and wash, but that’s ok. I really like them, you will too.

There’s not a whole lot I buy from Costco. Membership and merchandise prices are higher than Sams. Even rotisserie chicken is $1more and doesn’t taste as good as Sam’s does. Friend calls it the liberal store, everything is organic, non gmo, blah blah blah. Cleaning supplies and paper goods are all higher than Sams. They don’t even have Pop Tarts friend says, LOL!!
