- ½ ounceCreme De Cacao
- 10 ouncesHot Chocolate (or different amount if your glass is smaller)
- add Whipped Cream
- add Cocoa Powder

HOW TO MAKE A SNOW PLOW COCKTAIL
PRE-STEP
Get a saucepan, glass mugs and measuring glass.
You are going to build this cocktail directly in the mugs, so after you measure out the ingredients, add to the glassware.
STEP ONE
Gather the ingredients – hot chocolate mix, Irish cream, creme de cacao and coconut rum. (A)
STEP TWO
Measure 1 ounces of Irish cream. (B)
STEP THREE
Measure .5 ounce of creme de cacao. (C)
STEP FOUR
Measure 1 ounce of coconut rum. (D)
STEP FIVE
Time to make the hot chocolate.
Follow the directions on the bottle or container. Make sure you make enough to fill your mug. Also, I made my hot chocolate with milk, not water.
Before it comes to a boil, take it off the heat and pour the hot chocolate into the mug to join the alcohol. (F)

Let me explain myself. We have a LIST of these people – particularly in the top. Dozens. And that’s just FBI. I will bet there is a CIA list, too. So finding them is – to a large extent – DONE.
Maybe not the more stealthy communist embeds that are shadowing in with the FIB embeds. THEY will be hard to find.
But FIRING every single one of them is going to need CAUSE, and IMO these people are very skilled at evading cause. If they’re fired without cause, then the lawsuits will build up, and DOJ will back them – because selective justice is their whole gig.
Elon made some virtue signal tweets toward these non-Baker FBI embeds, early on. I’m not sure how pro-FBI he remains – probably much less so. But until I hear about more FIBs getting the cardboard box, I’m going to assume he can’t get rid of them easily.

Perhaps I am wrong, but in my experience, commercial jobs are “at will” so I can quit and they can fire me without notice. It’s govie and union jobs where firing an employee can be like digging out all of an embedded tick.

The IRS is telling Venmo that they have to 1099 people if paid more than $600 in a calendar year, to ensure that US individuals have to report Venmo income on their tax returns.
This is an extension of what businesses already have to do. If Cooth, Inc. pays an individual to maintain plants at Cooth, Inc.’s headquarters, then a 1099 would have to be issued to the plant service if more than $600 were paid — it’s been like that for years. The exceptions are generally (a) if products were purchased instead of services, or (b) the recipient is a corporation.
The IRS is a criminal organization. Hopefully Venmo tells IRS to stick it.
It’s not a huge stretch from a practice that goes back to the early ’90’s.
I remember when the 1099-MISC implementation fiasco went through — it’s based on when the payments were made instead of when the invoices were dated, so you have to run it out of your accounts payable system based on when A/P were relieved by payments. I had to write a little program to extract the information from the raw A/P transaction data file.
The news articles implying that it has never been done before are just wrong. Then, again, none of their authors are old enough to have seen the 90s.
While I applaud Rand Paul’s humor and showmanship, in the end he is mish-moshing several different concepts together and causing confusion in the public’s mind.

I was walking around on my own property, through a grove of Norwegian Pines, just as this storm started..the last time to be outside for awhile, so I wanted to go out in it before it got bad, if you don’t mind.

We’ve been keeping watch on “our” wild animals. They’re doing OK. We spotted our most familiar squirrels and rabbits, and they’re doing OK. Hopefully they make it through the cold snap. The coyotes really take advantage of the tracking weather.

We’ve created a lot of cover for animals on our property. They will have plenty of shelter.
Sadly, one of the best areas near us was an overgrown fenceline near a school. FILLED with animals. For some reason, it all got cut back, and an enormous number of critters were out of a home! Thankfully, they’ve had weeks to resettle.
I don’t mind how you enjoy your new home, I just fret that your your winter-survival chops may have atrophied over those three decades. What’s going on appears to be hazardous even to those well-adapted who are at the top of their game — and the thought of you lost in a white-out, or falling, and ending up as a smiley-cicle is worrying.
Be safe. Stay warm. Be conservative in the unfamiliar.
Something I’ve had to learn is to avoid doing anything outside without enough clothes either on me, or in the vehicle, that if something goes terribly wrong, I will stay warm enough for long enough that I will get out of the bad situation.
Running out to do something quickly and slipping to an injury can be deadly when it’s this cold outside.

OK looking at MSN forecast for our area, 2-7 inches of snow & wind gusts to 50 mph & wind chill to -20, so basically a winter storm…
Hubby’s nervous for his first truck driving in wintery conditions today. Prayers would be appreciated!

My old roommate, from Riverside, used to brag how the ocean & surfing & mountains & skiing were both about an hour away from her home. Well that was California in the ’80s when there was still some degree of freedom allowed 🙂

The nearby ski area gets a shitload of snow in the winter.
Probably the scariest pass in Colorado is Independence pass between Aspen and Leadville. The west side is often unstriped because it’s slightly narrower than two lanes without shoulders really ought to be, and the dropoff is steep. Let’s just say it’s a cure-all for constipation. (Oh, and they don’t even bother trying to keep that road open in winter.)
I understand that this is the “new, revised” Wolf Creek Pass — and the old one was quite the thrill.
Nope. The new, revised one is four lanes. It doesn’t relieve the steepness but at least you have more margin for error on the curves.
Unless there’s a much older version, but that would predate the song. My first experience with the pass is early 1980s, and it was a two laner. The song is from the mid 70s.
I’d almost rather have this for my commute than what I do have, honestly…a congested two lane highway where there’s always some fucking asshole who wants to drive in at 55 MPH and no way to get around him because passing zones are few and there’s too much oncoming traffic anyway.

October 13, 2006: ice storm in Buffalo. The only such phenomenon in my life.
The tree branches breaking and falling constantly sounded like a musket battle.
Power out for 9 days in my sector. Went to a friend to shower, and lived in the candle light.
No big deal, actually. We knew what happened, and we knew it would end.
What I remember particularly were the repairmen working the damaged infrastructure street by street,
I went out to thank them. They were from NYC.
We talked and laughed for a few minutes, and they expressed their astonishment at all the people thanking them personally, and asking if there was anything they wanted. They said it was completely unexpected and completely LOVED.
Very cool!
It’s funny in a way, what happened here. We’d get a blizzard and lose power because a pole somewhere would snap.
Eventually we stopped having the outages–the storms had weeded out all of the weak poles.

I thought this was very interesting. The first part of her story is very much like mine – the feelings. Also some of the aftereffects. I haven’t really talked about all those effects, but some of what she’s saying is exactly what I felt.
I didn’t get to the “seeing a light” part, but the moment of letting go and then later the seeing things differently part, that’s very much the same.

A less than immediate life threatening situation – but similar response – is what has happened with our grandson when we submitted his life to God’s control.
I agree it is hard to explain. But I understand. In our case it was being willing to submit him as a child to the Lord for whatever is His will – good or bad. After that happened every single step has fallen into place even better than we had ever hoped. We have peace.
More happened just this week as grandson recovered from a really bad case of the flu that lasted for nearly 2 weeks. I will do a Heads Up in the future about him down the road as more health stuff is handled. For now I will just say we have our boy back – the happy, joking, inquisitive, friendly, charismatic kid that makes the world a brighter place to live for everybody who knows him – is back.
He is eating us out of house and home. That has never happened in his entire life. We are all ecstatic. God is so good!

Yes – when we give it up to God, God answers. We just have to listen. It can be as small as a momentary decision about “what next”, to the decision to let go of life itself.
It’s very strange, but I choose to accept it and praise it. And I even try to explain it, although I’m not sure I trust any explanation to be as right as the simple observation that it happened to me and others.
Very, very powerful. Such an articulate woman.
God gave her the central message. And she got it ultimately: faith, not works. She may not have been “theologically” perfect. The love she felt she lacked – – the works – – are a reflection and necessary but imperfect part of faith. That is NOT a criticism. That is human.
My brother and I, along with others, went kayaking on the San Juan river. The experience was completely new.
The San Juan had the lowest level rapid (one?) which came several days after we began the trip on the river. For beginners.
Before we hit the rapid, the leader had us rig our kayaks with rope which outlined the top of the outside of the kayak. He said the rope was a safety measure.
The approach to the rapid was hidden behind a small peninsula type jutting, but the sound was huge, like the sound of a plane taking off.
Going around the bend of the jutting, there was barely room to face the rapid. The imminent rapid consisted of two eight or ten feet walls of water, separated by a very small (6-8′) trough. How this frightening spectacle could be considered easy or beginning is something I cannot believe, even now.
I had been told to “power through” the rapid, also (IMO, in retrospect) a fantasy.
I fell out of the kayak, and in the swift, very cold water I felt helpless. I tried to get back on twice, and could not. I slipped off with no hold on the kayak.
That was the moment my death seemed certain. And I did not care.
I tried a third time and got on top of the kayak.
When the river slowed down around another, larger bend, I was able to get on the bank where the others were waiting.
I walked a hundred feet away, sat on a stone, and sobbed out of control.
What it all meant I do not know, other than the conviction that when I was about to die, I felt that death was inevitable, and this was my moment of death.
This was before I was a Christian, which I am not sure would have made any difference.
I’m absolutely certain that moment had some impact on you beyond words, which led you precisely to here and now, where God has more plans for you!
Of course God has to protect someone for whom he has future plans to use. Current spiritual status is irrelevant, as shown by Saul [soon to be Paul] on the road to Damascus.
That is how I regard the experience now. The third, successful, attempt to get on top of the kayak seemed to me, at the time, totally futile. I was absolutely exhausted from the first two attempts, and I almost “decided” to just let go entirely, but I see now God did have other plans for me.
Getting on top of the unstable kayak even then seemed “miraculous,” although I did not think of it as a miracle, just as something extraordinarily unlikely, like finding a needle in a haystack. Now I regard it as a miracle.
And now I see (I think) what God had in store for me, and those circumstances are beautifully ironic, like being inside a wonderful story, one where my earlier life and my later life are mirror images, with some essential details being so striking, people would think the author took too much literary license in writing the story. But they are true, and they are “real” in the way God intends us to look at reality.

The power came back on about 2 hours ago. The interior of the house had cooled down to 64 degrees and Yours Truly was suiting up to bring in wood and get the fireplace going when the lights came on.
Raleigh-Durham area still has over 30,000 without power.
Winds have gone down but still gusting.
Wind chill by 4AM is forecast to be 4 above zero.
I put my little Yorkie into his “doggie sweater” for a few hours before the power came back on. Never saw so many “dirty looks” from a dog in my entire life as while he was wearing that sweater. Took it off him when the house warmed back up and he did “zoomies” for about 10 minutes, lol. The “dirty looks” stopped, too.
Fingers crossed that the power stays on during the night, it’s still supposed to be rather windy.

Parag Agrawal, the former CEO of Twitter, has been arrested for possession of child pornography after a tip off from Elon Musk.
The executive was arrested at his home in California by the FBI. His lawyer has stated to the Vancouver Times that he plans on pleading not guilty. He is expected to be released on bail.

However, we differ on one point. He keeps talking about the two operating corporations – Dem and GOP – and their goals. But they are operating companies owned by one holding company – the NWO cabal. So when you replace cogs in either operating company you are not getting the effect you want no matter the replacement.
PDT is trying to orchestrate a hostile takeover of one. But the takeover has to be in ownership of the corporation – the GOP operating company. So the enemy is not within the corporation, it is within the holding company that owns and directs it.
There has to be funerals, wealth take over, power stripped, prison time, etc. of enough owners of the holding company to effect the hostile take over of one of their operating company corporations – the GOP in this case. If that cannot happen, a third major corporation needs to start up that is well capitalized and led that can take market share from the other two quickly. Rightly or wrongly, PDT made that choice a couple of years ago. With either choice it will need to be done as SD discusses above as well as I suggest in the BIMD series. It has to be done that way for the change to be more permanent, not a one or two term cycle that can flip with more stolen elections.

The other option ends up being a Ross Perot Constitution party: A third party that doesn’t have the clout to fight against not one but TWO well-heeled major parties.
If Trump FAILS in the hostile takeover of the GOP he will have weakened it enough to strip its authority and fight against MAGA party.
While I could be wrong, I cannot imagine a GOPe Romney McDaniel party sustaining a floor fight against MAGA.
That leaves the GOPe with only one option: Dirty Tricks. Which so far have backfired.

She said that Quercetin can interfere with the uptake of iodine which is needed for proper thyroid function. So for those of you constantly supplementing with this over covid concerns a heads up. I personally am not a fan of constant supplementation but cycling them in. For this very reason. What are the side effects?

Yes, she mentioned this the other day, that she had also read that quercetin interfered with thyroid function. I’m hypothyroid, though, and haven’t noticed any ill effects from taking it, but I’ve decided to put it back into the cabinet until I really need it. In the meantime, I’ll take some periodic ivermectin over the winter months while viruses are running rampant.
