The funny thing about the Catholic Church is that once the boomers retire from active ministry, it’s going to go back traditional. I sang for a wedding between Christmas and New Year’s. The groom is a former seminarian, so he knows a lot of priests. There were ten on the altar that morning. Two were over the age of 40, and one of the young guys is a PHENOMINAL speaker. We got to the song to the Virgin, and this couple picked out the Christmas season (this was between Christmas and New Year’s) Mary chant that is done in a few parishes here with younger pastors. The priests all sang it with me from memory.
It’s only a matter of time. I can’t speak to our Christian brethren and their situations, but liturgy, at least, in the Catholic Church is on its way to change. Now, if they would just do something about adult catechesis. Twice in the last week, I’ve heard priests complain about how bad it is. I agree. I learned most of what I know on my own largely to defend the teachings.

County Commissioner Rusty Bell tried to stop the library reforms against obscene children’s books by attacking MassResistance. It didn’t work!
This is a great example of good public officials not being intimidated by the vicious and dishonest tactics of the Left. Happily, this kind of civic courage is spreading!
Liberals (and their allies in the media) are angered by the successes of local MassResistance parents. A common leftist counter-tactic is to complain that the conservative local officials who do the right thing are “connected” to (or “controlled” by) MassResistance. They hope the officials will become intimidated, back down, and lose their zeal for reform.
But in Wyoming, the officials stood their ground – and the barrage of hateful attacks fizzled out!

Final thoughts
Thanks to some brave people, the work to clean up the library in Campbell County will continue. But there are some lessons learned about what happened here.
First of all, the Rusty Bell incident should wake everyone up (again) that pro-LGBT leftists run for office as Republicans in “red” states. (This is in addition to the problems with the RINO GOP establishment everywhere.)
Second, the vicious tactics and outright lies that Bell employed here are the rule, not the exception, of how the Left works. This is what they do everywhere.
Third, local LGBT activists are used to bullying everyone. But when parents stand up to them, they tend to shrink fairly quickly. Like all bullies, they’re basically cowards.
And finally, this is an example of how a local team of activists keeping up the pressure helps elected officials stay the course. It is absolutely necessary that good people do what these solid public officials and their supporters in Wyoming MassResistance did: Stand up and unconditionally fight back! Unfortunately, most conservatives don’t do that now. But MassResistance is out to change things across the country!

Yeah we’re trying to sort out the Tractor Supply feed mess. Some in my family who have experience in this area aren’t convinced that’s the culprit – but their experience is that the large industrial hatcheries don’t buy feed like this. They mix their own blend AND they test it, because they want maximum egg production. I think that us amateur chicken keepers need to look a lot more closely at what we’re doing with feed and not assume the “kit” stuff these chain stores can be trusted. Tractor Supply, face it, isn’t a real farm store. At least not around here as far as I’m concerned. It’s fine for hobbyists and amateur 4H-grade projects but that’s about it.

Same thing with serrapeptase. It depends on dosage. You can have low dosage for longer periods. Look up the max safe dosage. There’s usually a warning for the high end.
I’m in my 3rd year of Serrapeptase. I initially took 120spu daily (the max was 240) for around 6-8 months, then went down to 80, then 40, then every other day, then stopped for about 6 mos. Now I’m back to 120 daily. Will probably do for a month, then every other day and re-assess when this bottle is empty. Maybe 40 2-3x/wk? In addition to getting rid of excess fibrin, it really helps my sinuses. The first 2 years I figure it removed a lifetime of excess fibrin build up, the evidence being pain and problems from prior surgical scar tissue being eliminated. I stopped it out of precaution. Back on it for sinus help and to dissolve any fibrin that may have built up during the 6mo hiatus. Maintenance.
Thanks. Looked through many web articles and didn’t find anything on maximum doses. Found that 2000 FU = 100mg. One said to take 100mg twice daily 12 hrs apart, because it takes 12-13 hrs to reach max saturation in the blood. Another said 100mg daily. None really suggested tapering the dose after any particular length of time.
I’m seeing 3yrs is safe for natto. 100mg 2x/day. I think it also depends on your goal and if you see intended results. Then decide if you want maintenance.
That wasn’t me. But I do “cycle” some of my supplements. So natto for a month, then NAC for a month, and so on.
That’s because so many of them act as blood thinners. So anything on the blood thinner list I try not to double up on too much. Too much of a good thing.

I grew those at the church. I’d wear myself out working in the flowerbeds and go to the garden and pull kale, chard, and yummy sweet crunchy snow peas off the plants for snacks. They’d recharge me and I’d go back for hours in the flowerbeds. The snow peas were for my personal consumption as there never were enough to distribute to the congregation. 😂 I was juicing back then, had a steady stream of fresh produce to use. Didn’t see a problem with it since I was doing all the work! 12 raised beds of summer/winter veggies produces a lot of food. I kept the Pastors and leaders supplied, and gave away all the rest. it worked out well.

I DO NOT eat fast food, haven’t for decades. I rarely eat out. Only get meat/fish/veggie entrees at certain places where I know ingredients are good and meal doesn’t make me feel like crap. Other than that, cook at home from fresh or frozen single whole foods. Not a fan of many cans either. Season with raw spices, no added preservative crap. I have a MAJOR Sugar problem, can’t have a drop or it makes me big time sick with the potential to pass out (in public) if I don’t have immediate access to options (always in my purse) to thwart or counteract a major insulin spike/low blood sugar meltdown. Been reading labels since I was 17yrs old. They keep coming up with different names for sugar.
For example I can buy something with all natural ingredients like cheddar or jalepeno chips only to discover they use maltodextrin in the seasonings. Over the years I’ve learned that maltodextrin triggers my blood sugar episodes EVERY single time.
ALSO know that ingredients have to be a certain amount, usually 1 gram, before they’re required to be listed in the numbers. Same example above, Label will say zero sugar, but have maltodextrin in the ingredients. Well, maltodextrin is a form of sugar, but the quantity is low enough that it isn’t required by law to be included in the stats. For me it doesn’t matter the amount, it’s about the ingredient, period.

A friend of a relative became ill on a cruise and was transported to the hospital. Determined that she had some sort of heart episode that caused her BP to drop, enzymes and blood sugars to rise, and fluid to build up in her lungs.

My son-in-law developed TYPE 1 diabetes at 38 years old! That is UNHEARD of, ever.

As the population of Southern states boomed last year, Americans chose to move to Texas more than any other state.
A year-end review from the U.S. Census Bureau noted that the South “was the fastest-growing and largest-gaining region last year, increasing by 1.1%, or 1,379,163.”
Domestic migration largely came from the Northwest and Midwest, which saw respective decreases of 218,851 and 48,910 people.
Of all states in the South, however, the Lone Star shone the brightest, with an increase of 470,708 people. This was enough to make Texas just the second state to count more than 30 million residents — with California being the other.
For its part, California saw 343,230 people leave in 2022. Other states in decline included New York, with a loss of 180,341, and Illinois, which decreased by 141,656.
The flight to Texas comes as the state enjoys historic economic success, with the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) recently announcing 14 consecutive months of job growth.

We, in America, have been awaiting a political messiah, a Moses if you will, to lead us to a new place. I think we have thought that, having fought for independence and having established the greatest country on earth, we could rely on our Constitution and laws to help us preserve it if we were vigilant to vote and be politically aware and active.
I’m not sure if people have been waiting for one person to rescue us, but I think some have felt bound by our rule of law and have hoped that some group within our system would implement a remedy by seeing that justice was done.
Voting people out is a problem since elections are being stolen. Entrenched government positions need to be eliminated or made temporary. Some things could be changed if the right person (Trump) were in the WH, but he can’t do it alone. People are working diligently to expose and stop election fraud, expose government collusion with social media, etc. So things are being done. The question I see is, At what point do we decide those things are not going to be effective enough?
As pg alluded to there are no rules for the rulemakers. In such a case ordinary civil engagements are weak and ineffective. Since 1913, a particularly significant watershed year, we have been paddling upstream against a strong current. We are no longer holding our position, we are losing ground.

My husband is very slim 32″ waist and has type 2 diabetics. I think there is more that contributes to health problems. Confession I look 10 15 years younger do not have total white hair this is all genes. My mother was like that and my grandmother also not to much wrinkles. They were healthy until way up in their eighties. My grandmother walked every day 2 miles rain snow did not matter.
My daughter looks 35 and she is 54.
Genes plus diet I think contribute but it is not all. My husband’s mother aged fast and looked 10 years older beginning mid 50. She had a hard life and did not find find much peace and happiness in life. She also had all kind of health problems worse as she hit 70. State of mind is also important of course also watching portions of food and how healthy it is. Snacking is a bad habit.

I was raised with relatives not to kiss on the mouth and nither friends . I was chocked when I saw people kissing their kids on the mouth. There were specific boundaries when I grew up no one ever did those things unless a husband or a significant other.

Word first broke on the Twitter last night about a board coup inside the Project Veritas organization led by Matt Tyrmand, a rabid advocate for Ron DeSantis and part of the 2024 influence operation.
According to the leaked information, Matt Tyrmand organized a six-hour confrontation session against Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe, culminating in a decision to put O’Keefe on leave.
“The board held a six-and-a-half-hour struggle session vs James where they subjected him to constant derision and insults. At the insistence of Tyrmand, O’Hara, and Hinckley; “about ten employees aired their grievances about James, which essentially boiled down to him being a tough boss to work for. Considering the recent explosive undercover work against Pfizer, it is not out of the question, heck, it might be likely – that the Big Republican Club is at work against O’Keefe.
Remember, big corporate donors like the Koch Donor Trust are attached to Project Veritas and simultaneously attached to Ron DeSantis. This could be where DeSantis operative Matt Tyrmand connects the issues between Big donors (Koch), Big Pharma (Pfizer) and Big Club (DeSantis) motives.
However, Occam’s Razor could also apply in that an untrustworthy, backstabbing dirtbag and ankle biter like Matt Tyrmand just happens to find a natural ideological alignment with Team DeSantis.

It would not surprise me at all if RINOs were colluding with Big Pharma and no telling who else to take PV down.
It will be interesting to see what O’Keefe does. I would support him wherever he goes, but not remnants of PV without him.

I watched this really good movie yesterday. It’s called “Damian of Molokai.”
It was a true story about when the British occupied Hawaii in the early 1800s, and there was a leprosy outbreak there. They sent all the lepers to the island of Molokai. They separated them from their families, gave them very few supplies, no hospital, not even beds.
But this one priest, Damian, volunteered to go there and stayed. Until he contracted leprosy and died of it many years later.
One leper on the island was a Brit, played by Peter O’toole. He told Damian not to touch him, but Damian said “I knew a guy who touched lepers.” He was pretty funny.
What made the film so powerful for me was how many parallels there were to what happened in the last three years. Father Damian was told over and over “don’t touch anyone” on Molokai. The powerful just abandoned people to their fate with terrible medical care. Families were torn apart.
It was very hard but rewarding to watch. There is nothing new under the sun, I guess.
