I started to write about the precedents for the Trump indictment and related topics in the recent criminalization of political disagreement, but I couldn’t summon up the energy to keep going. I was boring myself, and I kept stopping. It took a couple of days, but I figured it out: I realized that I was treating a pseudo-event as an event.
The thing that finally got me over the cognitive hump was Jacob Siegel’s massive article on the disinformation hoax, which you have no choice but to read. I printed it out and read it on paper, and I suggest you do the same. He’s describing, in depth and with considerable precision, an information technocracy organized around a principle now taken as a given by the governing class: “You cannot be trusted with your own mind.” There’s much more to say about it, but I’m mostly not going to say it. Siegel said it, and you should go see what he said. It’s important, and will show up in political discussions for a long time.

The swimmer Riley Gaines, a former competitor with a transgendered college athlete, spoke at San Francisco State University this week, and she was attacked — punched, twice, by a “trans woman,” which means she was punched by a man. Police were present. No arrests were made.
Now, generally speaking, men who beat women are, let’s put this gently, disfavored. They’re not at the top of the societal pyramid. But the brave trans woman who fought for tolerance by tuning up Riley Gaines with a couple of well-placed fists, well. That poor trans woman was a hero and a victim, a bit like the seventh victim of the school shooting in Tennessee, the brave transgendered shooter.
Look around: Transgendered identity is becoming a license for sociopathy, a catch basin for people who like hurting people and being cruel. I can’t embed tweets, right now, because Twitter and Substack are apparently having beef, but click on this link and watch a single minute of videotaped behavior. Under the normal social rules, this is aggressive and demeaning behavior; for “trans women,” it’s brave and strong. You get to scream abuse in another human being’s face and have the abuse coded as kindness and decency. We had a very similar historical moment recently in which brave, caring men could follow women around in public and scream PUT ON A FUCKING MASK YOU BITCH, because of their kindness and wanting everyone to be safe. It feels so good to call a woman demeaning names, and to scream at her and to hit her. You know, to make the world a better place.

I do hats, mostly. I give my cousins a year’s worth, which is usually five including a pumpkin, a Christmas themed, and a sunhat, and then a cozy if the baby is due in the fall. This one is due in July, so she’s getting a basket for stuff on the dresser or changing table.
You are ambitious! Blankets are easier.

She is 55 now I knitted daughter a pair of socks she loves them tells anyone who listens ” that her mom made them and only for her”.

I personally think that this study, probably similar to another one that I read about which questioned “long COVID”, is actually telling us that the definition of “long COVID” is too broad to be useful. Not only that, but IMO spike protein disease from the vaccines is likely to explain the very similar response in the “uninfected”.
I think it’s obvious by inspection that COVID, and especially severe COVID, has long-lasting effects. However, “long COVID” was largely a leftist construction, used to inflate the COVID boogeyman for greater FEAR, and was perfectly general for that reason. In many ways, the “long COVID diagnosis” was kept very open, just like the “TRANS diagnosis” in teens is kept very open, so that every potential recruit can be “definitely” diagnosed as a member of the new grievance class.
Bottom line – long COVID was inflated for numbers, just like acute COVID was inflated for numbers, using flu, PCR false positives, etc.
While I surely do not know, I assumed;
“Long Covid” yammering from government AND health officials, was to push Covid Injections/Boosters AND Paxlovid.

However, the EUA for the United States version of the “vaccine”, called “Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine” was kept in place. The FDA used very careful legalese to state that these two “vaccines” were medically identical BUT legally separate items.
Here’s the real skinny on the “ending the pandemic emergency” — including the fact that the FDA can keep existing EUA’s on any COVID-19 “vaccine”, or create a new EUA, or “extend” any existing EUA:

The problem is, however, that COMIRNATY isn’t really available in the United States. That’s why the “Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine” is used here.
This is to keep Pfizer-BioNTech shielded from any liability regarding this “vaccine.”
A person in the United States would have to prove beyond doubt that he/she was injected with COMIRNATY in order to file a claim against Pfizer-BioNTech if any “vaccine”-induced or “vaccine”-related adverse event occurs to him/her.
The only COVID-19 “vaccine” that is “fully approved” for use in the United States is the Moderna mRNA-1273 “vaccine” (SPIKEVAX.)

Like Trader Joe’s, have never shopped Whole Foods.
We occasionally shopped Trader Joe’s (For the chocolate bars) but never whole foods. Have not set foot in Trader Joe’s since Covid Idiocy.
I’ve never been impressed with Trader Joe’s or Aldi, frankly. We went local for dairy, and when it isn’t available, the local chains do carry Kerrygold for butter.
We only bought the chocolate and the ginger white tea. I liked the ginger white for making ice tea for summer.
It is hard to find white tea unless you order online.
I wish I could afford that butter.
I have given up on buying name brand stuff. I can not afford it!
Many non-brand items are the same as the name brand. Someone makes it and applies the appropriate label.
Usually non-brand is made by the big name brand, in the same facility. Like standards. Big name snobs crack me up.
Some non brand name items are better I found.
What we buy is mostly on outer isle of the store and never packaged foods. On cheeses and greek yougurd and battle milk eggs butter we are fussy.
Most meats organic grass fed we get shipped same with sea food. When one cuts out all the other foods from the store then it is not that expensive. At least I find it. If I was on my own I would not spend that much my husband often buys more than we need.

I generally have no problem with online banking. However, per their 12/31/22 financial statement on the FDIC website they only appear to be $25 million in assets with $12.5 million or so in capital with 34 employees. I realized they have a few more months of operations since then and it has likely changed. Will observe from the sidelines and wish them well for now.

Yours Truly is back from today’s round of medical encounters. This one was at the Duke Health System neurological center.
First, one guesses that the latest incidents of active shooters on the loose caused the Duke Health admins to make some changes regarding entering their facilities. Now there are TSA-type electronic walk-through “corral posts.” There are security guards with electric wands to remotely “pat down” people when they enter. The security guards then very politely but firmly state that they need to go through handbags, backpacks, and so forth. All this is to apparently prevent anybody from entering who might have things like guns, knives, Tasers, etc.
Then, after going through this “welcoming ceremony”, it’s time to walk the endless corridors of the (huge) clinic building to find the neurological center. Yours Truly noticed that EVERY CHAIR AND BENCH that had formerly been placed along these corridors had been removed, except for right outside each individual clinic entrance.
(However, I did also notice that the large, garbage-bag-filled trash dumpsters that also had graced the corridors outside various clinics were still apparently the “mode of choice” for the custodial staff to do.)
The MD neurologist was a young man of about perhaps 36 years old. He put Yours Truly through a barrage of neuro tests (“spell the word ‘world’ frontwards and backwards” was one of them.) A walking the hallway test was another one. He asked many questions related to my health. And so on.
The upshot is that Yours Truly will need to have an MRI of the brain and upper spine. This is to check the brain for any lingering damage from the concussion + mild TBI that Yours Truly suffered 2 1/2 years ago. There is also suspicion that some spinal compression from cartilage drying out between bones in the spinal column may be occurring. The neurologist also ordered physical therapy since my walking was a little off — this will be performed by PT’s who are trained in post-TBI physical therapy.
It is interesting to note that the neurologist believes there may be some interaction / involvement between the lingering TBI effects and the panic disorder that Yours Truly is being treated for. Apparently, panic disorder can potentially aggravate some types of TBI effects (balance issues, walking, dizziness, etc.)
Yours Truly is determined to beat whatever is going on and get back to complete and radiant health of body, mind, and spirit. You Betcha. I mean, my grandmother’s people survived the Potato Famine in Ireland and I have relatives who fought and were killed in the 1916 Easter Uprising in Dublin. I’m not going to let TBI issues and panic disorder get me.

Well, she is definitely a representation of a certain phenotype. It’s become common in both men and women. Over-sized jaw, prominent teeth, what my Dad would have called “long-headed,” with thick lips and large eyes.
I don’t know if it’s genetics causing it, or environmental factors, but this “look” has become prominent over the last couple of decades.
I’m calling it DOS-EQUIS – a real gal.

Leaks are sexy thing. Still thinks the leaks are a covert policy with the primary aim of bringing on the Restrict Act. Will assume this part of the leaks are something akin to a trial balloon (What will Russia do? What will Allies do? What will Congress do? What will the Public Say?)
If the public accepts this, the next call will be to protect the forces on the ground. Besides escalating the war effort the additional part of that will be the Restrict Act.
Real or not, the leaks amount to Jack. All designed or will be used to make “The Restrict Act” or it’s soon to be born cousin seem necessary.
Create the problem. Offer the Solution.
Leaks came with in a week of 11 RINO’s being exposed supporting “The Restrict Act”. Ms. Lindsey, “I don’t know anything about that…Oh that, let me get back with you… my staffers don’t you know”. Well this is them getting back to you.
Stories start with one leak, then two, and “Oh there’s hundreds of documents out there…we can’t stop it! Oh my secrets!”
Stories all mention “4 Chan, Discord, Twitter, Mine Craft” Twitter guy says… “Well once I realized what I posted I quickly deleted it, but it was too late! Evil Twitter quickly spread it”.
Doesn’t matter if it’s white hats or not, it will be taken advantage of. White hats could of done this long ago, but only do it now? It will be taken advantage of to crack down on access to free press. How long before they give up on finding the leaker/s and start to focus on the media that is spreading the largely available else where information.
