Paper ballots. Count them. Lots a countries do this with great success.
At some point tree huggers can recycle the ballots.
It’s simple, seriously.
Every county gets sent a serialized group of ballots. BUT, that group is shuffled before use, so they are in random order. They are then placed into unmarked envelopes. These envelopes would be placed into different envelopes if they are mailed, or handed to voters at the polls on election day.
The ballots are utilized, and mailed in or placed anonymously in voting boxes either early or on voting day, once again in an unmarked envelope which is provided
They are then un-shuffled, and re-serialized for counting.
Voila.
I know this sounds like a lot of paper, but my mail votes in Montana have almost as many pieces as I just described, already.
When people vote (in-person only) they do it on a very limited computer. At the end of the voting process for each voter, the machine impact-prints their votes on a carbonless spool of paper — just like at a store. They tear-off the original and take it home, while the copy is wound up inside the machine. Each “vote receipt” has a serial number that matches it to a unique vote on the machine spool.
The votes of that particular machine can be audited to the copies on the spool.
If you take home your original “vote receipt” and punch it in online, you can win $1M if your vote is missing against the machine’s record of your vote, or altered in any way.

The problem with term limits is that it’s hard to get good people elected, and once they’re there, they need time to make a difference. Of course the down side is that you get people “serving” for 50 years.
The third problem is far bigger than the first two.

Yet, we continue to have a Constitutional problem because we have term limits on the Executive Branch dominioned over that branch by the legislative branch but not hampered on the other two legislative and judicial branches.
Hmmm. No equal branches as far as I can see.
Hard to get good people elected. Can’t do any worse than the shit bags we have these days.
I’ll take my chances with term limits.

The 22nd amendment, I believe, is unconstitutional. The Congress put term limits on the Executive Branch, which IMHO has no power to limit another branch. Constitutional amendment, yes, but where is the constitutionality of that?
The constitution is what it says it is.
They could pass, and get ratified, an amendment making the US a theocracy ruled over by the anti-pope. And, provided they actually do ratify it, THAT would be Constitutional. (Mind you that won’t happen, but if it did, *that* would *be* the constitution.)
Now what that wouldn’t be, and the 22nd amendment isnt, is in accordance with the principles the Framers had when they wrote the thing. But those principles are not themselves stated *in the constitution*, certainly not in a way that says “oh and if some bonehead passes an amendment that contradicts this the amendment is null and void.”
As long as the amendment process was followed, *any* amendment is constitutional *by definition* no matter how awful it is.
How about «Bill Limits» — any bill can not be more than 150 pages or so. None of these 5 kilo-page or larger things that no-one can read and comprehend in a reasonable time.
Of course, if this is done than all bills will be written in APL.

Remove the financial rewards of cronyism and corruption. It starts with political parties, lobbyists (bribers), and law enforcers being in bed with one another. Political parties are the bane of our existence in America. They have become cartels acting in collusion with one another. With the quick, easy, free flow of information and a removal of censorship; there is zero need for political parties. Candidates and elected officials can easily be tracked on their positions and votes.
I could care less if the apparatus knows how I vote if criminals are removed from the process. My justification for my votes are mine alone, I stand by them. It is the criminal use and unauthorized changing of same that are the issues. Criminals in charge of the apparatus are the problem. The root of that problem is that government is in bed with enemies of America and criminal elements within. Apparently there are no law enforcers with integrity left to defend the truth and law. Follow the money and you will find confirmation of same.
Which is THE problem. How do you kill the beast? Knowing what to do after it is dead is the easy part.

Gone are the days when one had no fear riding the Sub. We my husband and I rode the Sub often midnight after a Broadway show. Never a problem.

But the kids aren’t comfortable, they’re anything but comfortable. They’re frustrated out of their minds, and disgusted with the so-called adults who are allowing all of this crap to happen to them, and who won’t do anything to stop it.
And unlike their parents, they are young and resilient, they have their friends and teammates for support, and they don’t really have anything to lose.
They could get kicked off the team by the school, but you deal with that beforehand, i.e., make a pact that if one or more members are kicked off the team, everyone else walks too.
Then the school has no ‘team’, which becomes an embarrassing reminder to the entire community, every time there should be a game.
And suddenly the coach has no JOB. Which is exactly what he or she deserves for allowing this perversity to corrupt the character and morals of the young people the coach is responsible for molding.
And the team members become heroes to their whole school — because they didn’t just take it, they DID something about it, because it was the right thing to do, and it was a price they were willing to pay.
They’re the athletes. Set the example for all the cowardly adults around them.
Show them up.
Stare them down in class, reminding the adults every day how small and weak the adults are, and how the students are not like them, and never want to be like them.
That was normal when we were kids.

It might have been strategic by someone. If so, there are multiple possibilities with that. They could have hired the woman behind the ad to keep up with their social credit score, and it went too far. Was she in cahoots with someone when hired, and they planned this disaster? Or someone in corporate sabotaged the company for any number of reasons?
My issue has been that we can’t state definitively that the reason was to destroy it for the sake of taking down an iconic American company so a foreign company could dominate that market. There could be many reasons, some of which were stated in the article, for sabotaging Bud Light.
If someone planned this, they knew that Bud Light drinkers would not want to touch a can that reminded people of Dylan Mulvaney or the trans movement. People didn’t have to be prompted to boycott. They wanted no part of what Bud Light came to represent.
The bottom line, IMO, is that we have to take a stand against any and all destructive, deviant infiltration of our society. The chips will fall where they may. The responsibility lies with Anheuser-Busch. If our boycott(s) cause something to happen that globalists wanted, at least temporarily, so be it. You don’t win by always playing the “long game” where you theorize about what they’re doing and how they’re manipulating you, while things burn down. You fight the current battle.
I consider it meaningful that they didn’t publicly can the advertising executive behind this. One would think, at her level, that losing a single billion dollars for one month would be reason enough….and, yet, the losses continue to metastasize while she is hidden.

2) More than a few people believe USA will not fall ‘down’ but will fall ‘apart’ … some discussion late last night, particularly from a Texan who is privvy to Texas Legislators’ ongoing discussion of secession.
I’m going to post one comment, rather lengthy … but contains some salient points, in my opinion of course …

This would all be completely lawful and as contemplated by the framers of the Constitution. And I don’t think the federal power could muster enough military force to overturn the combined will of that many states.
The states are both a hindrance and a protection. If I have a grievance, because of the two layers of power it’s very difficult for me to access the federal government. But the state government is very much within my reach. Even from being involved in local politics and fighting the city council, I have colleagues who work with state representatives closely. It depends on your grievance and where you have to go to redress it, but the state is very much like a country – as intended from the beginning, the state is the republic.
The USA itself is only a Union of republics. So I may be fearful of the federal government but I’m not fearful of my state government – they may be assholes too, but I can work with them, I can lobby them, I can organize resistance against a policy, etc. By the structure of power, I am accorded greater influence with them as a citizen, and they are closer to us citizens as state reps.
I can get representative government from my state, not the feds. So when the grievances mount – as they did during the Covid transgressions, for example – the states remembered some of their power, and some states protected their people from federal intrusion.
Both the people and the state leaders have noted this. I think that, rather than any kind of direct confrontation between the US people and the federal government, the confrontation would be between the states (on behalf of their people) and the federal government. And I think all this would happen organically because, as I say, these are actually the organic fault lines of the country.”

My posts going back over a year ago on the COS may seem a bit more interesting to some today. Texas is not the only state looking at independence.
Think Soviet Union. Think of the former countries within as actually being states within a union as we have in America. We know what happened to the SU. In the end, Russia benefitted from the SU dissolution as their motherland was sinking into the mud from the weight of failed policies, criminality and failed central government.
Same deal in America today. We are being forced to eat shit sandwiches by federal tyranny that we did not vote to receive. They are using criminal methods to decide and enforce while ignoring the Constitution and law.
Individuals, organizations, communities and nations have life cycles. We either go back to growth and redo this thing through the COS, or, finish dying and have the seeds replanted for totalitarianism or freedom depending on which wins out.
There are not enough enforcers for totalitarianism to win if the federal government as it exists today tanks.
Some Russian guy years ago gave a speech or an article [CRW] where he said the US will break into six discrete sections. He had a prophetic map and arguments to back up each of the fault lines.
I believe it could happen in a similar way. It is part of the design IMO. There appears to be an exit plan baked in.

“But I did everything right, and the system tries to throw me right into a jail. They can’t beat me at the ballot box. So they’re out there trying to take me out by other means.
