It’s its own little weird sub-genre of Prog, IMHO…..but there aren’t any other Prog bands too close to it (although Tangerine Dream has drifted over that-a-ways [but after]).

If I recall correctly, the bulk of what ended up on the album came from the second take. I think Alan Parsons supervised the recording.
I always imagine that they were in a soundstage with mikes and a soundboard, with Clare Torry listening to the recorded band through headphones and improvising, with the band looking on. Observers may have noted that patches of fog seemed to be moving through the walls — until you looked directly at them. Then the fog would be off to the side, in the corner of their eyes.
Parsons says, “OK, good. Got all the levels, the equalization, and the reverb. Take five, do a bathroom break, have some water, we’ll get back here in about ten minutes.”
Fifteen minutes later, about 2:30 in the afternoon, everyone is back in position. Parsons starts the playback tape and the vocal recorder…..
This time, the clouds pull in as soon as the vocal starts, and the lights inside the soundstage seem to dim as Clare’s vocals build in power. The walls and the ceiling fade from view until, suddenly, it is dark and the sky is full of stars. Not the hazy pollution-blurred stars of London, half swallowed by interfering lights, but the steely clean stars of Wilderness.
And still her voice rips across the firmament — calling, moaning, shrieking — while the stars shine bright and brighter still. Slowly, her voice begins to pull back. Inevitably, and gradually, the stars grow more dim and the sense of being in an enclosed space returns. Returning from a dream, light returns to illuminate the walls and ceiling.
When the recording is stopped, confusion reigns. On one side, they’re renaming the piece as “The Great Gig In The Sky” [previous title had been “Tuesday Afternoon”]. On another, people are asking, “what just happened here?” Parsons is trying to set up for another take. Some are looking out the windows. Clare seems drained.
I’m having trouble understanding this, can only presume the surveillance footage is from PDJT’s own security cameras.

I’d venture to say because Trump knew his actions were above board and he was exercising his right to appeal each of NARA’s decisions with in the time allotted for appeal. The tapes were likely part of that process where Trump was demonstrating to NARA that his actions with respect to handling of the records were above board.

I would wager that in the negotiations, some agreement was made about moving the documents, and the agreed actions were being taken. The video was provided, as Para says below, as part of the agreement to show the documents were being rearranged. Then they used it as “evidence.”

Ok, I am prepared for y’all to think I am absolutely crazy. I have never told anyone about this until today.
You all might have seen the video on Twitter yesterday of the woman who freaked out on a plane and actually made them go back to the gate so she could get off, because she said the man behind her “wasn’t real.” And I believed her. Here’s why.
I saw another video today of a person who was on the plane, a few rows back. He said he wasn’t initially paying much attention, but that as the woman grew increasingly frantic, he did. If you watch until the end, he says after she freaked out and went up to the front of the plane, the guy in the green hoody, the “not real” guy, looked around at others on the plane, including him. And when he looked at the guy making the video, he winked. Only he didn’t wink like a blink, but side-to-side. Here’s the TikTok from the guy who saw it. He also said the man NEVER SPOKE a single word, even though the woman who freaked out appeared to be having a full-on conversation with him.
Well, it sounds crazy, but I have a good friend who I trust, who would not lie to me. We had a casual mutual acquaintance who was very strange, very weird, just “not right.” And one day, when I mentioned her to my good friend, she told me she had seen her nictitating membranes blink across her eyes. Seriously. She said she was certain, and that she thought the woman had to be part alien.
I think what the guy in the video saw was not a wink, but that hoody guy had nictitating membranes on his eyes, and he was communicating with the woman who freaked telepathically.
The “aliens” among us are, I believe, actually demons. But that is a different conversation. Suffice it to say, I think what happened to this woman is real.

I saw the video they made of her. Personally did not feel all the comments making fun of her were justified. She seemed quite emphatic, not drunk, but certainly freaked out. Who am I to doubt her veracity.

The end of this video is showing exactly what my friend saw happen to the weird lady we knew.
Did she actually mention the term “shapeshifter”? I never saw that.
I do not think the woman looked drunk. At first I questioned why she would make such a big deal and not quietly investigate or evaluate the situation rather than address the whole plane. Then I heard her words: She says he isn’t real, and then, “And you can sit on this plane and you can die with him or not. I’m not going to.”
So if she was not hallucinating or under the influence, something spooked her so badly that she was afraid the person or entity would cause the plane to crash. She took responsibility for her own safety by getting off the plane and warned the others, knowing they would probably not heed her warning.
The flight logs would tell who that person is. I wonder if he has been interviewed by anyone. I don’t know of any charges that could be made against him, so probably not.
Did she overreact to something? I hope we hear more from her.

I don’t know how to approach whether to believe some ‘thing’ without questioning it, because a ‘thing’ (belief, idea, claim, assertion, etc.) can either withstand scrutiny, or it can’t.
If it can’t, then there is no good reason to believe it. Certainly nothing solid enough to stand on and be unshakeable about.
It’s also easy to fool ourselves, that’s one of the things people do best, so if I can’t explain or defend what I believe, and give an answer to someone else in a coherent way that makes sense, then I don’t really have a good answer for why I believe what I claim to believe, even if I think I do.
So I would ask your friends to explain to me, in a clear, coherent and rational manner, what they believe and why.

No, it is done to protect one’s Bar card, the possession of which is the single thing that enables an attorney to practice. The ethics rules for attorneys are so general that they can be stretched to cover almost any action by an attorney.
If an attorney calls someone a liar, that person can file a Bar grievance on the attorney. This single act (filing) has no downside for the filer and totally upends the entire professional life of the attorney. It complicates every professional relationship an attorney has. Many people do not know that if an attorney is disbarred, he/she cannot work in any law office anywhere in the country. IOW, the attorney is prohibited from being employed as a lowly paralegal (a job that an attorney is obviously overqualified to perform).
A disbarred attorney cannot use (with limited exceptions) any of the knowledge he/she has spent years accumulating.
SD needs to understand the nuances and dangers of being an attorney admitted to practice before he assigns motives to someone’s careful method of speaking.

I insisted that the meeting take place in March because at the time there were rumors that Joe Biden was planning to run for president.
I saw it as my civic duty to alert the government beforehand and give it enough time to probe the issue. I want to be clear. I’m not a Republican. I’m not a Democrat. I have no political motive or agenda.
The DOJ sent to Brussels a delegation of six people, two prosecutors from the Southern District of New York by the names of Daniel Richenthal and Katherine Gaush, and four FBI agents. One of them was Special Agent Joshua Wilson from the Baltimore field office, which also happens to cover the state of Delaware…
…Perhaps the most alarming information I revealed was of a mall within the DOJ who shared classified information with Hunter Biden and his Chinese partners. The information I provided the FBI in March of 2019 was fully corroborated nine months later when the famous laptop belonging to Hunter Biden, which contained all the emails and receipts, was handed to the FBI. And guess who seized the laptop from the computer repair shop? It was Special Agent Joshua Wilson, who was with me in Brussels earlier. In other words, the FBI knew about from me about the Biden CFC deals before they got hold of the laptop, way before they had enough time to investigate the issue, but they didn’t. After Brussels, I never heard back from the DOJ.
