That’s very quaint, but they won’t convince him, don’t even need to.
It doesn’t work like that, not even on the Republi-Con side, but certainly not on the devilrat side.
If the criminals who pull the strings want Joe gone, they’ll just tell him he’s done, and off he goes.
And he’ll go gladly, because he knows if he doesn’t, he ends up at the bottom of a pond, or at Fort Marcy Park with a suicide note stuffed in his shirt and three to the back of the head.
Three to the back of the head? It used to be two.
Must be that damn inflation.
Well, the whole reason for making the murder look like a suicide isn’t to fool anybody, it just gives the crooked justice apparatus a plausible excuse to close the case without an investigation.
But you don’t want to do too good of a job, you don’t want it to really look like a suicide, because that defeats the real purpose.
The purpose is to warn everybody else that you’re next, if you cross the wrong people or don’t do what you’re told.
The problem is that people have become so stupid, they we’re starting to believe that a person could actually shoot themselves twice in the back of the head.
So TCTB had to up it to three.
That won’t last long though.
Soon it will take four shots to the back of the head before most of the public would realize it wasn’t really a suicide.
Pretty soon it will take so many shots you won’t be able to use a revolver anymore, and there won’t be anything left to identify the head.

And there’s the problem.
Who boots them out?
A giant spring-loaded mechanical boot in the Senate chamber, or maybe an ejection platform like the one at the bridge in Monty Python’s Holy Grail?
The first thing people in positions of government power do is surround themselves, at taxpayer expense, with a Praetorian Guard who is loyal only to them.
Sure, the security goon squad takes an oath and pretend like they uphold the law, and most of the People enable the pretending, by pretending not to notice that no government official is ever arrested by their own security detail.
Which means either:
A) nobody in government ever abused their power or committed a crime
or
B) everyone in government who ever committed a crime was just too good to ever be observed by their own security detail
or
C) the security detail is a lawless extension of the criminal power structure whose only job is to do violence against anyone who threatens their crime boss
So anyone who would ‘boot’ the criminal out of office has to get past the muscle heads in the sunglasses with the earpieces and the Uzis.
Until or unless there is a mechanism in place to account for that, one which can’t be instantly subverted by money or blackmail, we’re just fooling ourselves.

It has long been noted that the Constitution is missing a whole bunch of “or …..” clauses.
As in, “….the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed, or any person or institution attempting same shall be abolished and expelled.”
Or, perhaps, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.….or it shall be an outlaw Congress with all previous acts voided and all members subject to public hanging.”
You don’t even need to create a specific authority to make such determinations and perform such actions. As Andrew Jackson famously said, “if one drop of blood be shed there in defiance of the laws of the United States, I will hang the first man of them I can get my hands on to the first tree I can find.”

So what Constitutionally granted method(s) does the American public have to accomplish same?
Pretty much “vote ’em out”. That’s why a vast perpetual bureaucracy is so poisonous.

● I don’t see a problem with people moving out of a state whose laws they don’t agree with. (IOW, I don’t see them as victims.)

● Those are the people who will perpetuate the “trans” sickness for all of society because their child is sick, they support the avenue that sickness has taken, and they won’t be able to allow themselves to admit their error. They are all in way too deep.

Most of these “transitioners” are the victims of a mental disorder called Histrionic Personality Disorder, or alternatively, extreme Narcissistic Personality Disorder.
Notice that they are unhappy and/or suicidal until they have somehow managed to become the entire focus of their family and everyone around them? I’ve noticed. What they need is therapy and God. Something a little different….
For some reason, it reminded me of the exercises I used to do in Tae Kwon Do…..
Essentially, they are “fights” with imaginary enemies (often several), that are meant to not only practice the moves but gain fluidity and ease moving from one to another. Obviously, doing them in air doesn’t help with the force of your attacks — there are separate things to do for that.

A random Taekwondo anecdote —
The Fiancee and I had just landed in Saint Petersburg, Russia. They send a bus out to your plane and bus you to the terminal. I’m standing next to a (large) guy wearing a satin Taekwondo jacket with his name embroidered on it — something like 7th dan black belt.
Since we’re standing on this bus waiting for it to load, I turned to him and said, “so it’s you! You’re the guy!” He slowly turned around. I said, “there was this weird question on the four-page visa application about whether you had special knowledge of chemical, biological, nuclear warfare or hand-to-hand combat. Clearly, they had you in mind.” He laughed and said, “I answered ‘no’ on that one.”
I went on to talk about doing our visas weeks in advance and agonizing over the questions (they had things like, “what was your grandfather’s profession?”) — understanding that I was a guest in their country. He explained that he had been specifically invited — there was a major Taekwondo competition being held, and they were short on judges. They called him from Saint Petersburg to ask if he could come. Two hours later, he had a visa; six hours later, he was on a plane.
When we got off the bus and went through immigration at the terminal, he was whisked off into a private car and I never saw him again. We got to experience good ol’ Russian bureaucracy and had to take a cab to our hotel.
Nice guy. I hope he got some laughs among his fellow judges with the story of the guy on the airport bus.
He also explained that he had no ‘special’ knowledge of hand-to-hand combat — just what would be expected of a seventh dan Taekwondo black belt….no more, no less.

Thankfully 2 are in the neighborhood (the ones w/ our granddaughters!!!), one is about a mile & a half away (plus he’s with us about half the time), & the other checks in regularly, at least with he dad via texting (I have no cell & no text capabilities), so they’re not Too far either. Hang in there, it will get better! 🙂

I guess my comment about Daniel Chapter 3 differences between the version DP shared in the opener & how it is found at BibleGateway.com didn’t get approved 🙁
There are big differences that were surprising to me. The NIV version has 30 verses, as do most English versions of that chapter. The Douay-Rheims & several other versions have 100 verses. I was wondering where the other material was sourced as there were no footnotes given (that I saw).

I didn’t think it was overly controversial to ask about the source material for a 70 verse difference in one chapter between different Bible translations. It makes me wonder how many other significant differences Might Exist between various versions of the Bible beyond the inclusion or exclusion of the Apocrypha…
It’s VERY simple. When the Canon of the Bible was closed at the Council of Carthage around 400 A.D., after a massive argument between Sts. Augustine of Hippo and Jerome, it was decided by the Bishop of Rome at the time that the ancient version of the Old Testament would be used by the Christian Church rather than the Masoretic Text that the Jerusalem Jews whittled out of what was the original between about 100 and 283 A.D. What they took out was largely the Greek books, but parts of Daniel and Ruth. The other books are Baruch, Judith, Wisdom, Sirach (or Ecclesiasticus) 1 & 2 Maccabees, and Tobit. All of those books are in the Vulgate, which is the Bible from which all Catholic Bibles are translated.
When Martin Luther started carving on the original Christian Bible, he switched out the ancient Old Testament for the newfangled one, and thus a lot of teachings which are called “unbiblical” by so many who use Bibles descended from Luther’s fragment were more or less lost.
And Apocrypha, for us, is the 22 books that did not make it into the New Testament, one of which is the Didache that reads like a Catechism.

This is the best explainer of what happened with Hunter Biden’s plea deal in court that I have read. It’s from Will Scarf on Twitter:
Based on conversations with people who were in the courtroom today, and my experience as a former federal prosecutor, I think I know the full story of what happened with the Hunter Biden plea agreement blow-up this morning.
Bear with me, because this is a little complicated:
Typically, if the Government is offering to a defendant that it will either drop charges or decline to bring new charges in return for the defendant’s guilty plea, the plea is structured under Federal Rule of Criminal Procedure 11(c)(1)(A). An agreement not to prosecute Hunter for FARA violations or other crimes in return for his pleading guilty to the tax misdemeanors, for example, would usually be a (c)(1)(A) plea. This is open, transparent, subject to judicial approval, etc.
In Hunter’s case, according to what folks in the courtroom have told me, Hunter’s plea was structured under Federal Rule of Criminal Procedure 11(c)(1)(B), which is usually just a plea in return for a joint sentencing recommendation only, and contained no information on its face about other potential charges, and contained no clear agreement by DOJ to forego prosecution of other charges.
Instead, DOJ and Hunter’s lawyers effectively hid that part of the agreement in what was publicly described as a pretrial diversion agreement relating to a § 922(g)(3) gun charge against Hunter for being a drug user in possession of a firearm.
That pretrial diversion agreement as written was actually MUCH broader than just the gun charge. If Hunter were to complete probation, the pretrial diversion agreement prevented DOJ from ever bringing charges against Hunter for any crimes relating to the offense conduct discussed in the plea agreement, which was purposely written to include his foreign influence peddling operations in China and elsewhere.
So they put the facts in the plea agreement, but put their non-prosecution agreement in the pretrial diversion agreement, effectively hiding the full scope of what DOJ was offering and Hunter was obtaining through these proceedings. Hunter’s upside from this deal was vast immunity from further prosecution if he finished a couple years of probation, and the public wouldn’t be any the wiser because none of this was clearly stated on the face of the plea agreement, as would normally be the case.
Judge Noreika smelled a rat. She understood that the lawyers were trying to paint her into a corner and hide the ball. Instead, she backed DOJ and Hunter’s lawyers into a corner by pulling all the details out into the open and then indicating that she wasn’t going to approve a deal as broad as what she had discovered.
DOJ, attempting to save face and save its case, then stated on the record that the investigation into Hunter was ongoing and that Hunter remained susceptible to prosecution under FARA. Hunter’s lawyers exploded. They clearly believed that FARA was covered under the deal, because as written, the pretrial diversion agreement language was broad enough to cover it. They blew up the deal, Hunter pled not guilty, and that’s the current state of play.
And so here we are. Hunter’s lawyers and DOJ are going to go off and try to pull together a new set of agreements, likely narrower, to satisfy Judge Noreika. Fortunately, I doubt if FARA or any charges related to Hunter’s foreign influence peddling will be included, which leaves open the possibility of further investigations leading to further prosecutions.
Thankfully Noreika, AND her clerks smelled a rat.
Looked at the structure and realized Prosecutors and Hunters lawyers were in bed, having a good time.

It appears that Donald Trump, in the NEW indictment, is accused of trying to delete the server at Mar-a-Lago and also of trying to wipe surveillance footage. It also appears that at least one of his employees is being accused in the indictment along with POTUS45.
I had read that they were going to try to get them on “moving boxes.” Deleting a server is new to me. If Trump just took a hammer to it, maybe this would all go away. 🙄
Or wiped it, like, with a cloth (or whatever HELL-the-BEAST said)…

Ground report: my cousin Velma just told me about a young man they know, Jordan Jackson. He is competing for KWFC radio’s Gospel Great in Springfield, Missouri and is the son of their pastor. Today, he was named one of the Top 2 singers remaining in the competition. If he wins, he gets to sing two songs at a picnic at Silver Dollar City. There’s no prize money but it’s exciting and easy to listen. The site let me vote for him without any hassle or personal info. He sings a cappella, which I think is challenging.
