How can someone be almost 100% wrong about everything? It was pretty easy to see how the 2024 election would go. DeSantis and Haley would be non factors in the gop primary, with only a few people rallying around them as they attacked one of the most popular GOP leaders in decades. Of course, the fake trails would be a positive for Trump as the majority of people think a government used against its political opposition is a no go in this country Unemployment figures can be played with grocery and gas bills can’t. So, of course, Trump would be seen as better on the economy. Only a small minority wants open borders, so of course, Trump would be better on immigration. The country is fed up with endless war, so of course, the war in Ukraine and Israel would be negatives for Biden. Seeing Biden and Trump side by side of course biden’s health would be a factor. Yes abortion will be an issue, but now that it isn’t a national issue but a state issue, people are directing their activity accordingly and focusing on the state level, taking it off the table. Believe it or not, most people dont want the ability to kill babies in the womb to be the common goto. Most agree abortion should be rare but an option. Come on, this stuff is easy to predict, and yet he got most of it wrong.

Since the school grew its own food AND had a culinary curriculum, the food was to die for! Students were employed as cooks and waiters/waitresses too.

My first employer took my Ex and I out to dinner to check out our table manners as part of my screening. He wanted not only technical knowledge but someone who could be taken to dinner meetings with the brass from other companies.

At a formal dining-in I was once accused and fined by mr vice for threatening dinner guests as I was addressing the assemblage with a fork in my hand. At Thanksgiving my parents were shocked to watch me dismember a turkey leg with knife and fork instead of grabbing it and gnawing on it.

This is a reminder to me that standards of dress help build a stable, polite society. IMO, “freedom of expression: can be curbed in certain situations. You don’t see lawyers with nose rings, pink hair, and combat boots. Professionals have to dress professionally. I’m in favor of school dress codes being a little stricter–not to be uncomfortably dressed up, but to look sane and presentable. That would eliminate trannies, furries, and other deviancy.
I also think schools should have dress codes.
The whole reason for education is to PREPARE THE YOUNG TO ENTER SOCIETY AS CONTRIBUTING MEMBERS!

It is interesting that everyone now assumes that the Supreme Court is political not impartial. It seems Lady Justice has lost her blindfold. Maybe some American should start a crowd funding campaign to buy her a new blindfold.
I think that lawyers like Alan Dershowitz and Jonathan Turley have not been nominated to SCOTUS by Dems because they do attempt to be impartial and to follow the law and the Constitution rather than politics.
I actually have a problem with the Florida stripper age law. While I can mostly go along with raising the minimum age for actual strippers, the law goes much farther than that. It bans anyone from working in an adult entertainment venue under the age of 21 in any capacity.
When I first started working at a CPA firm, I was only 20 years old. This law would have barred me from visiting the club, posting the books, pulling financials, and handling payroll filings (all of which would have been done in some ill-lit back office away from the performers).
When I was 16, I was working at a liquor store that had a back “secret passage” into an adjacent bar. Had that bar had strippers, I would not be able to run a case of beer into the adjacent facility when they ran out — because I was underage.
Further, it would appear that I would have grave difficulties owning or co-owning a strip club in Florida if not over the age of 21. While I was not financially able to do so when I was younger, everyone’s got to start somewhere. [One is reminded of Bill Clinton’s quip regarding Hillary’s 2016 campaign effort: “could not sell pussy on a troop train.”]
I graduated High School at 16 and college at 20, so I’m a bit resentful of age restrictions from the get-go — but I do think that the Florida law goes too far.

My ancestors helped found Wethersfield & Litchfield, CT which I think are near Hartford. I don’t know this part of the country well having just passed through a couple times in my 6 decades.
My son was asking me about my travels when I was in college & grad school, on breaks, & one such trip I drove from Tulsa to Baltimore, where I dropped off my roommate & then drove solo from Baltimore to Boston (Beverly) to spend the week with my old roommate. I was all proud of myself to handle that formidable corridor, having never been to either place before, well alone. 🙂
I’d never heard the term “jughandle” before but was just mentioning Today to my daughter about the various ways Michigan intersections work are a serious pain in the bootay. You pretty much have to memorize multiple intersections to travel with ease through certain aspects of our state’s transit system.
The intersection of Telegraph Road, US 24, & Ford Road in Dearborn has a jughandle when heading South on Telegraph & wanting to go East on Ford Road. When heading North on Telegraph to go West on Ford there is a dedicated left turn boulevard from the left lane though.
However if you want to take a left from Ford Road to Telegraph from either direction you need to execute a “Michigan Left”. This would be a right turn where you immediately get in the left lane where there is a dedicated U-Turn boulevard to allow you to access traffic in the opposite direction.
This Michigan Left is also a very common thing along highways, like I-96 & certain portions of Southfield Freeway where you exit to the service drive that parallels the highway, to access the local area & sometimes have to use a left turn crossover to head in the opposite direction.
Some of my husband’s trucking deliveries have him making these Michigan left maneuvers rather ad nauseum when there are multiple business sites needing deliveries in an area that is subdivided by a highway like I-96. It gets really compounded whenever there is an error to correct of missing an item to deliver that was loaded wrong on his truck or accidentally leaving an item that was mismarked for one site but actually belongs to another. He had such turn-arounds a few times today when he covered another driver’s route that went between Toledo & Detroit & these turn arounds ended up adding like an hour to his day all told today…
That level of racism can be credited to the race-mongers on the Left. I seriously doubt that that guy has been mistreated by white people in this day and age. There is also an element of entitlement: whites don’t understand his struggles. It’s not clear what “understanding” them would look like. Affirmative action? Reparations? ENTIRE ARTICLE: “Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) officials approved an estimated $11 million in bonuses for high-ranking executives instead of using the funds for their intended purpose, according to an inspector general report. Congress authorized this misused money to hire and retain “critical skill” specialists to manage veterans‘ benefits resulting from health complications related to exposure to burn pits, Agent Orange, and other hazardous substances. Instead, the fund was used to pay out bonuses to over 180 senior executives at the VA’s central office in Washington.
The report outlines that the misappropriated bonuses, which averaged over $55,000 and, in some cases, exceeded $100,000, resulted from breakdowns of control and leadership at multiple levels within the VA. The report recommends that the “Secretary of Veterans Affairs or his designee takes appropriate action to determine whether individuals involved in the decision-making process … had any actual or apparent conflicts of interest and develop a process to ensure all decision-makers are free from conflicts when awarding future incentives.”

If I was representing him, I would have challenged the administration of the “truth” oath to Michael Cohen. I would have made a motion based on his having admitted to perjury.
The premise of administering an oath to “tell the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth” is that a prospective witness is capable of honestly making such a promise.
In the case of someone who has already admitted to lying when under oath previously, the person has effectively proved that he/she could not comply with that promise. This makes taking the oath pointless and misleading to the jury. If idiot judge denied the motion, I would seek an immediate stay from the appellate court.

Thank you Duchess01 especially for this poem. It is so helpful to me to trust and be grateful for all God’s protection and gifts even when life gets a little dicey. My home was not moving so last week I took it off the market for now. I have made much progress on downsizing and learned a lot. A few minutes after my realtor emailed me about picking up her sign and lockbox, I got an email from a lady I worked with right after coming to the East Coast (16 years ago) and before the trials of Obama, Covid, Biden. She has started on her own and knows the contracts and accounting side. She is hoping to keep me busy increasingly. Right now, it’s a little project to help an engineering firm with their DARPA proposal. Such fun and content I can support with clear conscience. Thank you, God for your blessings. Every time I run out of ideas for how to keep doing good in a world gone mad, God makes things happen to help me see the path I should take. I love being a busy writer/editor and leaving things a little better than when I first touch them.

Well, here’s the thing; Jews have been in the “Middle East” for thousands of years. God gave them the land. They were “dispersed” around the world by war and conquest, but WWII made many of them want to return to somewhere they weren’t hunted and murdered like animals.
It would be like if some maniac started killing off Native Americans overseas somewhere, and they all decided to come back to live on the reservations in America. Whoever “sent” them back here, they would be returning to their ancestral home.

Well, they managed to capture most of the wrinkles and liver spots. Is that a tinge of green on some spots cancer? A side note.
“QAnon” is how normies address the movement. People who have lost touch with the normie world can’t abide it, but it is what it is, and if one tries to open up to normies with “there is no QAnon”, to people who only know “QAnon”, it’s automatic loserville.
Neon Revolt was trying to grow the Q-verse, and it made sense to me. This purity test of “you cannot utter the term QAnon” is cult-speak, IMO, and falls right into the portrayal of Q-speaking folks as a cult.
That said, the Gunnels angle makes Badland and Herald sound WAY off, and it makes sense now that Kash and friends tried to gently scuttle some of the devolution talk at that point where they gently cooled Herald’s jets.

As you well know the Patrick Gunnels stuff — embracing any and all conspiracy theories — Smelled to me of a PLANT as I have said before.
He has certainly had GOOD instruction on debating techniques. That was obvious in his take down of Steve Kirsch (a major enemy of the Deep State) He is NOT dumb, and I think his degree is in mathematics.
He also ran as a Libertarian in Texas.
Libertarian candidates are often used by the Left to suck votes away from Republicans when the elections are close.

Exactly – I don’t believe that PO boxes are typically allowed as voting addresses – officially. I believe that people can use their own business addresses – I know that they do so, in any case.

Insurance agent blamed it on expensive car repairs (EVs, government mandates), wildfire losses (based on brush buildup from government neglect), losses from flooding (no new reservoirs in 40 years from government neglect), and increase rebuilding costs (government inflation)…..which California has crammed into insurance premiums.
Obviously, this is self-serving BS on one level, but when the State blames it all on direct consequences from State acts it seems surreal.

JUST IN: During questioning Michael Cohen admitted that he met prosecutors in Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg’s office while he was in jail in 2019, and even asked them to get his sentence reduced for cooperation. This shows that the Manhattan DA’s office was looking for a crime while Trump was still President, and Cohen was looking for any way to get out of jail. Why did Manhattan DA’s office investigate this while it was still being investigating by federal authorities, who later dropped all charges?

I am hearing that people are upset that illegals are voting. One thing are to remember is when one becomes a citizen one needs to be able to speak English, read English and write English. Easy to sort out the people who do not speak English they are not citizens.
I feel also driver license test should only be given in English sadly is not. Sort out those who do not speak English are not citizen. That is how I would sort most of them out.

What I take from that is that someone who knew all about the things mentioned because they were experiencing most of them and could logically predict others, posted their idea of what the elites have planned for mankind. And much of it is accurate. But it’s not a decades-old writing from the last century about what *they* plan to do to us, as seems to be intimated. IMO, this is another example of internet influencers picking up something, not being accurate about it, and running with it.
If it were presented as “Look what someone wrote in the early 21st century about what the elites have planned for us,” it would still be useful because those listening to it or reading it could relate to its content.
