molly we have a log home and carpenter bees can be a nuisance. we have treated the logs, but the deck and railings are easy targets. we bought carpenter bee traps. they fly in and cannot get back out. we’ve caught hundreds since we put them up.
Interesting. They were hot and heavy a month or so ago. One of them must’ve drilled a hole in a deck post top . It was an absolutely perfect big bee size hole.

Not responding – which includes not responding quickly, directly, or at all – is one of my go-to techniques for moderating situations. But so is responding quickly and in great detail. I play it by ear about which to use.
But yes – free speech includes saying nothing, and that is often the wisest course of action – although, like all free speech options, it has its downsides. People often think they are being ignored if there is no reply or a like. I’ve found it more useful, personally, to show presence in some fashion of response.

Of course they say it had no bearing and that a supposed Pfizer document listing stiff person syndrome is not a list of side effects — which might be true. It might be a list of things they were watching out for initially.

Fair enough. I still think that Celine’s early symptoms might have been exacerbated by the vax. Also, we don’t know that her early symptoms were part of stiff person syndrome. Maybe the vax sent her immune system over the edge and her condition is worse because of the vax. We know the jab doesn’t help the immune system.

I’m just a simple country girl but I can read and think for myself. Here’s my layman’s reasoning:
The last ‘vax’ shot I took was 10 years ago for shingles.
I will NEVER again take a ‘preventive’ injection they call a vaccine since they altered the definition of a vaccine, and the type of vax from dead/live virus shot to an MRNA-shot.
Flu shots were never called vaccines;they were called flu shots and it was widely understood they did not prevent the virus; they ‘might’ lessen the symptoms. Thus there was a distinct difference between a virus vax (like MMR) and a virus shot (like flu). In the future, every virus injection will be MRNA or worse.
In the 4 years since this covid hoax/scare began, not once have I seen any of our so-called health bureaucracies or corporate medical conglomerates which employ 99% of primary care physicians publish anything or recommend anything related to strengthening our immune systems. Neither do they show any interest in exploring how those of us who are unvaxxed and never contracted covid keep our immune systems healthy. This alone tells me they do not have our best interests at heart.
Watch the pattern … pushing flu shots, shingles shots, pneumonia shots, and more recently RSV and covid shots, and now bird flu shots … it’s just another form of drug pushing. Seriously, if they can’t hook us on opioids & fentanyl, they’ll destroy us via never-ending shots!

I’ve noticed also the insurance companies doing their part. Calls, emails, letters and texts pushing home visits and pushing shots. They’re wanting interaction however they can get it. I know someone who mistakenly thinks these things are directly from the doctor like the doc is requesting/ordering through the insurance for him to take part in the free screening ( snooping) and other suggestions.

Just an observation about shingles vaccine – those of us old geezers who caught chicken pox and recovered RARELY get shingles. Most of those who get shingles are those who got chicken pox vaccine.
IOW they never had chicken pox so they never got that superior immunity that comes from catching-and-recovering.
I agree with this, despite having had both real chickenpox as a kid, and shingles as an adult. I am fairly certain that the incidence of shingles is much higher now, since we moved away from using pediatric chickpox as its own immunization.
Disease-conferred immunity is almost always superior to a vaccine, IMO.

But the title of that section is “Cumulative Analysis of Post-authorization Adverse Event Reports.” It certainly looks as if SPS is one of the adverse events.

IMO, this is another data point in the argument which can be fairly made that Pfzier-BioNTech (and ** whatever other entity ** who may have been working with them) to develop BNT162b2 had to have known this, in order to include the ** specific ** chemical mechanisms that lead to the creation of “anti-GAD antibodies” into BNT162b2.
Yours Truly is going to be ** very careful ** in positing the following:

There are over 1,200 total Adverse Events of Special Interest that are listed on the eight pages of this section of the Pfizer-BioNTech report that the company gave to the FDA on 30 April 2021.
Take a glance at the Stiff Person Syndrome StatPearls book by Muranova and Shanina (link provided above.) This goes into detail about how SPS develops.
This is only ONE example of the ** enormous amount ** of what can only be the
** very specific detail work ** that went into the ** various elements ** that were cobbled together to lab-create the modRNA and/or the ** enhanced ** Spike Protein that went into BNT162b2.
IMO, this kind of detail work isn’t just some “random assignment, come up with something” that’s given out to “lab grunts.” One suspects that there was a carefully-drawn up plan behind it.

As long as somebody takes over those emails after a member goes offline, it is possible (but not certain) that I can request information. Sadly, many relatives either can’t, won’t, or don’t get access to computers, phones, and email accounts, and things can remain unresolved.
To some extent, we have to accept the mysteries of internet anonymity, as part of the good and the bad of online discussion.
Ozzy last showed up here in November of 2023 – about 7 months ago. She’s had other long absences, and around that time mentioned being very busy with a business. I’m not TOO worried yet.

SD: “The Supreme Court rejected the standing of the State of Missouri and five individuals in the censorship and free speech case surrounding social media. The court came down with a 6-3 decision, Justice Amy Coney-Barrett writing the majority opinion. Justices Alito, Gorsuch and Thomas dissented in the minority.
The background of the case was very familiar to this audience, as the Biden administration was previously blocked by lower courts from telling social media platforms to remove content against their interests. Today, the Supreme Court rejected the standing of the plaintiffs, essentially giving a green light to the USA government to begin controlling social media platforms again.
If you read the opinion [FULL PDF HERE], I would strongly urge readers to focus beginning on page #11 of the Justice Barrett opinion. It is obvious in the three or four pages that follow, the court was looking for an exit from the free speech issue. Denying the case on “standing” grounds became their justification for the cop-out.
Barrett goes out of her way to make the standing issue the crux of the majority opinion. Comey-Barrett dismisses all the instances of censorship and coerced removal under the auspices that the relief sought by the plaintiffs was for future harm, not past injury. The lower courts had ruled the government could not interfere with speech in the future, without establishing that each individual plaintiff was harmed specifically by each action of the government.

Unfortunately, standing is a gateway issue. No standing, no right to be in court.
To the extent that sundance is suggesting that lack of standing is a choice that can be avoided, he’s plain wrong. Standing can be [and usually is] assumed but if it ever becomes apparent that it might not exist in the case, the court is obligated to stop everything and satisfy itself that it does exist.
This might look like ‘searching’ for a reason to dump the case. And that could be but maybe not …

Here’s a lovely tale from Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Izerion Cooper was partying a bunch of people, including his neighbor Anfrnee Cystrunk-Taylor. He requested some people distract said neighbor so that he could burgle Cystrunk-Taylor’s apartment, where he stole cash and a firearm. Unfortunately, he left his cellphone at the scene.
After Cystrunk-Taylor returned to his apartment, he called the police to report the burglary. Cooper, Dieonte A. Lee, Jr., and a 3rd friend went to Cystrunk-Taylor’s apartment to retrieve Cooper’s cellphone, but encountered resistance being that Cystrunk-Taylor was not distracted elsewhere. Cooper was armed (though not with Cystrunk-Taylor’s previously stolen firearm).
After a bit of a scruffle, Cystrunk-Taylor produced a firearm (also not his previously stolen firearm) and shot Cooper in the head, resulting in acute negative health consequences.
The local DA did a thorough investigation and only Dieonte A. Lee, Jr is facing criminal charges.
