I am watching videos on how to repair a door sill and how to install handrails on brick and cement! The other MUST DO repairs I can not do and will have to hire someone…. When we have the money saved up.
The kitchen floor will just have to wait another decade…
Mounting things on brick and cement is not difficult. You need the right drill bit, then anchors, and you can just bolt stuff onto the wall. From there, it’s about what you want the rail to look like. If it were me, I’d go pure hillbilly and make the rail out of oak.
Probably going wrought iron. Right now Hubby is using the bucket of the tractor as a handrail… Howze that for hill billy.😂

Thanks for that tip. I am first going to check out the $$$ for wrought iron. It is only 3 steps plus a 4 foot porch and I am only going to do one side. We use the tractor to bring stuff in on the other side.

4 gigs in 3 days. Since Hubby is now on a cane he can not do very much to help.
The fall/Halloween are our big time for large gigs instead of birthdays.
Goodness gracious! Can you find a victim to help out on your farm’s end of things? (That way, he’d not be client-facing and unlikely to have liability issues.)
Actually yes. My friend finally came home from the mid west and is living with us again, at least for a little while.
She is very handy and helps A LOT! Also we do use volunteers and casual labor for big events.
Liability wise we are insured. We have had frauds, but they target the ponies. My insurance agent was a polo player and is VERY GOOD at sniffing out the frauds.
My friend and I look enough alike everyone thinks she is my sister or daughter.
The problem is I am still doing the work of 1 1/2 people and with older ponies the work load has increased. We now have to feed our ‘no teeth’ oldsters 3 – 4 times a day. On the other hand they are rock solid and do not bat an ear at fire engine and police sirens, balloons popping… so I am NOT interested in ‘trading them in.’
As with most “busy season” things, think of it as being hit in the head with a hammer. It may be painful and daunting now, but it’s going to feel so good once it stops.
Actually, we would like it to last several more months! We need the money.

I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Who’s charged?
Vincent Grayson, 57: Head boys basketball coach at Booker T. Washington High School in Houston ISD. Grayson is charged as the organizer of the cheating operation. He’s alleged to have made $1,090,000 off of the scheme. Tywana Gilford Mason, 51: Former director and VA certifying official at the Houston Training and Education Center. Mason allegedly used her position as a test proctor to keep the proxy scheme hidden. She’s alleged to have made $125,000 off the scheme. Records indicate Gilford Mason was prosecuted for Bribery in the early 2000’s. Nicholas Newton, 35: Assistant principal at Booker T. Washington High School. Newton is accused of participating in the scheme by acting as a proxy test-taker. He’s alleged to have made $188,000 off the scheme by taking 430 tests. Darian Nikole Wilhite, 22: A proctor at TACTIX who allegedly accepted bribes to enable Newton's actions as a testing proxy. It’s alleged he accepted $250 each time he allowed the testing to take place under his watch. LaShonda Roberts, 39: Assistant principal at Yates High School. Roberts is accused of recruiting nearly 100 teachers to take part in the cheating scheme. She’s alleged to have charged each teacher she recruited, some cases ‘in excess of $1,000’.All five defendants face two counts of engaging in organized criminal activity
Levine says this activity spans back to 2020, but it was in 2023, that the Texas Education Agency noticed some irregularities at a testing location ‘HTECH’.
“Often these people had previously failed the exam, they then drove to the Houston area, and suddenly they were passing the test with flying colors,” said Levine.
He said as TEA was investigating, they got a tip on the scheme which led to more concrete evidence.
He says TEA shut down HTECH at this time, but Grayson did not shut down the scheme, and simply moved it to a different testing location, TACTIX, where he allegedly recruited Wilhite.
Levine says the paying teacher would come to the testing center, check in, show ID, then leave within five minutes. Newton would sit in their place and take the test.
He says they caught Newton red-handed taking a test in February 2024. He says Newton would often take more than one test at once.
As for the 200 teachers, who received the false certifications, information on them is limited.
Ogg did say that at least two of them have been identified as sexual predators, being charged with sexual crimes.

An interesting story behind going to Hillsdale. It was my son’s senior year of high school. It was the middle of February, and Hillsdale was having an open house meet and greet gathering in our town. On the day of the event there was a heavy winter storm that went through our area. The snow was 6-8 inches on the ground and still snowing. The event was about 25 miles from where we lived. We went anyway. I think the Hillsdale people were impressed by his determination more than his grades. He was admitted to the college, and he definitely got a valuable education. I have never regretted one cent spent on that decision.

Our son, who was accepted to HC, got his first Real post-college job working at my husband’s then employer. His boss hired him with Zero Experience in the field (he worked as a hydraulics tech for several years there) in large part because Hubby had told him that our son did his own work on his car & worked to put himself through college (all his other expenses besides his full ride & living at home he covered working as a waiter). This work ethic track record basically got him a very challenging, highly technical job that overwhelmed our son for a few months but that he grew into quite well. His boss was ideally training Brandon to be his replacement when he retired but ultimately B decided to go to the Fire Academy, funding himself again in pursuit of a lifelong dream to eventually become a firefighter/EMT, which he loves, working for the ever colorful City of Detroit!

There is a certain official who was never called to the grand jury because
1) Jack Smith knew I had the strongest case to assert it. And that was borne out by the ruling in Trump v U.S., which led to Jack Smith removing me from the superseding indictment.

A couple of days ago I ran into an acquaintance. She is the manager of a local restaurant I go to. We chat a lot.
She told me she wasn’t feeling great, because last night she took her first dose of blood pressure medication. Uh-oh, I said. Why?
She went in to the doctor for something else, but her BP was 160/100. I’m like, really that’s not that high. And blood pressure meds are addictive, in that your body gets used to them and you have a hard time getting off. I know, because the DH weaned himself off his, and then his BP stabilized. (He got on them years before I knew him).
THEN it gets worse! She tells me, “normally, my blood pressure is really low.” So I’m like, WTF?!
She says, yeah, this was an anomaly, usually it’s low, but this time it was high, so they gave me the prescription!
Well, I just about lost my shit, y’all! What the hell? ONE TIME, blood pressure is 160/100, and they PRESCRIBE?!
I told her I would get her a blood pressure monitor, to for the love of God check it herself a few times a day for a week or two, and PLEASE stop taking a prescription until she has more information!
What in the hell has happened to medicine? What is WRONG with these fucking doctors? We’d be safer with Mengele.
AND now I am hearing about ‘Heart Murmurs’ all over the place.
All three of my elderly ponies that needed the vet this year NOW have ‘Heart Murmurs’ AND my 50+ yr old friend has just been told she has a ‘heart murmur’ for the very first time in her life.
Given the Clot Shot it makes me mighty suspicious that ‘Heart Murmurs’ are the newest fad in medicine.

Back in the 70s I was told that I had a functional heart murmur. No medical intervention was required or proposed. However, in the intervening decades it seems to have disappeared since no doctor has mentioned it while checking my heart. You may be right about it being the new focus.
I have three siblings born with heart murmurs. Of course, they are the three who took the shots. One had to have a heart valve replaced prior to COVID, and that fixed it.

my mom is 85–never ever had a sugar problem. now her doctor claims she is prediabetic. he wanted her to take classes–get a test kit–all FREE of course and they would determine a plan.
i took my test kit over the weekend. we did her fasting and postprandial sugars.
her morning sugars were around 114 and her postprandial readings were around 149. I wrote a letter for her to take to the doctor detailing what i had done and her readings. I also noted that she takes simvastatin which is known to raise fasting blood sugars. (the only readings they have for mom are fasting ones as they always tell her not to eat before the visit.)
when i was diagnosed, they wanted fasting sugars to be 120 or below. postprandial readings should be 180 or lower.
now they want 90 and below 140.
need to get mom off of that statin if possible…ASAP!

There came a point in time when, at my annual physical, the Dr. informed me that my cholesterol levels needed to be treated with a statin. Being dumb (at that time…I have since recovered) I dutifully filled the prescription and began my daily dose. Not long after I began feeling…well…pretty crappy. Sure enough, I was experiencing those statin “side effects.” So I quit taking them.
Next year. Annual physical. High cholesterol levels. A new statin prescription. More side effects. Quit taking.
Repeat and rinse for a couple more physicals.
Then a dozen years ago, another annual physical. The Dr. notes my past history with cholesterol and statins. However, still assuring me that my cholesterol levels needed to be brought down and statins were the answer, he had a new and better statin for me. Off I go to fill the prescription and dutifully begin my new daily regimen.
Three days later I had a massive seizure on my daughter’s hallway floor. Oops.
It was the first and only one I have ever had.
Notified my Doctor and his reaction was, “Okay. I am putting in your record that you are never to have statins. Period.”
The really funny thing is…my cholesterol levels have never been a big deal at my physicals again – even though I have gone through a number of other doctors.
Statins “improve” cholesterol numbers, but have no associated decline in “all-cause mortality”.
In other words, they sweep problems under the rug.
“Goalpost protectors” are as bad as “pension protectors”.

Mom damaged her pancreas in an auto accident and could not tolerate fat. They put her on a no fat diet. The fatty sheaths around her nerves started to disappear and she could barely stand a loud noise or any disturbance. They put her back on some egg and some butter and that was the end of the problem.
Me? I eat as much fat as my body wants and have never had a problem.

I read that link yesterday and dismissed it as the usual American Thinker nonsense, but re-read it today to see if I dismissed it too hastily.
Unless the crisumstances are very special, a reader can tell if an article is nonsense by matching the headline to the place in the article where the headline is actually addressed. In ths article, the headline above this lengthy article is addressed half way through. IMO that means the writer is writing nonsense.
What do we discover, finally, are the reasons for asserting “no cheating this time?”
1) No covid pandemic; 2) eyes wide open (our side is aware of the cheating); 3) the elites are frightened; and 4) Trump. Reasons which confirm the nonsense.
1) Much of the cheating camelflaged by covid is still in place. Some of it has been reduced in places, and some of it has been increased in places, but we have not seen a systematic eradication of the various means by which cheating is facilitated. To the contrary, every day we hear reports giving evidence of cheating currently undertaken on a massive scale.
2) Our awareness has resulted in no net gain in election integrity, and maybe a net loss. The fact that here and there, now and then, good things are happening, does not negate the probability that cheating is worse, more widespread, and more sophisticated. Our awareness may be (and IS, IMO) vastly better, but so is theirs. I cannot believe that they have not learned as much or more than we have in achieving our respective goals. They demonstrate every single day that our awareness is utterly irrelvant to them in any meaningful way except new ways to undermine and derail our awareness.
3) That the elites are frightened is debatable. People believe this to be true, but everyone is reading tea leaves, and IMO they are probably wrong. At any rate, fright ought to be a motive to cheat harder and more boldly.
4) Trump has always been there, and he has been highly successfully umdermined and out-manuevered always. He has also always been highly, brilliantly successful himself, and we invest our worldy hopes in just such brilliance, courage and determination. He is our avatar. But, for example, look at the Sundance article today where Sundance asserts that Thune will be the new Republican senate leader – – with Trump’s agreement. Eight years after he started, and just now are we getting around to removing the Republican party obstacles, and they are just one of many, and they will not be removed. Thune alone, like Mitchell, is a huge impediment.
I have been looking for a comprehensive article on the measures which have been successfully implemented against another fraud. An article which realistically evaluates where the fraud enterprise is at, as of today. I have not found such an article. Everything is scattered. My point is this: I have no basis for confidence that the election will not be stolen. I have hope (in the non-Christian sense) that the steal will not happen. OTOH, the “elite” seems to be in a position where the election and inauguration of Trump cannot happen, period, whatever the cost. And the “elite” is pretty good at getting what they want.

The following is literally true. The guy next door sat on his back deck and smoked all day long and well into the night. Our bedroom window is about 20-30 feet from his deck.
Many days our window is open. But that just made the stench worse. It seeped into our home (and bedroom) even if things were shut tight.
He would start at five in the morning (yes, 5 AM) and go until after 9 PM at night.
And no, it was not possible to have a discussion. He was a nasty, “property line” type of neighbor. Not for a single moment during our many years as neighbors did I say a harsh word to him, or treat him with anything other than respect. I cleared the apron of his driveway and parts of his sidewalk from snow. But from time to time I was subjected to unpleasant nastiness, regardless. Oh well, that is life.
My neighbor died last week. What a beautiful gift fresh air is. Or, what a beautiful gift the lack of stench is.
My wife and I had to laugh over the weekend because the strong odor of skunk came through the house. Our first thought was: He’s back! Then after a second we realized it to be skunk.

BOMBSHELL – the United States Postal Service recently changed the delivery method of absentee mail-in ballots!
They are hiding the evidence of absentee mail-in ballot fraud – by not allowing the evidence to be created in the first place. Here’s how and what changed:
You can’t get the absentee mail-in vote ballot images from the USPS because they are not sending them to the central sorting facilities!
Normally, you mail a letter to someone or a bill goes out, it goes to your local post office, then it gets to a central sorting facility. Wisconsin for example has six: Madison, Milwaukee, Oak Creek, Green Bay, N. Illinois and Eagan MN that sorts/handles all mail.
Even if mailed to your neighbor 1 house over, that is how the system works.
Obama did this in 2011-2012, consolidating the USPS to have less total facilities. Then, the USPS began consolidating its central sorting facilities in August 2022 and continued through February 2023.
The consolidation plans included moving delivery operations from over 200 “spoke offices” to 21 regional Sort and Delivery Centers.
Where absentee mail-in ballots should go through a central sorting facility: where each and every one would get scanned and an electronic image created.
BOMBSHELL: a telecon was held for the higher ups in the USPS, and the order trickled down to all the faculties NOT to send the ballots to central sorting. Meaning no electronic images are being created!
Confirmed at three locations in Wisconsin, confirmed at one Regional office of the USPS, confirmed at one location in Colorado. And, it explains why they denied me my FOIA request for said images: because there are none. See letter they sent me attached here.
If you remember in 2020 the UPSP was caught deleting evidence of these very electronic images. Still this day they still have not produced them.
The UPSP recently directed, less than a month, post offices to NOT send absentee mail-in ballots to central sort. But instead take them to the election clerks. Meaning again: no electronic ballot images are being created in the first place.
The USPS is doing this on purpose. And who did this? Amber McReynolds, an Obama/Biden plant at the USPS. “Head of the Zuckerberg Bucks National Vote at Home Institute, Amber McReynolds, was appointed by Biden to the US Postal Service governing board” quote and image with red circles from @pepesgrandma

I think this was up before but I missed it.
So for anybody else who hasn’t watched this short clip yet, do yourself the favor.
Talk about putting someone on the spot! The easy answer would have been “the most brilliant political mind I’ve ever worked with,” or some such. Some 15 or 16 years ago I watched a Preacher’s series about the End Times.
In it, he, I believe reasonably and accurately, identified specific countries that would be involved in the final battle known as Armageddon. I won’t go into the details here, but he did it by connecting “biblical dots” (my description) from several books.
Anyway, my point here, is that, even though there was identifiable written imagery for countries existing today…there was nothing about America. The closest thing was mention in one place of the eagle’s (U.S.) wings on the back of the lion (Britain) which, in a later mention of the lion, the wings were no longer there…i.e. representing America’s separation from Britain.
My personal thought that I took away at that time was that God was leaving that decision in our hands. (of course, already knowing what we would do or be)
So would we, the American people, keep this Country as His? Or would we turn away from Him so strongly, so completely, that the result would be we no longer exist as a country at the End Times?
My vision was that, if we hold this Country for Him, it would be a refuge in the End Times. Perhaps it would even be the place where God begins again after Armageddon.
Be that as it may, I believe with all my heart that America has now reached that fork in the road, and that this election is the point at which we choose the path toward our place in the End Times.

I lost my only brother this morning to what I firmly believe were the accumulated incremental, undermining psychological neurologic effects of the multiple COVID-19 “vaccines” that he had taken since early 2021 (the 2-shot “primary series” in 2021; at least one “booster” shot; the “2023-2024 Formula COVID-19 Vaccine” in fall 2023.)
My brother turned away the warning that I tried to give him about these “vaccines.” He instead believed the lies that were told to him by the CDC / FDA / his doctor, that these “vaccines” are “safe and effective.”
I do not fault my brother — I’m not an MD. But, apparently, this is still the “gold standard of belief” among many people — “I trust my doctor; I follow the science.”
Yes, doctors can be trusted, and are trusted, in many instances. Yet, 90%+ of doctors in the United States blindly believed the lies about the “vaccines” — and/or took the shots in order to keep their jobs.
My sister, myself, and his family are in shock. We knew that our loved one wasn’t going to get well again. But at least there was some hope that he could live for awhile longer. Until today.
Please pray for the repose of his soul. Thank you.

I want you to know how much I appreciate your efforts to educate as many as you can about the truth of this deadly weapon…in my view.
We lost our son 2 and a half years ago. He literally dropped dead – died suddenly – while getting ready for work one Monday morning. He dropped so hard that when his head hit the wall it completely punched a huge hole through the drywall.
He had had 2 of the jabs in less than a year before he was gone.
He had diabetes and husband and his other daughters believed that is what killed him. I have absolutely NO doubt that it was the jabs.
Your in depth research and publishing of that information has kept me firm in my belief that it was the Covid jabs.
Mr. TW and I never took a shot, and never will. Unfortunately, like so many others here, too many of our family members have.
Again, in your sorrow, please be reassured that your efforts to “spread the truth” do and will make a difference.
And, that effort will be the perfect memorial to your brother.

Back when I was a manager, I had something similar to this called my “values speech.”
I noted that it was a thing in Silicon Valley to say that the most important thing was a project or your employment, and that people were expected to show how important these things were.
I told my guys that my group didn’t run that way. In fact, I thought there was something profoundly wrong with a person who put their job or project on top of their most important values.
Instead, I would talk about things that are really important — one’s health, lest one become a burden on those who one would support; one’s family; integrity; one’s career and/or life plan.
I’d tell them that I would consider someone who put this job or this project ahead of those things would be highly suspect in my eyes — and that’s easily the top 5 slots of the values list.
This was not to say that I wanted them to blow-off their assignments and treat this job and their responsibilities as a joke…..just that I’d be happy to be in the top 10 priorities, but not in the top five.
We very much appreciate CV’s contributions and I eagerly await her next post…..but Wolf has it exactly right. If she needs to grieve or draw together with family, doing a post at the Qtree shouldn’t be ahead of any such true priorities. We can easily amuse ourselves while CV focuses on what is really important.

The Harris ads have been obnoxious lies for over two weeks. They were being run 2:1 over Trump ads. That all changed today. Trump ads are still on the same schedule, no Harris ads since this morning. Looks like they may be pulling back a bit in GA as well.
